Some people are angry by nature and seeing some of the unfair reviews, it is only normal to try and do better. Lovely shop!

This is a pretty small shop. They have all kinds of things, particularly glassware. Also, some 100+ year old clocks, which I thought was pretty cool

I want to give this a better review, because it has so many neat things to look at, truly. But I bought a metronome, and scissors/letter opener. I did my research when I got home and I find out the scissors/letter opener set are being priced at $13.00 on eBay. We bought them for $65.00 here.Metronome, she claimed was French, it is not. It is American made. The BOTTOM is entirely missing (I have no clue why I didn't bother to check the bottom, so disappointed in myself there), and was still charged $60.00. Vintage Metronomes by De Maelzel Made by Seth Thomas Clock Co. Great Antique Metronome that have the BELL mechanism (older models) are worth near $400.00, the ones without the bell are not nearly worth that much as they are newer. They are NOT worth $60.00, especially with parts missing, like, crucial parts that impact the sound of the device itself. The piece of bottom wood missing has 2 holes in it, meticulously placed for the sound the metronome gives off. Now, it took me about 20 minutes to find all this info online.I am a vintage freak, so to find this womans knowledge was so off, and we were overcharged by a long shot on not just 1 item, is incredibly upsetting. I live for the hunt, and the vintage find thats a "steal"/great deal. Another item we found, the tag wasn't written correctly, my husband corrected the tag and origin of the pin we bought.I don't trust this place's knowledge on items that really are exquisite. If you own a vintage shop, I think its your job to be educated on vintage items. Also, if an item is missing entirely, let the dang customer know and maybe ya know TAKE OFF some of the total price?Ugh.The icing on the cake? She brought out some tiny vintage sewing scissors, and said she'd get some paper for us to test the scissors out on....GASP. Any scissor lover or not knows every scissor has a specific purpose, you CANNOT use paper on sewing scissors. Dear God this hurt my soul, damaging vintage scissors with paper?! Sweet baby Jesus save me.

It's a pleasure to shop at this amazing gallery. The selection is remarkable. You will find whole sets of china and myriad tea cups and saucers. If you have broken part of a set, this is is the place to find a match! Also, the choice of any kind of serving piece is there and Carol will know where to find it. Remarkable too are the textiles, artwork and truly lovely picture frames. The jewelry counter speaks for itself presenting remarkable pieces, many of historical value. The shop is easy on the pocket book. Parking is not a problem. there is free parking on the street as well as in the large lot behind the shops.

Carol's Antique Gallery is a treasure... full of treasures! The majority of her space is filled with vintage kitchenware, but she also sells jewelry, sewing supplies (lots of buttons), toys, figurines, lamps, old post cards, perfume bottles... So many things! The pieces that caught my eye were discontinued colors of Homer Laughlin Fiesta ware, vintage Fire King glass, and some beautiful animal puppet toys! I'm not a collector. I just like visiting antique shops to buy items for personal use. However, from my untrained eye, many of Carol's items appeared to be collector quality. Be sure to allot a good amount of time for browsing. There is much to see! A final note. Carol (the shop proprietor) is very kind and helpful. I bought a little dinosaur figurine from a case and she pulled out a smaller one from a separate area. Since they looked so nice together, I bought them both. Thanks for the friendly customer service, Carol!

A fun store to spend some time in; filled to the brim and moderate prices for an antique store. I came in looking for a glass canning funnel. Carol did not have one in stock but thought she had one at home. Sure enough, she did, and I returned to purchase it (at an extremely reasonable price). Carol is a sweetheart and knows good customer service.
