Our family has been so happy to have our child at Action Day University for the last year and a half. The staff are so amazing and supportive, compassionate and caring. We picked this site specifically because we liked the tight-knit community feel and the tenure of many of the staff. Our child has grown and developed so much because of the support here and we're so glad to be part of the Action Day family!

I'm writing this review as my almost 4 year old is finishing his last few months at Action Day University. We toured many preschools in our proximity and were really looking for a loving, nurturing, flexible environment for my shy son who spent most of his life isolated with us and a nanny during the beginning of the pandemic. We actually didn't want a place that was too academic or strict. He has his whole life to go to school! Once we toured Action Day University and met Ms. Heather, Ms. Sandy and Ms. Sara, we stopped looking. I was a little worried about the lack of space in the classrooms but my husband used a sports analogy and said it's not the facilities but the coach that matters. In the 15 months he's been there, my son's personality has blossomed and he's found his voice. The teachers have taught him how to use his words and express his feelings. They have taught him to be thoughtful and respectful of others and their feelings. They've helped us with potty training and were so patient when I was so stressed out. They encourage him to try new foods despite his picky appetite. Ms. Heather and all the teachers have taken any concerns we have seriously and kept our son safe and happy (there was a brief period of time when another child bit my son out of frustration and we were notified immediately and they took action. This other kid and my son are now best friends!) These teachers are saints! When I drop my son off, there are kids screaming, crying, using the bathroom, or just upset in general and they are all so calm and loving while I just want to extract myself out of there as soon as possible In summary, I will be forever grateful for all the teachers, in particular Ms. Heather, Ms. Sandy, Ms. Marie, Ms. Sara, and Ms. Anna, for loving my child unconditionally and nurturing him into the wonderful little human being he currently is.

A real-life "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" preschool! Seriously, that was the heart, soul, and sense of neighborly community I was looking for, and Action Day University is closest thing to it in real life. The climbable train out front and the most kid-friendly school playground I've ever encountered are signs...but really, it's the people. Ms Heather, the veteran director, is the source... She takes every opportunity to delight the kids - and teachers. The school is filled with her personal touches, and she captures the spirit of fun and celebration in every season. For summer, she has prepared something special for every single day. She is a great administrator as well. As kid friendly as she is, her school is very parent friendly. Of course, my daughter can't stop talking about her teacher Ms Sandy. Communicative, loving, experienced, and enthusiastic - she is the teacher parents dream of for their child. My toddler has grown tremendously, socially and emotionally with Ms Sandy's coaching. Just saying "Ms Sandy" motivates my daughter to get ready for school. It's not just these women I've mentioned, but every teacher... Ms Anna gets my daughter so excited about dancing. Ms Marie sensitively guides thru separation anxiety. Ms Sara engages with science experiments. Ms Carly appreciates my daughter's individuality. The fact that they've been at Action Day for a long time speaks wonders. A word about COVID... this school has handled it extraordinarily, which speaks to both teachers and community. When we started, which was late in the pandemic, remarkably there had been no outbreaks at the school yet. And since then, any blips have been minor and contained - with everyone doing their part and with the school prioritizing safety. Can you tell that I so love and appreciate this gem of a preschool and the people within it? To any parent who's thinking about where his or her child can take a first step into a nurturing and marvelous school community, I can't recommend Action Day University highly enough!

Our daughter Nadia started Action Day when she was 2 years old. She was initially going to be El Quito location but transferred her to be closer to her brother's school (Saratoga Elementary). The teachers and staff here are wonderful. Miss Heather and Miss Sandy are simply amazing. Nadia had such a wonderful time here. They have activities for the kids throughout the day including nap time and hot lunch. We never felt any pressure from the teachers, other daycares and schools can put a lot of pressure on the parents to get things right (eg: if we forget diapers or blankets or if we forgot to sign in and sign out). The teachers always made us feel welcome and being the extremely busy parents that we are, we never felt stressed out. We are very thankful for that. Oooo and we love Miss Lulu too. She's simply the bestest!! The only issue here is the parking situation, but being a smaller place, there's nothing much that can be done about it. Nadia will be back for next summer, we transferred her to a different school for Pre-K.

Our son started at Action Day when he was 2 years old and continues to attend. This school is amazing. Ms. Heather, Ms. Sandy, Ms. Lulu and all of the teachers are all so patient and loving. They truly take the time to know each child and family. They are also very accommodating and strive to make every day a wonderful experience for both the child and parents. We are so lucky to have our child at this school, and I would recommended it to anyone who is truly looking for a loving "home away from home" for their kids.

My kids are in K & 1st grade, and we really miss this school. I feel so incredibly grateful to have found ADP, the related dance program (West Valley Dance). I will forever be grateful for the time, effort and energy these amazing women gave to both of my children. I just can't thank you guys enough!
