I attempted to exchange four propane tanks at the self-serve tank station outside of the Garden Department at the Santee WalMart. After two attempts with the machine throwing error messages at me, I quit. I loaded up my tanks and left.

Without a doubt the BEST Wal-mart I have been in! Very clean inside and out--Especially the bathrooms. Isles are spacious and litter free.Merchandise is fully stocked and orderly. Personnel are friendly, courteous, and well informed. I drive out of my way to go to this Santee Store !

When it comes to customer service this place is the worst. I went in to purchase a chest freezer that they supposedly had 5 of in stock. The one on the shelf was dented and beat up. So I asked for help. 10 minutes later I asked for help again. 15 minutes later I gave up. On the way out I asked to speak to a manager. Apparently Terri was the manager on site however no one could find this person. 3 people sent me 3 directions to find this person. Nope I am not even sure this Terri person exists or if that was just a random name I was given. So after 35 minutes of trying to purchase this item I gave up. Good Luck to anyone going to this store if you need customer service.

This WM in East County was good for what I needed to look for. Compared to the WMs in town I've been to it was well stocked and neat. On a Saturday night it was also surprisingly not too busy.

Yo, wave riders! Captain 619 here, just cruised into the Walmart Tire Center in Santee, CA. I made an appointment and, dude, they got me in 15 minutes earlier. That's faster than a dolphin chasing a wave, bro! The tire technicians were totally gnarly - quick, professional, and knew their stuff like a surfer knows the sea. Now, this spot is all about the essentials, man. They're the masters of tires, batteries, and oil. No fluff, just the core stuff to keep your ride cruising smooth. And let's talk about the prices. You'd think for such primo service, you'd have to shell out some serious clams, right? Wrong, my dudes! The prices were as chill as a sea breeze, didn't wipeout my wallet at all. So, if you find yourself cruising around Santee, CA, and your ride needs some new wheels, a battery boost, or an oil change, do yourself a solid and drop into the Walmart Tire Center. You'll be back on the road, catching the asphalt wave in no time. Captain 619, signing off. Catch you on the flip side!

Would rate it 0 stars if I could. My innocent grandma wanted to play pictionary with her old set when the timer wasn't working. We decided to buy a brand new set with white boards at this walmart. We checked it out, we left, and came back a week later to play that game. But when we opened the game, we saw SOMETHING HORRIBLE. The game was literally missing HALF THE PIECES. The dice, the markers, the pencils, and more. I was shocked. BUT IT GETS CRAZIER. When I checked the box, I saw that BOTH THE TAPE ON THE LEFT AND THE RIGHT WERE BOTH CUT AND DIRTY. SOME STUPID BOZO MUST'VE OPENED IT ALREADY AND STOLE HALF THE PIECES. I wanted to tell my grandma, but I knew she would make it a big deal.

Placed an order for some tires online. Set up an appointment for the next day. A few hours later I get an email saying they don't have 3 of the 4 tires I paid for. Fine. I tried reaching out to see if there was a different brand I could switch it out for. Online customer service. I ended up speaking to someone in India who had no idea what I was saying and responded with non sense. I showed up in person at the scheduled appointment to see if I could get it done....The Caucasian man w/tattoos on his forearm (I didn't get his name! Sorry!) who helped me was great. (That's why they got the extra star) he was running around trying to find me tires but he wasn't able to locate any. Finally I just asked for a refund. He had to call the manager. This review is about Deborah the manager at the tire place. She came out with an attitude because her lunch was disturbed. "Fe fi fo fum" Her look and attitude has no business in customer service let alone working on cars. It was very apparent her employees don't like her and she doesn't like her employees. She was trying to get out of giving me a refund and telling me to just go through the site. Why? I'm right in front of you? Yeah but I want to do it the "right way"... she said. "Download the app... " "use you're email" Hahaha no thank you. I have enough apps! Stay away from Debora and go down to discount tires a couple minutes away. I paid only $60 more. I have insurance on my tires for 40k. I was in and out in an hour with no appointment and we all laughed at Deborah. They even have AC in the waiting room and text updates while you wait.

follow-up from my post yesterdays that the service department sucks. I was one of the first in line with an estimate time of 45 minutes to wait yet everyone after me left far sooner than did.Oil and all fluids were not tapped off but rather way below any service I have ever had. Upon I had specifically ask them to check the wiper fluid which was empty before and you could barely see any in the container I specifically asked that they check my "Tires" since the "Air Tire Pressure Low" light kept coming on even though I had pressure checkEd and filled them several times but it kept coming on again a few days later... so something must be wrong with one of the tires. "Yes we will definitely check those for you."Well most reputable mechanics would go with that information and say, "that doesn't sound right if it's been checked and filled and then low right away ... hey good thought, that sounds like somethings going on with the tires ... after all, pressure keeps going down. Dah!The gentleman behind the cashier was pleasant so why they got one star ...and another women trying to help behind the back of an annoying, grumpy, unable to listen to anyone else in a conversation .... manager, I believe was Deborah. I had asked for a refund simple due to the inconvenience of having to take my now flat tire off of my car the morning after I got home, (mind you I only live 5 minutes away from the store) and put my donut wheel on and drive back to their service department to deal with this, no wiper fluid and plow oil.'Mame we can not do that we need your key to recheck it. I'm like no I'm done with you guys touching my car.Someone says, 'Well, you might have run over something on your way home. Really? I said. Let's review the stats. I came in highlighting that my car was signaling that the air pressure was continually dropping. I ask you to check the tires. You say they are fine when I asked before I left if they checked the tires ... you say yes and it's flat once I get home. You didn't fix anything. You said it was fine. It went flat as the car was telling everyone it was not feeling well, yet you guys say ... "I" must have run over something on our way home. Really, I thought ... they can't see how dumb that sounds.When you ask us to check the air pressure, Deborah says, we only check that. If you want us to check or fix the tire you have to ask us to do that mame. I'll check the video to see if the mechanics checked the Air pressure, but we also need you recheck your car.I once again stated that I didn't ask them to check the air pressure ... I ask them to check all of my tires since I keep getting an air pressure signal ... therefore your job was to check my tires. If I knew which one it was I would have had you fixed when I checked Apparently I mistook you guess as mechanics. BUT NOW I know which one it is ... it's the flat one is in the back of my car. You'll notice it cause, again ... it's flat!Mame you would had to ask us to fit it. If not we just check the air pressure like you ask but I can not refund you until you let us look at your car, so I relent. Cause stupid is as stupid does.So we go to the car the mechanic checks the oil, it was higher but not by much, so I say okay. And mame there is windshield wiper fluid ..... yeah .... Yeah as he practically has it eye right on top of the opening. Yep I see so ... but we probably could have added more. Mind you I have a photo on my phone as they were all peering under my hood trying to be the first on to spot It. Then they saw my tire and that no other fluids had be address even though I pay for all fluids to be addressed.Well I see they should have done better so we will definitely refund your money ... which I appreciated ... finally! But she still had to remind me that they don't fix tires unless you ask them. Whoever manages the automotive department sucks at it. I come to Walmart for my oil change for the convenience. It's not convenient to be calling the department for an update on my car and have no one answer the phones. Then I request to speak to a manager only to be put on hold as soon as I get through and she proceeds to hang up on me. Get your shit together Walmart managers.

This Walmart always seems to disappoint me when I go shopping here. I'll rather drive a few more miles to another Walmart now. 1. There are no veggies and fruits sold here2. They do not accept wic here3. Customer service is very disappointing here

Nice staff but automotive department was open already. I had called night before and was told they open at 8:00am. The poor guy was alone taking cars and doing oil change. The manger should hire more people I was the 3 oil change it took over 2 hours. Disappointed!!!

Disclaimer; I am NOT a fan of Walmart. Seriously I hate this company and trying not to go there as much as I can because I strongly oppose to their ways of treating their employees. However I was forced to go there to pick up the baby formula I ordered online during the nationwide formula shortage. I drove in then noticed that there were vendors selling MAGA/Let's go Brandon merch in their property. WTF? Did they get the permission from Walmart corporation? Anyways I walked in then I realized that their customer service desk was closed because their system was down and the employee asked me to go to other locations. I couldn't, because I set up to pick up my order at SANTEE location and baby formulas were sold out everywhere and the one I purchased online was the last one left. So I went back there a few days later and guess what, the system was still down. Seriously? The management of the billion dollar corporation didn't send their IT people right away?? The customer service counter was closed for a week and nobody cared?I am so happy the baby formulas are back in stock because I don't have to go check this Walmart store anymore
