“My tire blew out yesterday afternoon by the time I finally got the spare on my car it was well past when anyone was open so I figured I’d call in the morning and find a tire shop to get me a new tire easy right!? Ha! I called 43 tire shops at noon I finally found this place and was told to come down they had my tire. I got there anfter 12:30 and the tire is at another location., I totally get that and expected to wait several hours for them to get it come back and installed. I had my two littlest with me 1.5 and 3 and video appointment at 1 for my son’s autism assessment that I could not miss. They ran straight over to get my tire and had it installed well before 2 and I had arrived there at 12:30. I did my son’s video visit in the lobby while my kids regretfully ran a muck! They were nice and understanding and quick and the price didn’t make me cry! My oldest even spilled his popcorn and though I was trying to pick it all up they came with a broom and said not to worry. They were seriously amazing! Their kindness and patience with my kids was truely amazing and the fact that they hurried even though they didn’t have to was such a huge blessing in this stressed mama’s day! I would recommend this place 1000x over!”
“Had a great service experience with Gabe in the service department. Took in my CRV because the ac was not working when the car was idling but worked fine at any speed above standing still. The Honda service writer told us our ac system had black death and said we needed a full AC replacement at a cost of $4700. I took it to pep boys and they reported that the issue was likely the AC compressor. It was either starting to get weak or the clutch was going bad. They inspected for Black Death (contaminated oil in the lines) and there was none present. We decided to replace the compressor and recharge the system at a cost of $457. Ac works great at idea now. Gabe was very friendly and honest, I will now be taking my cars for service to Pep Boys”

“Eric and his team are the best! Been going here since 2009. I found him randomly online when I first moved to San Diego and decided not to go through insurance after some body damage. I shopped around and he didn't talk to me like I was an idiot like everyone else did. He's worked on 3 of my cars over the years, and now I live in LA and I actually had my car towed there because I don't trust anyone else to work on my cars. The work is impeccable, the communication and transparency are unmatched, and also the shop itself its so clean like a showroom. It doesn't make any sense to me! I've left feeling like its too good to be true, but it really is true. You won't regret working with them!”

The bad.
I was given a 1 hour from the call center, 2 hour, 6 hour and it ended up being over 24 hours just to get tires mounted. Not on a vehicle, just mounted. I understand vehicle flats take priority but if you also completed my job in between you would meet time guarantees and keep everyone happy.
The good.
The staff were all friendly and transparent. Very apologetic and in the end made it right. Please offer reasonable time lines and do everything to meet them. Especially for a simple job of mounting tires that can be worked in between jobs.
I will be back for future service as long as I can get honesty which I got and better estimates.
Please also give feedback to your after hours call centers to not give time estimates to complete. They stated no more than an hour which due to the nature of the business is not correct. Leave that to the location so this removes the chances of this happening in the future. Thank you”

“I was amazed with how considerate and quick the team is here at Walmart auto center in Santee. I had a flat and needed a new tire urgently at 5pm on a Friday. Everywhere I called wanted to charge me over 150 and didn't want to squeeze me in. Adrian promised me i'd get seen and sure enough, by 7 I had a whole new set of tires for a fraction of what I would've paid. I am so very impressed and grateful for the attention. Thank you all!”
