“I have nothing but good things to say about the staff here, they know there stuff and I don't feel worried about my kids safety. They are always so quick to report any detail, both good or bad, promptly. Being as busy as I am they even work with me to accommodate my busy schedule”

“I had an excellent experience during my backup care visit via Bright Horizons at Tutor time of Santee. The staff were notably helpful, particularly when dealing with last-minute paperwork issues. Julie Meyer and her team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, ensuring the process went smoothly. They were courteous, respectful, and extremely accommodating. The environment was notably clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Based on my positive experience, I would definitely recommend Tutor time of Santee. to others seeking care services.”

“My son Perry has been attending G&S for over two and half years. When we toured the school we were immediately delighted by the cleanliness, the upbeat attitude of the employees and the tight protocol of the facilities. We visited four other preschools and they definitely stood out as the right choice for us.The school is amazing! They made potty training super easy. I really felt I only supported their efforts. I really appreciated this, especially being a first time mom. I otherwise didn’t know how to navigate this.I also appreciate the healthy eating Food program the school participants in. Not having to supply our own breakfast, lunch and snacks is one less thing I have to worry about and is awesome.Their curriculum is exceptional. I am always excited to see the pile of art projects my son proudly brings home. They cover letters, numbers, shapes and Spanish! It feels good knowing my son will begin school ahead.I am so happy we chose Giggles & Smiles. It was the right choice for my son. I am grateful for the time we’ve had there and for the positive introduction to school. You guys are amazing!!”

“This program is a great alternative to other after school programs that I've used and considered over my 15+ years of being a Santee dad. The newer building has great amenities like a full basketball court gym and many different rooms for kids to quietly study, watch movies or do crafts. Unlike Project SAFE there's plenty of air conditioned building space where my kids don't spend the summers outside drenched in sweat. The yearly membership charge is nominal and they work with the Santee school district to offer bus transportation from school (at a cost directly from the district). There is a bit of 'you get what you pay for' with thin offerings of administration and old school paper enrollment. YMCA and Project SAFE charge thousands of more per year for similar after school and summer school programs so I'm fine with the trade-off. Regardless, my kids really like the staff, their time there and are excited to go after school. The Boys and Girls Club of Santee hold the safety of the kids paramount with their policies and practice.”

“My son has been with East County Preschool (The Village Preschool) since he was 2, he's now almost 5. I cannot say enough positive affirmation(s) for these hard working , ever so patient, lovely souls. My son can be difficult at times and he is poured upon with Love and understanding. He has grown so much this past year. A special thank you to Miss Kim, Preschool Director...you've been such a positive instrument throughout this process... and Miss Laia...you had Micah at his worst... I just love you...I miss your hugs during the hard toddler times... and all of those that participated in his growth throughout the last 3 years...I thank you whole heartedly. God Bless.”

“Update: I have to update my review to give kudos to the staff at Little Learners, after two years of all the craziness that is going on. My son is thriving! He has continued to grow and learn, not just school skills, but life skills as well. Even with all the additional stressors the staff has to deal with, the priority is still the kids. And it shows! 10 out of 10 recommend this school!!”

“I recommend this daycare for your kids if they are under 2. My son started with Ms. Andrea at 8 months old. She is one of the best teachers we had there. You can tell she really loves her job and cares about the kids so much. Even when my son moved up to the other classrooms, he would stop by to see the babies and say hi to her. My son loved going to school here. They have delicious food (breakfast, lunch, and snack) all cooked and served by their in-house chef, Ms. Maria. Honestly, I think they helped expand my son's palate more than I could have done at home. They got to play outside a lot, even as infants. They do a lot of arts and crafts and music and dancing. I loved seeing updates on the app throughout the day. It' a great program for the most part. The reason I can't give a 5 star review is because my son was the target of a biter in his class. He would come home with bite marks fairly often once he moved into the Toddler classroom (16mo-24mo). I feel like supervision started lacking in this room and he wasn't getting as much attention as before. The classroom was really cool with a little play structure inside, but I think it was a lot of 'free play time' for the most part. I knew it was time to leave when my son turned 2 years old, because the ratio goes from 1:6 to 1:12 with twice as many students. The opening room has a lot of older kids and it was too chaotic during drop offs. Sadly, we had to leave our friends and teachers behind for another daycare setting.”

“I drove from Spring Valley to this High School for a water polo game. The High school is so nice I was almost jealous. My daughter plays water polo. The pool was equipped with bleachers, snack bar, and visiting team locker rooms. They really take thier sports seriously because the soccer field was all blue and white, with a running track around it. Of course there were bleachers.. this school is the whole package. They even have a Janitor who lives in a nicer house than I do. Well not really but pretty close. He lives just across from the soccer field, and pool. Senior parking lot is so nice most of the stalls are painted or decorated. I think it was a promo fundraiser it was really nice. Thanks West Hills for such a great experience.”
