Karoomis was my go to for my oil changes, so I sent my son there when he was looking to buy a car and have it inspected. A very quick inspection was done, but I didn’t think anything of it, because I trusted Karoomis. Turns out there was more wrong with the truck than what was stated. My son did go there to have some of the things fixed, like the brakes. He just had an issue with oil coming out onto one tire. He brought it in to have it checked out since it was believed to be the brakes, and those were still in warranty, and because the family’s mechanic was busy at the time. They said it was brake fluid leaking and told him what he needed. My son was able to get in to see the other mechanic a couple of days later, and he said that Karoomis definitely didn’t even take the wheels off in order to properly inspect the issue, and that if they had, they would have seen what was really wrong. I said that there was no way they didn’t take the tires off and do a proper inspection, so my son called on speakerphone and asked if they had taken the tires off. Sure enough, the man who saw my son said he didn’t and that he could tell just by looking at it. Even though my son has a warranty, he didn’t feel safe bringing his truck back there and it looks like he’s going to have to pay, just to have fixed what should have been inspected and properly done in the first place. I’ve told so many people about Karoomis, but I regret that now. Mistakes with brakes can have huge consequences, and this is my kid we are talking about. Yikes.

This mechanic provided a truly disappointing experience. Despite charging me around $500 for a supposed fix to my oil leak and engine issues, I ended up visiting the shop six times with the same problems persisting. Each time, they promised to rectify the issues, but I was constantly met with additional charges without any resolution. It's clear they took advantage of my lack of automotive knowledge, as a young female, and I ended up spending over $3000 without any real fixes. I'm currently pursuing action with the Better Business Bureau. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. Consider yourself warned of this place.
Later Update: I followed the instructions provided in their response below and emailed them immediately. It has now been a couple of weeks without any reply. It appears they are not interested in resolving their mistake or issuing a refund despite acknowledging the issue.

I brought my car here for an ongoing issue. They told me they could fix it and got to work. They called two days later and said it was fixed. I didn’t even make it back home, because it broke down for the same reason. WORST mechanic ever, and they don’t fix their mistakes.

You won't find a better shop! Adam and his team are the most honest and skilled auto mechanics I have worked with. They are not afraid of a challenge and will never give up on your car. They always work with the customer to give you the most affordable and quality options they can. No surprises. I took my Volvo there for about two years until I moved out of the area and I still recommend them to friends!

Karoomi's came highly recomended by a friend of mine and they did not disappoint! Customer service is on point and they are truly an establishment that I can trust. The services I received were efficient and the pricing was incredibly fair. Their thorough attention to detail is what found a couple of ither issues with my car and I cannot thank them enough for their outstanding services. They also offer a shuttle service whichmakes it easy for me to drop my car off before work. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

Been with these guys for almost 10 years now. Straightforward owner, solid parts price, most importantly to me incredible communication... I am that nosy customer that will look over the mechanics work afterwards. Every mechanic from Karoomi's that has touched one of my own/friends/families vehicles has a high standard of quality and it shows every time I leave their shop.

Communication wasn't the best at first, but they corrected that. They included a warranty on their work and even gave me a discount for the communication issue. I'd recommend giving them a try.

I took my car there in the morning and they were able to diagnose and fix it in a few hours. They also recommended many things my car needs and offered 1/2 the price for what I normally pay for an oil change. I was not sure where to take my car and took a chance based on reviews, so if your looking for a recommendation- take your car here. My car is running great now and Im very happy with their service and honesty.

Excellent service and next door smog service very efficient as well. I had a tow truck driver damage my car while dropping off another vehicle in their lot, I mistook the driver as a mechanic technician, and unfortunately left an inaccurate review. The owner promptly contacted me and clarified the situation. He was very transparent, and was willing to go out of his way to ensure that I was satisfied with any services that I received. They seem like all good gentlemen over there.

Alternator died in the morning called them to see if I could get my car in and fixed before school pick up. They said no problem. They even were able to take me home and pick me up so I didn’t have to wait around. Everyone at Karoomi’s was super nice and helpful. Adam and George are absolutely very helpful and friendly mechanics. I am grateful to have found them. I've been getting my 2 cars fixed and Maintenenced there for a while now. They will sometimes help work out a payment plan with me. I highly recommend these guys! They will not scam you or overcharge like the dealerships.
