Same car , second time in 12 years they ruined my stud & bolt.
Just because the carelessness & negligence of the technician when they put the bolt back together by using the “impact wrench”
The first time ,Costco tire department was nice enough to admit their mistake and asked me to take the car to mechanic and paid for it ($50).
Now they blamed old stud & bolt, it costs me parts labor, almost $100 this time .
45 years of driving, many times removed and installed tires in and out , only Costco causing problem like this .
I hope , managements have Meeting , and let the technicians know so they could be more cautious to save time & money for customers .

I showed up as first walk-in for tires rotation, manager Logan said there were 3 appointments booked for same time so he has to work on those 3 appointments. However there are four bays in that tire center 3 bays reserve for appointment and 1 bay for walk-in, I was the first walk-in at 9:30am and I didn't get my car until 12:17pm, after I came back at 11:00am and my car was in parking, manage said he will have my car in 30 min. I made a complaint to warehouse manager, Andrew, hope this doesn't happen again. Very poor management at this Costco Tire Center.

Called ahead of time and spoke to a man named Mario. He had great customer service skills and answered all of my questions with enthusiasm! He took his time to help me weigh out my best options when most people would act like I'm asking for their social security number. Thanks santee tire center and thanks Mario!

Super helpful employees. Answered all of my questions nicely. Got my tires ordered in person and they shipped in about 3 days made an appointment over the phone and it was done in less than 2 hours. Super easy and pleasant experience.

There were so many sussy impostors here venting through the floor, I got chased by a duck with a knife in its mouth, and there were flying demon cowboys waiting for me outside. Can anyone help me figure out why this happened to me? Terrible experiences.

Seriously, this Santee Costco Tire place is a scam do not buy your tires here, in the long run, IMO you will replace them more often than normal! They will not prorate tires for premature tire wear. We have two cars, two years ago we bought two full sets est. $1,000 per car. I believe tires are rated for 70,000 miles. They barely last 25,000 before prematurely wearing out. We always take our cars to the dealership for oil changes, they always check the tires. Additionally, we have automatic tire pressure sensors and ensure the tires are always properly inflated. Secondly, we have receipts of the tires being aligned and working in excellent condition. Like clockwork,we get the tires rotated at Costco regularly but yet they denied any type of warranty. The tires they sell here tend to wear it out much faster than other places. And when the tire fails to meet the minimum warranty requirements, they will not prorate them. They deflect responsibility by blaming the driver for negligent driving, under inflation, wheel, alignment, problems, etc. they just make up excuses so that they do not have to warranty the tires. When in fact we have records proving this car was perfectly maintained but they ignore the facts. What they say when they sell you the tires is a whole lot different from when you actually need their support, it seems the hard and fast rule is that they will not prorate the tires for early premature wear.

Never come here for tire service. I had appointment for a tire installation and they need 2 hours and 45 mins to complete the job. And another time i came here for a tire repair. They denied to repair my flat tire. They said something like that not safety. They always want you spend the most money for service. Look like they don’t care about customer.

Sus service. I was told to get my alignment completed before receiving my new set of tires. Then when I went to get an alignment the mechanic I spoke too diagnosed an issue I was having with my vehicle and said that it was best to get an alignment after getting your new tires on. I was kind of puzzled by this so I asked a friend and google this same question. They both said to wait till after an alignment and just to be sure I called ahead to Costco tires center in Santee. I asked the person who answered the phone when should I get my alignment done he responded after the new tires are put on. This didn't add up and made me feel like I was being taken advantage when I purchased my tires previously. So I asked for a refund and had to go in store to get that done. The cashier had no rebuttal about my reason for refunding my order. Did the refund promptly. I don't know if the person who checked me out had not been trained properly or was playing a game with me. Needless too say I have my money and discount tire knocked it out for a cheaper price. In only 45 mins I had a new set of tires on my vehicle that same day.

There has got to be a better way to drop off and pick up cars if paying online . I had everything payed and waited 30 minutes to drop off keys and another 30 minutes just to pick up keys
