It’s a pretty solid place to work out. Machines are cleaner now than they used to be. They have sanitation stations and crew cleans the floors and machines when not in use.

Thank you Maddie @ Santee 24hr Fitness, your hospitality was awesome! Don't have gyms like this where I live in rural Montana so was a great workout! I'll definitely come back when I visit!

The place is alright... equipment works fine some looks worn out but the reason for the 2 stars us the steam room... it always looks dirty and it's got some stains that look like mold... just hook us up with some soap and bleach to clean the steam room ...

Members keep asking staff to lower the thermostat setting, but we keep being told they dont have control over it, or they have to call somebody. The point is, it's too warm and stuffy inside and especially now that its hot outside, something needs to be done by somebody who has control to change the temperature setting. After being told somebody would be called to change tge temp setting, I went in the next day, and it's still too warm & stuffy. It's fine in the locker room, but on the workout floor, with people exercising, the a/c isnt set low enough to keep the temperature at even 73 or 74 degrees. The temperature inside is way over that. They MIGHT be setting it for 74, but in order for it to be 74 inside, it needs to be set lower than that. We pay our monthly dues to have a comfortable place to work out, and despite numerous complaints, staff are refusing to bring the a/c temp down.

Pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and quality of equipment! Be warned, though, that this might not be the best location for folks sensitive to "strong political opinions"

Closes way too early "24 hour fitness"

Why is this place allowed to continue with the name "24Hour Fitness"? It's NO LONGER open for 24 hours, it's now false advertisement. I pay for 24 hours of fitness and 24 hour access to a gym..Monthly payments should be cheaper due to not being open for 24 hours anymore which is a contradiction to what is advertised to the public. This is an inconvenience.... It should be called 12Hour Fitness or 10Hour Fitness.

Where should I start? From the moment of walking inside the cardio class, today was extremely amazing. Everyone was so helpful. Our instructor Diana was so helpful and fun and gave instructions very well. She waited on everyone and made it very fun and comfortable. Easy, fun, and well worth every penny. I will return every Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am at Mission Gorge Core Cardio and more class.
Apart from the classes, my husband and I were hesitant to attend any gym due to nasty rumors. However, we decided to join 24 Fitness, and we love it. Every machine works great with so many options. There's sanitizer spray and paper towels on every corner, and the pool gets cleaned twice a week. Everyone is helpful and friendly. You become a family after going often. All it takes is to show up to meet some fitness goals.

Been a member since 18 and nothing changes.. 40% of stair climber and cardio machines are not working or in poor working order. Stuff as simple as house keeping..paver towels and machine cleaning supplies are always out. The machines look like they never get properly cleaned by staff. Stuff caked in hard to reach areas. Where does our long membership fees go??

I been coming to this Gym for more than a year. Honestly I don't like it so much, it feels a bit dirty, but i don't have the money to pay for a deluxe gym, and going to the gym it's important enough. I guess you get what you pay for. Also dudes should not be taking their shirts off in the gym, it's vulgar. Maybe in the sauna (at the most).

I almost got in a fight in the sauna/pool area because two guys moved my stuff out of their way so they could set their backpacks down on the bench. I told him that’s where I’m sitting and that the benches are for people to sit down on not to store your backpacks, and they got very defensive and very aggressive. The three of us squared off right next to the pool when somebody ran to get the manager. The manager was absolutely no help and just said let’s just squash this right now. That’s literally all he did or said. I told him that I have worked for the El Cajon 24 hour fitness and the Chula Vista 24 hour fitness and this kind of behavior never happened. No bags on the floor and people use their lockers and the hooks to hang up their towels. I went and checked out the YMCA yesterday, and they have a perfect system for towels and backpacks. I’m going to go and use a free pass for chuze fitness today. 24 hour fitness isn’t what it used to be. Not well run overcrowded, and everybody thinks it’s their own personal gym :-(.
