1553 Meadowvale Rd, Santa YnezEveryone at the Ruff Ranch is so kind and genuinely loves dogs. I have used many doggy day cares over the years and this is the only one that my dog happily runs into. All the staff greet him by name and remember him (even when he hasn't been there in weeks). I love that they take the time to get to know your dog and their temperament and gently introduce them into the right play yards and don't overwhelm them. It is also the only place I have felt comfortable boarding our dog, especially since I know they get lots of playtime and and attention.

3640 Sagunto St, Santa YnezThere are so many amazing things to say about Ellie’s Tap & Vine. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere was elegant and enjoyable and the service was phenomenal.
There wasn’t a bad bite that we took all night, starting with their fresh caprese salad to the entrees of the staff favorite chicken and crab cake to the amazing bread pudding dessert.
It’s truly worth a visit!

The staff were very professional and the service was exemplary! Enjoyed that the Owner/Manager came over to insure we were enjoying ourselves and our meals! This place is worth going out of your way to have a lunch or a dinner.

We had an amazing time sampling 6 different wines and had the opportunity to try 3 samples of the same wine from different years. We could all tell just how passionate Ross was about his wine and how knowledgeable he was. We all had a good time and learned more than we were expecting.

We didn’t have a reservation but they received us very kindly, we sat at the bar and had a tasting that the attendant, Carolina if I’m not wrong, served us and made some changes taking in consideration what we like. The only thing I would say is that the charcuterie and cheese plate is very small for the price, but all the rest were really nice.

The Victor Restaurant and Bar
3631 Sagunto St, Santa YnezThis was one of the top ten meals I've had in my life. The Victor has a relaxed vibe with first class service. The interior is simple yet elegant. They have a fantastic patio but, as it was a bit chilly the night we came, we opted to eat inside. I started with a glass of Niner Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles (and had a second later on). A small bowl of assorted olives was placed on our table to enjoy. We started with a plate of grilled olive bread which was presented with brown butter with smoked sea salt. I could have eaten a tall stack of this bread. But then I wouldn't have had room for my main course. My roasted pork chop was so tender and full of flavor. It was topped with a fruit relish (which included peaches) and sat on top of the most amazing polenta on the face of the earth; crisp on the outside and silky soft inside. Green beans were also on the plate, complementing the rest of the meal. I realize that my feeble words could never convey how amazing this plate of food was. Yes, we got dessert, sharing a pavlova. I'd never had this but the description by our waiter convinced us to try it and I am so happy we did. A delicate yet crisp lower crust was topped with a layer of pillowy soft marshmallow and berries. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. This is a place for a nice night out. It wasn't cheap yet I found it to be very reasonable. We decided this was a restaurant we would definitely visit every single time we are anywhere near Santa Ynez.
