The Ruff Ranch
1553 Meadowvale Rd, Santa YnezEveryone at the Ruff Ranch is so kind and genuinely loves dogs. I have used many doggy day cares over the years and this is the only one that my dog happily runs into. All the staff greet him by name and remember him (even when he hasn't been there in weeks). I love that they take the time to get to know your dog and their temperament and gently introduce them into the right play yards and don't overwhelm them. It is also the only place I have felt comfortable boarding our dog, especially since I know they get lots of playtime and and attention.

Because we're members, we get free wine tastings. Every type of wine they make is absolutely delicious ! Toss, the winemaker is able to keep his prices super low compared to the prices of other delicious bottles at other wineries in the area. The wine tasting room is unpretentious located on a street in Buellton with a few other tasting rooms. It's just a small tasting room and patio. Nothing else is needed because the wine is so delicious.

3010 Roblar Ave, Santa YnezWe had reservations for our friends bachelorette party and were sat inside. The atmosphere was nice and it was poppin on a Friday around lunchtime. We had the wine tasting (which was pretty good) alongside salad and charcuterie board. The staff was kind, atmosphere nice, and if we had more time and if it wasn't raining would've love to have checked the outside a bit more but all in all- I enjoyed it!

Gainey Estate Vineyards & Tasting Room
3950 CA-246, Santa YnezHad a great tasting experience sitting outside at Gainey Winery on a mellow Wednesday around noon. The pace was casual and perfect for us since we weren't in a rush. Ray took great care of us - he explained the wine profiles really well and was super helpful and accommodating. One cool option is that if you're in a rush or just want a single wine, they can pour you a glass instead of doing the full tasting, which I thought was a nice option. They also have food options, we loved the charcuterie board. The property itself is beautiful and scenic - one of those spots that really reminds you how great California wine country is, especially in the Santa Ynez area. Solvang is also just a quick drive from the winery. I enjoyed it so much I ended up signing up for the wine club. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

1110 Faraday St, Santa YnezWe had the most wonderful experience last Friday dining here! Our server was S'rae, and she was absolutely phenomenal! I was with my family and we were a larger party size. I had the fabulous mushroom pasta and a lovely glass of rose. We also had some delicious apps (artichoke and the Burrata). We were so beyond pleased with our server, the food, the ambiance...basically EVERYTHING was amazing!

The bacon was thick cut and perfectly cooked! And the breve latte was delicious with homemade half-and-half! A carrot muffin was moist and delicious with a walnut in every bite! We will definitely be back!!!

I popped in today for a little thank you gift for our hosts and not only did I find some fun treats but they put them into a beautiful basket for me above and beyond. We love this gem and will be back!

3687 Sagunto St, Santa YnezGrappolo in Santa Ynez is a true gem. The food is amazing — bar none, the best ravioli we have ever had. The special pumpkin ravioli was out of this world — we can’t stop talking about it and will probably be dreaming about this dish for the next week. You have to try it! We also had the lemon caper sole, which was equally delicious and perfectly prepared. As self-proclaimed foodies, our expectations were high, but Grapolo far exceeded every one of them. Our server Eric made the evening even more memorable with his warm and attentive service. The quaint ambiance transported us straight to Tuscany — it felt like dining at a family-run hillside restaurant, authentic and second to none. We will absolutely be back — no matter what. Grapolo is a must-visit in Santa Ynez!
