The owner or woman that works this store is either extremely unpleasant, racist or both. When I visited the first time, I thought that it was just a bad day, but after my second visit, it seems to be her standing attitude. While she is catering to any of the middle-aged white women that enter, she seemed to want to run me out the minute I walked in the store. She didn't bother to check the back for the item I wanted and just completely shut down for anything else I asked about even though I was pretty eager to shop. At one point, she suggested that I might find less expensive items at another store. Ironic considering my shoes alone were more expensive than anything there.

Favour is a boutique that sells clothing, jewelry, sunglasses, and a select variety of things for your home. The thing that makes Favour my favorite boutique to shop at when in Santa Ynez, is the quality of the products they sell. I saw t-shirts that were not just a typical t-shirt but the kind of t-shirts that were made to last that you can dress up, as well as, wear any day. The thing is, I saw items that I had seen online but you just cannot find at a physical bricks and mortar type of store. Everything they sell is beautiful as well as made to last. I bought this gorgeous acetate comb along with a matching hair clip in blue and white made in Italy. The comb & clip was definitely beautiful and has that European quality that is not available in more mainstream stores in bigger cities, but it was also very functional and helpful with my high maintenance hair! Also, found and bought those Turkish style towels that are combo of linen and cotton (again solid high quality) but the thing I want to point out is that even though a customer can find Turkish towels in many places the ones that were sold/offered at Favour were extra special because the quality of fabric and design is something that is not available at every place but made it clear to me that the buyer(s) at Favour definitely have a keen eye for style and quality. Favour looks like a small boutique from the outside but when you enter this store you will all kinds of goodies that are beautiful, functional and created with made to last quality in mind. Thanks to all the women that helped me find the things I purchased from you all during my stay at SY Valley. You all really helped make my trip so much fun! and now with my new comb and hair clip my hair will look fabulous! ; ) lol ( I laugh but its also true!!)
