If you want to rent a Uhaul don't go here. The rental agent was rude and acted like she was put out by my rental request. Mid-transaction, I asked the agent to cancel my reservation telling her I'd rather go to the Rental Place on College than deal with her rudeness. I usually use the super friendly and helpful Uhaul dealer at the Rental Place on College but was closer to the Uhaul Neighborhood Dealer location so I decided to use them instead. Too bad, what a disappointment. I'll never go there again. RENTAL PLACE/UHAUL COLLEGE AVE, is the place to go.

This place is ridiculous. We reserved a moving van a week ago and were told we could pick it up at 7:30 this morning. They have had one snafu after another. Now it's 8:30 and no closer to getting our truck. Never again!

Do not go here for any parts relating to trailer hitches. If you don't need the part they will refuse to take it back even if in great condition and it's obviously unused. Buy parts anywhere but U haul on Santa Rosa Avenue. You lost a good, long time customer today Uhaul. I'll get what I need from Amazon or online from now on.

This Uhaul dealer is a scam. We traveled 24.2 miles, between Santa Rosa to Windsor and back again and got charged for 74 miles. When we brought this to the man at the counter’s attention, he said they sometimes write in the wrong starting miles into their computer but since we didn’t check the miles before we left, it is our loss. If you decide to take the risk by renting here, double check the miles, before leaving. But I recommend avoiding the risk all together and going somewhere else.

Maskless rude staff, enough said. The place is not marked either. The kind of place where they act as if it's a privilege to do business with them. John 707-217-7721

If I can rate -10 star I would. Showed up on time to pick up my 26" truck . Rep told me there is no truck... WTF? She was calling corporate and email them at the meantime. Finally she told me there is a 15" truck at west college... It really ruin my day because I already scheduled 2 movers starting 10am and I have to pay them don't matter what. My friend dropped me to this place to pick up the truck and now I have no ride to home. A simple email or phone call will resolve this BAD situation. Nothing against the Rep, she was trying her best to resolve the problem.

Arrived to pick up my reservation. When I get through the queue we find out that the previous customer had yet to return the truck I had reserved--not UHaul's fault. I was annoyed and asked why I wasn't notified, one of the more senior employees told me they couldn't notify me because the other customer was supposed to return the same time I arrived. I went outside to wait and went back in after I had thought about it, I then asked the guy whether there was a processing time typically between reservations or do they just let people take their trucks without inspecting between customers? He then changed his answer to "don't you see how busy we are? Due to COVID, wildfires and evictions and blah blah...we didn't have time to call you". Alas, the truth! Haha If the employee would have owned up to that in the first place instead of lying and getting caught I wouldn't have left this review but judging by the stars I don't think anyone cares so I'm probably just howling into the void. My suggestion to future patrons would be to call ahead of your reservation to make sure they actually have your vehicle or else you might end up in an annoying situation like mine..

I wish I would have read these reviews before I rented from the Kings Tires location. I would have gone down the street to Smith's. Seems that Kings pulls this gas charge on whoever they can get away with it. I rented the truck online, a friend picked it up, loaded it, drove my things to me, then returned the truck to U Haul with gas and clean. U guess that part. I had put my credit card down as the security but when it came to paying they refused to take my cc information the telephone even though I told them they could run it right then. I reviewed the contract and it only says that payment has to be cash or cc..nothing about not taking payment over the telephone or by guarantee from online booking. Further, my friend is Hispanic and the whole attitude was rude and racist. DON'T GO TO U HAUL ON KINGS TIRES U HAUL!!!!!

WOW AND NOT A GOOD WOW! We had reserved a '10 foot truck for pick up at 12 pm. We arrived before pick up time by 10 min. We went in to let person in charge know we were there but said person was not there. We were told by the only person there that said person would be back in 10mins, and that person giving us this message had no idea how to rent out the vehicles. By the time 12:20 pm came around the idiot in charge still was not there. I was livid. So I said F-it we are on a time crunch and cAlled the Uhaul down the street at smiths rental 3650 Santa Rosa ave and I spoke to Omar, explained the situation and he said come on over I have one for you right now. So don't go here kings tires cuz they suck.. go down the street to Omar at smiths rental.

I returned uhaul to santa Rosa California address. It was ok getting truck returned. Then I couldn't get online to call an Uber so I went to desk for help. I was behind another person while 4 clerks were chatting and on cell phones. Finally after a few minutes the older man 40 something said " I can help someone over here". I asked if they could call Uber for me. No, they said that I could use the telephone. But there was no number for Uber , because, they wouldn't get it on internet and I had no service. " No" the clerk's said she couldn't let me have their WiFi connection ..So it's 90+ degrees out and I'm walking up the road a mile or so to get to McDonald's to get WiFi and an Uber, salt in wounds after towing my broke down vehicle from southern California and paying about $800.00 bucks for truck trailer and fuel. Karma is real dude, I hope it changes your mode of rude customer service uhaul of santa rosa on the Ave. Impressive equipment although you were out of boxes that the other customer came in for..
