Seems like a dated and smaller version of the True Value Hardware stores I've been in before. Decent selection. Employees aren't as friendly as at the nearby Ace.

My favorite hardware store! (Just on the expensive side!) The staff if friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! They have so much to make my life easier and richer, even a great garden ( live plant) section! Three cheers and 4 stars!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful enterprise!

OMG! I bought a very expensive flashlight 2 years ago. The gal that worked there said it was "The Best", (so I believed her). It came with a "Lifetime Warranty ". I thought Great! We live in Kenwood area and we were evacuated for 10 days due to fires and power outages, so I thought this would be a flashlight to"Count On!" I am an older woman in my late 60's and thought , well, this should be a good investment! Well, when I needed the flashlight to work, it Didn't. I took it back to the hardware store in Montgomery Village area, and one of the employees stated, "You should definitely get a replacement, OR your money back. there is something wrong with it." The owner Fred Dada , after 5 phone calls, said," You're supposed to check the batteries regularly. They're corroded." Who does this? (The battery had corroded in less than 2 years!) He said He Would NOT replace it or give me a Refund! I WILL NEVER USE THIS HARDWARE STORE AGAIN OR REFER ANYONE HERE!! There are too many hardware stores to spend your money or time at. FRED DADA does Not Deserve to own this franchise!! THEY GET NO STARS!!!

I drive by two other hardware stores to come here. The customer service is unbelievable and they always have exactly what I need. Everything you could ever want in a neighborhood hardware store.

Personal service. Real people who are consistently helpful, knowledgeable. True, they don't have everything under the sun but a lot. Go there whenever you can as we need them! Without them you get HD & Lowe's. Thank

Employees were helpful, gave good advice, and were honest when they couldn't fix something. I appreciate it and will be back with future hardware needs.I don't love the parking lot here, but it is what it is.

We just moved to the area and have been checking out retailers that we can establish a relationship and do business with. I needed a Hack saw, Drill with extra bits, a ladder and some paint. I entered this store this morning and forgot my mask. The old lady behind the counter called me on it and I went back to the car and got. I asked where the hack saw were and she barley gave me the time of day to ID where they were. I walked past the area because of that, but a young man directed me. This woman needs some additional customer training. I won't be back, but whoever owns this True Value outlet needs to inform her that her personally is costing then lost business. Margins are small in that business, thus everything has to be in order. This woman is far from that. 4257 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, CA
