Sonoma Grove, A wonderful assistant living facility where they will take excellent care of your loved one. Sonoma Grove excels in taking care of resident, who need extra care due to cognitive impairment and dementia. Professional caregivers who pay close attention to the patient/residents. It had a beautiful outdoor area with huge green lawn and chickens pecking on the grass. Great country setting. Owner easy to work with. Reasonable priced. They have entertainment such as great live music Ian performers and other activities. If you need help with a loved one, feel confident to check out Sonoma Grove. I give it 5 *.

I have to concur with the negative customer service reviews posted here for the Santa Rosa store. I was in the other day to browse and to pick up an ordered item. I happened to be wearing a Talbot's jacket, tee shirt, and corduroy pants and said so, with a big smile, to the women at the counter only to be met with stony silence and expressionless faces. A couple days later I went back to return the pick-up item (it didn't fit) and found the store wasn't open. Mind you, this was 11 am on the Friday before Christmas; you'd think the store would be open at the posted 10 am hour. No note on the door, no explanation, just closed and dark. Was the whole staff in a tragic accident together, I wondered? I like the clothes, they fit me, and I'll still shop there. I just don't expect anyone to be happy to see me or any customer, for that matter. Maybe the company is horrible to work for and that's why everyone there is crabby. So get new job and stop torturing the customers!

Talbots has a very particular look, sort of "Long Island WASP". I don't tend to go for that look myself, but I do shop there for basics - solid color tees, pants and solid color sweaters. There quality tends to be very high, and their clothes last. You're not going to get cutting-edge style here, but you are going to get high-quality, well-made classic clothes.

My review has nothing to do with the clothes here but with the customer service or lack there of. I recently entered this Santa Rosa store store without any particular need in mind. I was well dressed and often get positive comments on my outfits and can honestly say I can afford a store like this. I was met by immediate dead silence in the store while shopping mid week, A clerk behind the counter did not greet me, or even look up as I perused a rack right next to the counter, bout 3 feet away. Two other clerks were stocking shelves and also did not make eye contact or look up from their tasks as I made my way from the back door all the way through the store to the front. It seemed deliberately cold and I will not be going back here again. I even have a credit here that I will not use.

I had a $30 off coupon so I had to check out the store. I got a pair of black velveteen straight leg pants that will look great with my silver gray velvet jacket.

I ordered 8 items online and paid $8.95 shipping. From what I have received to date, 2 items need to go back for new sizes. I have worn a size 10 pants for years from Talbots but these are more of a size 6. When I called to exchange them, I was told it would cost me another $8.95 to return them and "maybe" they could wave the shipping on the new order. So beware that it is going to cost you $18.00 to try on their clothes and if they don't fit to send them back. I will wait till the entire order arrives and take everything back to the store. I have always been a premium member or whatever they call it when you spend over $1,000 a year. I did not spend that last year due to COVID - seriously did anyone spend $1,000 on clothes in 2020. They make no exceptions and have now lost a me as a customer for life - too many other places to shop. They get an F for customer service.

I have had nothing but good shopping experiences in this store. Classic clothing that never goes out of style, decent sales, nice selection of colors and sizes. its all good! The employees can be aloof, distant, and not interested in ringing up your items at the counter, but I just chock that up to Santa Rosa Snob Entitlement, and I don't let that bother me, I just enjoy the fabulous selection of clothing.
