Sleep number bed was not comfortable but dealing with the company was a horror nightmare We had a sleep number bed 15 years ago and decided to try another one recently.... Big mistake the new beds were not comfortable the app on your phone is the only way to control the bed and mattress gave us lots of problems had a mind of its own... Then the real trouble started dealing with the compafter 2 weeks of pain and suffering in that bed we asked them to return it they said they would not until at least 30 days... So we slept for 2 weeks in a back bedroom on another bed at least it didn't hurt us... When they return delivery people came to pick up the mattress we found out to our horror that the $5000 base was not returnable... They also discovered it was defective some of the wearing during manufacturer had been crushed in the mechanism... They reported this to their supervisors but still they would not repair or return the base... Quick note the delivery persons to pick up the bed were courteous kind and professional they themselves told us how bad it was to work for select comfort having to deal with all the people upset about the return policies and the poor quality.... Additionally they told us that the company is happy to pick up the mattresses because they refurbish them and sell them as new.... Furthermore we discovered that the app On your phone that controls the bed tracks everything you do in the bed everything every motion who's in the bed and what's going on the customer service person relying as this information was very creepy about that information it was scary.... To this day we're still fighting over the return of the base they won't repair or return it the company is terrible the customer service people will lie to you to get you off the phone till you they'll help you and someone will call you back to return the base then nothing happens been going on for months now.... Select comfort needs a massive class action lawsuit to straighten them out hope we can get it going....

My hubby and I came into the Santa Rosa location the weekend before Memorial Day holiday to shop for a new bed. It has been 8 years since our last mattress so we thought it was time for a new one! There was another couple trying on beds. Max introduced himself and he assisted the other couple and us back and forth. He explained what makes them different which is all their beds are controlled by an app or remote so that you can adjust the firmness or softness based on your preference. Prices range from $1200-$10,000 depending on how many foam layers you prefer. The lower the layers, the cheaper the price is but also the lower the layers the firming the bed gets. We got the base model (because I prefer firm beds) and my hubby can adjust how he wants. I like mine at 100 all the time..haha! Plus, throw in a holiday sale, it all worked out!The service I thought was great. Max was not pushy at all. He let us try on all the beds, play with the remotes and really get a feel of what they offer. I think Sleep Number is great compared to alot of other mattress shops, in that it does not have many products. It's all Sleep Number (not like they sell 10 brands and you're lost) beds and all you have decide on is your budget and how many layers you would like on your mattress. Of course, we had to try the fancy $10K bed (just for fun) which blows out cool air and heats you up when you're cold. Plus, it has bird and nature noises to wake you up! When it was time to check out, it was smooth. You choose your delivery date and they do the rest. Max walked us through to set up the Sleep Number app. When I got home, I noticed that Max spelled my last name incorrectly but it was just a small error.The bed delivered on the date and time it was promised and all set up. We were not home so when we got home to set up the Wifi, it would not connect. We spent 2 hours fiddling with the box, restarting and unplugging, troubleshooting, etc. I spent a hour on the phone with Customer Support to also try to fix it. They came to the conclusion that our bed box was defective. Today, 3.5 weeks later since my purchase, Sleep Number came out to replace the box. My hubby was home just to make sure the Wifi works before they left and it does! Very sad how a new box wouldnt work :(I docked a star for that but otherwise, it was a good experience from beginning to end. A store associate also reached out to see how the delivery went and I told her the box issue. She said she would call back to follow up but I never got a follow up call. Definitely room for improvement here and there but overall, I would give my experience 4 stars.

The sleep number bed I have is great but I got financing through Synchrony Bank is a nightmare don't finance with them. I had my account almost paid off never never missed a payment they closed my account which ruined my credit. Again don't buy a bed from Sleep Number with Synchrony Bank credit its scam of some sort. I am not only one who has had this problem don't let them ruin your credit, as they will.

It is so easy to shop sleep number. I sleep better, feel better, and wake up rested and ready for the day to come. I love my bed and can't wait for my new pillow to arrive, then I will have the most perfect sleep I can imagine

In looking for a new adjustable bed, I researched several of the options available. The presentation was good and fair, with many options. I went a different type of bed, but the sales and presentation was good.
