We recently used Bekins Santa Rosa/Schultz Brothers Van & Storage to move my mother from Santa Rosa, California to an assisted living facility in Washington. This was a difficult move for my mom and Bekins was professional, yet personable and patient throughout. Sandi from Bekins met with us, provided us an accurate quote and contact information in case we had questions or we needed anything in the interim. They provided extra boxes and shipping material when we needed it. They arrived in Washington on time and ready to unload. Josh was especially helpful and patient in unloading and unpacking and paying attention to detail. They were thorough in making sure they had done everything they could and that things were cleaned up before they left. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant and professional experience.

We used this company twice recently- once to move out of our 4,000 sq ft home, the next to move our business property. I have a long history working with many types of businesses and I must commend this company on their professionalism, honesty and efficiency. Bravo!

We’ve known since 2008 that Schultz Brothers Bekins go above and beyond, but our latest moves with them have been outstanding. They are responsive, respectful of our possessions, and friendly from top to bottom. Each move we've had with them has been a great experience. We just want everyone at Schultz Bros. to know that we appreciate all the excellent service and reasonable prices they've given us. Wouldn't move without 'em!

I needed a rather large 1000 pound item moved. They returned my call within minutes and scheduled for the next day. The team was friendly, had a great attitude, and worked very efficiently. The on time pickup and move made this an amazing experience. Pricing great also. Highly recommend!

From the first phone call to the in person quote, the loading, transportation, unloading- every thing was absolutely incredible. We moved from Santa Rosa CA to Cincinnati Ohio on 9/23/22. (2400miles) We chose Bekins because they had the best quote for what we wanted and it took only 7 days for us to get our things! Our truck left 9/23 and was delivered 10/1. Everyone else told me it would be 8-10 business days…. we were not disappointed. They took all the stress out of moving. They were upfront about everything. The loading/unloading crews were amazing. Our driver was the best. He kept in contact with us the whole time. The corporate office called me before he showed up in CA, after our truck left, the day before he arrived in Ohio and the day after they unloaded into our new house to make sure everything was going as planned. And The girls in the Santa Rosa office were so kind. They answered every single one of my 97 questions without being annoyed. I had NO damages to any items. I honestly couldn’t even believe the care they took on the smallest least fragile items. (I packed my own boxes, but they wrapped our furniture and beds and appliances, and misc items and loaded and unloaded for us), If you’re even considering moving, in town, out of town or cross country- I would 100% use them again. I was beyond stressed to move across country and hiring Bekins was the best choice I made. I will never use another company it was worth every Penny. So grateful to Sandie and Rachel and everyone at Bekins in Santa Rosa who made my move stress free and honestly the best moving experience I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend.

We hired them to move our office just a few miles from our current location. Sandi was great to work with, offered a competitive price, and had no issues when we needed to change the date of our move. The guys were great to deal with, friendly and had no issues when we asked them to move some items a couple of different times. We would definitely use them again!

This summer on June 14, 2022 began my moving journey from Santa Rosa, CA to Dallas, TX. Sandi was the estimator/contact person in the Santa Rosa office. She was professional, thorough and I knew I was in good hands. The packing/loading team was JOSH L., VINNIE and KENNY. They were amazing!! THANK YOU GUYS!! The delivery estimate was 3 weeks, but the next team was there in 1 1/2 weeks, and the final bill came in at $3,000 under the estimate!! The delivery team was RUBEN, ANGEL and TONY. Thank you guys!! Schultz/Bekins is pricey but it was totally worth it. I know of people who have been scammed and their belongings damaged or never delivered just to save a few thousand dollars; however, I had great peace of mind, I received everything well and intact, and they were early and they took great care of my items. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

We recently completed a move from the Los Angeles area up to Sonoma County. I just can't put into words how thoroughly amazing the team at Schultz Bothers made our move. From Sandi in the office who went above and beyond to make it all work seamlessly...oh yes, we had to change dates for pick up, then we had to complicate the delivery as our new place wasn't quite ready. Sandi handled every hiccup (and they were all hiccups on our end) with grace and humor. Then there's the moving team. If there was ever anyone who personified a can-do attitude, it would be Vidal. He took EXCEPTIONAL care of all our belongings. Always in great spirits, he took every bit of stress and concern out of the move and handled every single nuance with such professionalism, expertise, and made this move go more smoothly and easily than I could have ever imagined. Helpful? Oh yes. And the rest of his team (shout out to Vinny and Sean!) was equally as magnificent as can be. In fact, every single person who was part of our move team delivered service that was impeccable in every single way. I don't know if we'll ever move again, but if we do, these are the only guys I'd ever call. Yeah, that good.

Schultz Brothers brought a crew of four to move our 2200 sq ft house—most of which was packed and organized awaiting their arrival. They were so efficient and professional. I sat watching Simon wrap my most precious items and handle them with such care and respect! I was amazed and so appreciative, particularly with the handling of our antiques. Sean managed the process with courtesy and efficiency. They finished in half a day and the van headed safely into storage at their facility. Overall excellent experience. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

A truly terrible experience on a cross country move. The estimator lied by omission, not telling us that drivers were scarce. All our household goods were stored at Schultz's warehouse for weeks before they were able to find a driver. They were delivered to our new home more than two weeks after the last date of the ten day window they promised us. We had to stay in a hotel and eat in restaurants for the whole period, for which we were reimbursed a miserly $1500. During the wait both Schultz Bros and Bekins national were erratic in keeping us informed of the situation. When our goods finally arrived the driver did not have enough helpers and it took him from 9 in the morning until 1 in the morning (16 hours) . Extensive damage was done to newly finished floors and newly painted walls, and numerous piece of furniture had parts broken off. They also lost a number of items. Since the inventory process was totally confused on both ends, Benkins claims that both were delivered and refused to pay for them. They did reimburse us for the broken items (it's hard to argue with photographs). This is the kind of crappy move you would expect from a local fly-by-night, not a major national firm charging top dollar. I don't know if other national firms would be better, but it's hard to imagine they would be worse. Avid Schultz Brothers in Santa Rosa.

**I increased the stars because after writing my review, they made good on their word. My initital review was truthful so I've kept it below with a few edits (names, details) We moved 2 months ago from Sonoma to Oakmont. The movers packed everything well using blankets and wraps so at the end of the truck load up, we asked them to go ahead and take two stand up lamps we were planning on taking ourselves. Instead of packing them nicely, they basically threw them in the back of the truck with barely a blanket. Sure enough, they managed to break the turn keys on BOTH lamps to switch them on and off. After taking pictures & submitting my claim form, they said they had to come and inspect the lamps. I said fine, a nice man came. He said the key for the antique lamp could be replaced. It would only take a couple days and he would order 2 sizes to be sure one fit (they were a couple bucks apiece). Excellent! That only left the other lamp which could not be repaired because it was broken in 2 places. After being told I would get 60 cents a pound because I didn't purchase the "Additional Insurance" beyond what was included with the move, the claims person was finally agreeable to $150. After multiple follow up calls, emails where I was assured a check and the keys were coming, and still nothing for weeks! I finally decided to review them because I've played nice for 2 months now for a stupid key and $150.
