Did a great job on my 94 Mustang GT.Drained and flushed the automatic transmission.Added oil modifier and cured the shudder I was experiencing.

Their prices are very expensive and they don't do the job. I went to change the transmission oil and a few days later I went to another place to change the engine oil and they checked the transmission and it turns out that they did not change the oil in the transmission.

Cannot recommend Greg and his team enough. I have an old truck and it has been to 4 different garages over the past few years. Having an older car that all of a sudden needed some work done and not knowing where to go, I guess I'm a fool for going off of a local business with great Yelp reviews. This place charged me over $500 for one hours work. Car was towed there at 9:30, got the call that it was done by 10:30. I even had the piece that needed to be replaced, purchased from O'Reillys. And to top it off my car sounded worse after it was so called repaired. My fault for not getting some type of estimate in writing, but I heard a sob story on how short staffed he was and it's only him there. I will never ever ever go back to this place ever ever again. Being a long time Santa Rosa resident, I am so bummed out and lost $500 cause of this horribleExperience.

Roman's Transmission Service was recommended to me by a friend in the classic car club I am a member of. I have a 1964 Pontiac Bonneville which had the original Hydramatic transmission in it. This was a complicated, less than reliable transmission even when new back in the late 50's and early 60's. It finally went out on me. There were only a few transmission techs around the country that would even try to rebuild these as parts and knowledge were long gone. Greg has converted many of these old transmissions to more current modern reliable ones. Reliability was what I was looking for. Greg suggested a conversion to a GM 700R4 overdrive transmission. The conversion is not an easy one, due to the starter being attached to the old Hydramatic as well as linkage and bolt patterns. Greg is a master technician and was able to complete this conversion with outstanding results. Driving this car is like night and day. No more "clunks" between gear changes usually experienced with the Hydramatics, and driving on the highway with the overdrive gear has nicely improved my MPG. I highly recommend Greg and his transmission shop. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.
