Jaycob in tents and backpacks knew exactly what I needed and carried weight to make sure I got the right tent. Amy, no clue where you came from but thank you for the wisdom. Finally, Arturo . . . That mane . . . hell yeah brother.

Great as usual, they have a fantastic selection of outdoor gear. The gentleman that helped us had a wealth of knowledge, and a lifetime of experience..As a member I appreciate how well I am always treated at REI. 🙏

Good selection and knowledgeable staff. An older gentleman sold me a black diamond headlamp. It's REI, so very corporate but the staff I talked to seemed like they were enjoying working there. No complaints but there are probably better Outdoors shops in the area. I just went here because they were open and I knew they would have what I needed

I will not shop at REI, Santa Rosa any longer! I am appalled after been followed and hustled out of the store because I had my dog with me. I have NEVER had such an experience at not only REI or any of the sports-type stores, never. I am a long-time member and this experience not only embarrassed me, it was unnecessary (my dog barked a little yip a few times because he was excited, but was he aggressive in any way, NO).. so hey, no problem, I'll just consistently take my business to Sports Basement, where we ARE welcome!!

Was looking at camping stuff in the corner of the store, 30 ish year old worker comes out in plain clothes spying on me through the shelves. Clearly trying to pass as a customer attempting to catch me stealing? (He put his vest on later and was the one that rang me up). As a long time REI member I felt disrespected and embarrassed. I get it if this store has an issue with unhoused individuals stealing tents and camping equipment, but I’m not sure why they would target me as an individual who would do that. Also, perhaps you should consider moving camping equipment from the most Ill-lit, least supervised section of the store— which is also closest to the exit.
On the other hand, Bruce in backpacking/camping is great. Be like Bruce. Not the other guy.
