I'm joining the one star reviews: Here's my story: I went in feeling fairly certain that I would buy cabinets here because I had them in my old house and had been happy with them. That is, until I had email communications for one day with Amber, the owner of the business.
I sent my measurements and received a long listed invoice as a quote and couldn't really tell if the list included all the components I was looking for. Since we never had a conversation about what I wanted, I considered the quote a vague estimation and found it only vaguely useful or comparison purposes. So I asked for a picture of the design that was being quoted. I was then told that would cost $100 to see a picture. My response was to question why I needed to pay for an accurate quote to ensure I was looking at the right pricing. I was told I needed to pay for their design services and that all of their competitors charge for this. In fact, their price is reasonable in comparison. I was not convinced there was a good reason to pay any money at that point as I was still comparing prices and not ready to commit to a purchase. I told her I would proceed with the vague (vague because i wasn't sure if i was looking at the design that I had in mind) pricing that I had and would be in contact if I was still interested. Amber then insisted multiple times that I had been given an accurate quote, even though she admitted it didn't include one of the cabinets I was looking for. She said if I wanted to see additional design options, I would need to pay. To determine accuracy, she told me I could count the items on the list. That was a little shocking. Still, at that point, I hadn't given up on purchasing from them but I continued to receive emails telling me that the information was clearly provided and that she did not know how to make it more clear. I told her that "a picture paints 1000 words". She reiterated that she didn't know how she could make it more clear and insisted that I had an accurate quote. This conversation escalated throughout the day. I was responding very honestly, admittedly a bit sarcastically, but not rudely. I could have let it go early on with the possibility of coming back later but Amber kept coming back defending her stance. If Amber cared about her business and her customers, she would have de-escalated and dropped the argument early on but she continued to the point where I had to ask if she wanted my business. She then told me to take my business elsewhere!! Just Wow!! I certainly will take my business elsewhere. I know there is someone that will be happy to take my 10K plus dollars and also treat me with courtesy and respect! My conclusion, beware of the hostile business owner!

Quartz stains easy, installers left fingerprints and they will not come out, tried everything the interweb states to use that's safe. Maybe a more expensive place has a better sealed or polished product. Should have kept the grainy as we never had issues.

Great prices and quick install, the install guy or delivery sure beats up the cabinets and patch it with caulking, you won’t notice until a week later when it gets dusty….Check after the install and delivery, run your fingers on all edges….Also when only one guy shows up to install it’s kinda a sign they will get beat up as it’s really a 2 man job to install tops and bottoms.

I am a retired cabinetmaker and I just got a small kitchen drawer cabinet from these guys. The price is right for a shoddy to mediocre cabinet but, guess what, this was a first class job. The materials were high quality , the hardware was high quality and the workmanship was right on. I'm glad I found this company.

I walked in and no one introduced themselves to me. Then when they did they didn't even give their name. I mean first impressions are everything. Not even a thank you for coming in. Maybe no one else was in there for a reason. I upped my 1 star to 2 stars because at least the place looked clean and organized.

Was looking for a 48" bathroom vanity. Went to Home Depot and Lowe's and Friedman's but not too many floor samples that I could actually view. So QDC on Yelp snd decided to pop in. They were pretty busy but a girl came out of her office and asked if she can help me. She explained that they would actually build a vanity for me. She printed out a option that included vanity and top. She explained theirs are made from wood snd not composite. She was very knowledgeable. I felt based on the quality price was good. I wish I'd gotten her name. I'm holding off right now due to personal stuff going on but in the future I would definitely go back to this establishment. And definitely recommend based on customer service I received.

Not quality product or installation. Our cabinets came with touch up paint because of all the flaws! The installer made a mistake and came back to mickey mouse the job more. Had less than a year and screws are coming out and a draw doesn't work anymore. Installer isn't educated on trim or alignment. No warranty so we are stuck with what we got. The counters are okay but plywood is under our overhang for the bar...Hope my legs don't get splinters

I am writing this review because I need to express the lack of communication and professionalism with this company. Quality Discount Cabinets is anything but that. I just moved back to my home in Coffey park after it was rebuilt and inquired about installing some shelving in my closets and garage. The woman who came out initially was wonderfully helpful, thorough, and answered my questions without any issues. I excitedly concluded that this company fit my needs and called a few days later to reach the original estimator to go over the invoice and start dates for the installation. Come to find out, she had quit without notice, and the receptionist was unable to find my invoice, or recommend a replacement estimator. a few days later, I received a phone call from a new representative who took over my file. I decided not to go through with the closet shelving installation and ordered some new cabinet doors for my kitchen. ALthough she was thorough and attentive, the cabinet doors that were ordered we're the wrong size. In my effort to contact QDC and reach my estimator, come to find out she was no longer working for this company! in conclusion, I highly recommend anyone who is searching for shelving or new cabinets to hire anyone else but this establishment. The lack of communication and turnover was stress I didnt need to deal with while moving back into my new home. I suggest any individuals looking to hire a company for new cabinets to go with P&Y Kitchen Cabinets and Stones on Cleveland. They fit all my needs meticulously.

I have to start this post by mentioning this place is at least trying. They have someone's daughter "trying to help you" but she doesn't know if certain items are available, costing, colors, delivery fees, etc. By the time her mother comes in to help you, she says different versions of how the company works. They are not on the same page. Let me explain: the young girl helping you says they can go to your property and take measurements, and give the home owner an estimate. Well, the mother tells you later that you, the home owner, has to take measurements. They advertise a warehouse were you'll see a lot of samples to choose from. None of this is true. I'm not a hater by any means, but if I'm going to spend 15 to 20 grand in cabinets, you bet your lame establishment that I need to be impressed. I walked out in like 8 minutes thinking I could have had a nice cup of chocolate or coffee. Skip this place; you have been warned.

Thank you to Amber and Frankie and everyone at Quality Discount Cabinets for their professionalism, personalized customer service and great product. We did a small but tricky kitchen remodel and QDC was very helpful in figuring out ways around odd angles and tight spaces. Their product was perfect for this project and delivery was on-time and just as specified. This certainly wasn't the biggest project for QDC but they made us feel like it was one of their most important. If I ever have another kitchen QDC will be my first stop. Well done!

Let me start with the negatives and move to the positives. The order must be paid in full the day the cabinets arrive at the site. You are playing for items that hadn't been delivered and labor that hasn't happened, so it's risky. The double sink they supplied was too large for the cabinets, so either the installer would have to cut into the cabinets or I would have to drive up and exchange for a much lighter, single bowl and smaller sink, which I did. No compensation from Amber, the owner, for the lesser item. Said all the sinks were the same price, even though the new one was much smaller and lighter in material than the original. Now the positives, the cabinets were good quality and the installers, cabinets and counter top were efficient. I would recommend holding back 10% of the cost to insure the job is what you ordered. I didn't and I'm sorry because I didn't get the sink I wanted.

Frankie was amazing - spending as much care and time on my tiny kitchen for a granny unit as I would have expected for a large and grand kitchen elsewhere. Turns out tiny kitchens are really hard to figure out, and she stuck with it, creatively solving multiple issues.

We had all our cabinets and our countertops replace by QDC... They are a 10!! Professional, top quality and it comes with genuinely kind service... We had everything done quickly, with attention to detail and by people who cared that we were getting exactly what we wanted... and all at a fair price! Arctic White cabinets and Carrara quartz turned our kitchen into a gorgeous room! Couldn’t be happier with QDC!
