Pomegranate Salon is ideally located near downtown Santa Rosa. I park for free on Cherry Street and walk. All the beauticians are very experienced in cutting hair. I use Esther who is the owner and does a fantastic job. She listens to what I want and gives me a great cut every time. The atmosphere is welcoming and the receptionist very friendly. You can't go wrong here.

Esther has been doing my full head of highlights for a few years now. I recently moved to Nevada, but is still fly into Sonoma County to get my hair done by Esther!! Worth it every time Thank you Esther!

I look forward to my appointments for cuts and color with Sarah, typically at the end of my workday, as though the sun is breaking through the clouds. She’s always welcoming, ready for me and asks what I’d like as I’m seated and we’re reflected in her mirror. We’re a team in considering options…something a little different now and then in length, shape, color, highlights. I’ve met my first goal when I succumb to the bliss of a warm shampoo and head massage with yummy products. We chat about anything while she works. I have been going to Janice at Pomagranates since they first opened close to 30 years ago. I have always had an excellent cut and the color is exactly what I have asked for. When I want something specific I will bring a photo in and Janice and I will discuss it. Some of the cuts or color just won't work on my face. I am extremely particular about my hair and Janice is the only person that I can honestly say that I trust to give me the results that I want. I no longer live in Santa Rosa and have tried people elsewhere only to return to Janice to have my hair done.

First time ever my hair looked worse than when I came in. Totally overpriced and terrible job. The staff is VERY unprofessional as well. Don't go here even if its free-- you will regret it!!!!!!!

Esther has been my stylist for a good long time. She performed a color correction early on in our relationship (I was coloring my own hair with over the counter products) and since then has kept my color in top shape, updating the shades from auburns to browns as my mood changes. She also does a spectacular job with my highlights & always has great input when I feel I want a hairstyle change. I've gone from long hair, to shoulder length, to a bob & then took the plunge to a simple short style, I've been happy with each and every one. I have and will continue to recommend Esther to my friends and family!

These ladies do more than just cut a prescribed haircut, they work with your particular hair type to give you the best result possible. They stay up to date on trends and continue to learn the latest techniques. I always leave happy with my color and cut!
