We are so happy we booked our wedding through Milestone! We worked with Arianna and she helped plan and execute the most perfect wedding day! From answering so many of my smallest questions to making sure we didn't have to worry about a single detail day of and to running the most seamless and smooth event, she is amazing. Thank you, Milestone!

Truett Hurst is the most gorgeous venue to have your wedding! So many stunning backdrops for photos it’s hard to choose from – there are vineyards, lavender plants, a flowing creek, flower arches, and so much more! We booked Truett Hurst through Milestone Event Groups, and Paige Hough was our day coordinator. She was a dream to work with! She answered my multiple emails in a timely manner, and submitted my many, many requests for changes to my rental order with a smile. All the staff at MEG made our wedding day feel absolutely seamless. So grateful to have had them on our team!

My wife and I had our wedding with milestone last year and while our wedding was great, it was in spite of everything milestone promised us but didn’t deliver on. We were led to believe milestone would take care of everything, but then our planner left for a month right before our wedding and everyone became very unresponsive and dismissive of our concerns which proved to be valid. They sold us on an appetizer package which they said would be sizeable for our guests, but it was literally 2 small mezze platters for 150 people. The mezze platters likely fed no more than 20 of our guests. They were also over an hour late with our dinner service, which cut into our bands time which we had to pay for but did not receive any compensation for because milestone said it was not their fault that they were an hour late with the food. Whenever a concern was brought to their attention, instead of treating us like a paying customer, they always chose to respond defensively blaming us for not understanding the process. If you are planning a wedding and you want to use one of the venues they work with, you can book the event directly with the venue and steer clear of their incompetence. The bottom line is that wedding planning is stressful and you don’t want to have added stress because your events group is dismissive, rude, and incompetent.

Milestone was an unfortunate necessity at Charles Krug Winery. The initial coordinator assigned to us, Liliana, did not seem particularly excited to help us ensure our perfect day. Her lack of enthusiasm put a damper on each one of our pre-wedding planning meetings. Going forward, we hope that Milestone will use the tasting room staff of their venues to run the wine tastings prior to the event as it was clear that Lili had no interest in the wine she was serving us. All this being said, we are giving 3 stars because of how wonderful Kristine was. We asked Milestone to switch our on-site coordinator, and Kristine stepped up to the task with massive amounts of enthusiasm. She made sure that EVERYTHING was perfect, and we are extremely grateful for her and how well she represented Milestone. Kristine gets 5 stars.

Our experience with Milestone is mixed. Our initial coordinator was not engaging. She then left Milestone 2 months before our wedding, giving us 3 days heads up without connecting us with her replacement. We were then assigned to work with Kristine, who is actually the Estate Kitchen Manager. Thankfully, Kristine exceeded our expectations. In the 2 months leading up to the wedding, she was extremely responsive, providing prompt and detailed feedback on all of our questions and modifications for rentals, layout, wine purchase, decor etc. She had good recommendations for seating arrangement and tips like including an umbrella for our charcuterie station. On the day of, she was extremely professional and thoughtful, making sure we didn't worry about anything or miss a moment of our big day.

We had a very positive experience working with Milestone. Additional details are below, but the summary is that we used them to book the venue and then were able to work with them to have one of their best wedding planners, Paige, act as our day-of coordinator (we already had an amazing independent planner, Brittney Espinoza of Bri Solutions, for our planning). For our wedding, this was the perfect partnership.Venue Management: The Milestone team was very responsive compared to the other non-milestone venues at which we looked in Santa Rosa. Jennifer Millsap, one of their site selection specialists, was excellent; we provided our initial thoughts on cost and a high-level summary of our vision for the wedding and reception and she easily steered us to the best venues for our price range and gave us tons of great information to help us make an informed decision. They waived their buy-out fee for catering since our wedding was less than half of their catering minimum. We benefited greatly from their list of preferred and recommended vendors (definitely check out Pacific Connections Catering, Stephanie Hopkins Photography, and Premier Productions, who, together with Bri Solutions and Milestone, were the perfect team).Day-of Coordinating: As mentioned, we already had a planner, but she was also in my wedding party, so we needed a separate day-of coordinator. We were able to contract with Milestone for less than the cost of the full planning services to have a day-of coordinator. Based on other reviews we read, we requested Paige, and we were not disappointed. Paige was an incredible addition to our team. Although having a separate planner in some ways made things more complicated for Paige when it came to running the event, Paige was always extremely positive and willing to go the extra mile to help our wedding come together. She attended our walkthroughs, helped us with questions about the venue along the way, and did an amazing job on the day of our wedding at coordinating setup and making sure that all the little details came together. As a note: In speaking with prospective vendors, we did receive some feedback indicating that they charge more if Milestone is your planner (impliedly due to some amounts that the vendors have to pay Milestone out of their proceeds). To make sure that we didn’t have to pay extra, we clearly communicated to vendors that Milestone was not our planner. We did choose all of our vendors, other than Bri Solutions, off of the Milestone approved vendors list and, as noted above, were thrilled with each of them. Bri Solutions was amazing and, if you have a planning-intensive event, we highly recommend using Bri Solutions for planning and Milestone for day-of coordination; it paid off big for us.

My venue was beautiful, but the worst part of my wedding was working with Milestone. We booked our venue while it was under the management of another company and everything was going fine. The moment Milestone took over, the problems started. They tried multiple times to not honor my contract and tried to get even more money out of us on at least 3 separate occasions. They made planning extremely stressful for both myself and my coordinator. There was little to no communication except when they wanted more money. Even on the day of my wedding, they fell through on things that were promised- like coffee and tea during dessert (It was part of my bar package, but was no where to be found so my dad had to run to Starbuck to get coffee for everyone), they had my vendors SIT ON THE FLOOR to eat dinner because they couldn't 'find chairs', and the 'site manager' who was supposed to be my main point of contact, changed at least 3 times and it was like starting over every time- half of the time people I spoke to had no one I had already booked my event! Their properties are stunning but I will never work with Milestone again.

Proceed with caution. Milestone selling point is that it is as transparent as possible with “hidden charges” which we found to be false. Our Milestone wedding coordinator was not on top of our wedding at all. One example of many. She told us that our dance floor was not included in our venue right before our wedding and that we did not rent one so we would not have a dance floor. She removed it from our schematic that we went over months before. The venue was rented to us with a dance floor included in our contract. It was a mess to get sorted. She added more stress than she relieved.Lack of attention to detail throughout the whole process. We kept having to catch mistakes even on the day. Overall, very disappointed. As for Milestone, they work closely with other vendors with the impression of making the process easy for you. We found that it was an excuse for these exclusive vendors to upcharge.Positives - the venue was beautiful and the people working at the venue and not through Milestone were professional, helpful, and kind. If you can rent the venue without Milestone, I would highly recommend.

My heart was set on a wedding at Russian River Vineyards and the venue directed me to Milestone. I'd already wanted a day-of coordinator anyway and, while I'd have preferred to plan every detail of the wedding myself, realistically I didn't have the time to do that. Milestone assisted with planning and ran the day of event - it was a great fit for me to make sure everything was accounted for leading up to the day and I'm happy to report most everything ran smoothly, resulting in a beautiful event for my husband, family, friends, and me. I recommend them highly. I'd previously looked at the costs for a day-of coordinator and, candidly, the broader service provided by milestone came in not much higher than those alternatives and came with a broader set of services, all of which I found to be very valuable. Just make sure to consider the costs of buyout fees if you're set on specific vendors. Luckily their list of vendors was rather long, especially if you're looking at a $100-$150+ per head for food - and I understand they've been expanding their list to cover a wider range of catering budgets. Everyone we used on their list was easy to work with (whereas the transportation company I used to save some $ who was not on their list was our most challenging vendor with subpar service) so they've done their homework and it pays off to lean on their experience with their list. We did the buyout for catering and it was worth every penny to have my lovely milestone planner, Kristine, work directly with our selected food truck caterer on our behalf. I would never have known to ask all the things that were second nature to her and candidly took uncountable hours to solidify (everything from hookups, kitchen appliances, which vendors would manage clean up, who was rolling napkins and when... the list goes on and on...). Her communication with vendors on rentals, food, and drink was simply a life saver and her storied background in catering and managing the milestone kitchen portfolio payed in dividends when rubber hit the road. I felt very confident everything was being considered and handled throughout. Milestone has lots of experience with high end and extravagant wine country weddings. Ours was much simpler and lower budget and Kristine hustled to help us find and work with vendors to keep our costs relatively low. She spent time to understand our vision for the day and was a great thought partner in developing creative and thoughtful solutions. While they did a ton, I didn't use milestone as a full service partner - I still scheduled time with most vendors 1:1 and managed the overall budget among other things. Since it's a unique relationship, I recommend spending extra time to understand who will do what ahead of time for your instance as you decide on fit. When the day arrived, everything was very smooth without the need for my involvement. The inevitable hiccups were resolved proactively, quickly, and gracefully, most without my knowledge. All the forethought Kristine brought to the planning process and the work her and her partner, Jamie, put in through the the day ensured things were on time, looked stunning, and felt natural and comfortable for our guests.

We were very lucky to work with Paige! She was so helpful during the planning process, answering all of our questions quickly and in great detail. On the day of our wedding, we could not have asked for more attention to detail and assistance with setting up decor and our displays. Any little hiccups were quickly addressed and we were very pleased with how everything turned out. We never once stressed about anything to do with the setup as Paige was in contact with all of the vendors and kept the night on schedule and everything running smoothly. Thank you Paige for helping to give us our perfect wedding day!

The ABSOLUTE worst experience I have ever had. If you like being mislead on pricing, then go with this company for you. They will always state that its in the contract when it's in your favor and then up charge you for anything that isn't. The contacts are misleading, often times without pricing and then once it's selected, the nightmare begins. Not only did we have our wedding at one of the most iconic wineries in the Napa valley, (and one that my whole family has worked at) but it was a horrible experience... My guest told me "I could have done more than what your coordinator was doing for you" The whole time my now husband and I did not feel supported by milestone... The lack of professionalism was definitely seen by not only me, but my guest.... Embarrassing.. (especially because we are in the wine industry) my work said Milestone was trying to contract with us and I put a stop to that because of my experience.. I will also make sure I notify more of the wineries I am close friends with because no one deserves the lack of customer service we experienced... Samantha is very sweet and very new... she often did not know the answers to my questions and that's ok because this is another learning experience but I was looking for someone who knew the ropes and who truly would want to be there for us hopefully in her years doing this job, she gets better at it and is less "lazy" and that's not coming from me but numerous guest...They lack in communication They change the rules to accommodate them I had my caterer set and everything was going fine.. then something happened to my Godmother's staff and then late may they made me change my caterer.... Talk about a disaster. Come present day to my "tasting" on September 28th (my wedding was October 8th) super late on the tasting, we tried the food and it was good. There was a chimichurri sauce on the steak which Katherine asked what we had in mine and what we liked and I submitted an email before the tasting took place... the chicken was nice and moist and had a nice au jus to it. The appetizers were decent which was a crunchy pepper stuffed with a cream cheese (my God Mother's is simply better) and the shrimp ceviche which my husband enjoys was sub par but doable..... at my wedding, those peppers were awful.. tasted like straight vinegar and spicy which was not requested.. the shrimp ceviche tasted like crap... I requested cheese and charcuterie for the bridal party only and they did it for the guest... the chicken was dry.. and there was NO chimichurri sauce for the steak.... the steak was very undercooked but good for people who likes their steak rare. It was difficult to eat. Katherine never asked me how our tasting was after we did it.. did not confirm anything or asked us what we enjoyed or if we needed changes. We asked for an herbed/ flavored rice (off menu) but Katherine and Samantha said they can work with our request and it was plain unflavored white rice...... It was definitely not what we paid for... they also under served our guest to the point they had to get back up for seconds and or asked for an extra piece or meat.... We didn't even have 200 people show up, we had about 185 there (we pause for 200) and most of my guest were underserved. The chicken was dry as hell too and the salad had a very bitter dressing.... My flower lady and DJ services that got recommended from milestone were the only good things about my day... I also had communication with Leslie Fravel who is the Vice President and general manager of milestone and she was nice but she submitted my voicemail to the Vp of Charles Krug several months after the fact saying I was abusive and cussed them out, well of course I did because they changed my caterer last minute and they wouldn't let me work on finding certified staff and they also gave me a brand new coordinator which I said in the beginning I did not want.. I wanted someone with experience who has good communication. They made us feel like "you're just another
