I decided to sell my car to manly, only because I have cancer and have been going through cancer treatments and have been struggling with monthly debt since I'm a single mom who has had to take a lot of time off work for chemo/radiation and recovery of all that. They came Saturday afternoon to pick up my car, from a few hours away. I was really undecided and had a lot going on, so I tried to reschedule my appt that morning but the woman I was in contact with said they were already on their way so I could not. She didn't offer to even try just said no. I cried as he picked it up, because this was my dream car that I had saved for and it broke my heart to sell it. Within a couple hours of him leaving, my dad came over and I explained to him the situation, along with my health updates. He was horrified I had sold my car out of desperation and without consulting him, and offered to pay my payments until I'm back on my feet and healthy again. I reached back out to them within a couple hours after they came and asked to cancel because my dad had offered to step in and make help me make my payments until I'm cancer free and back on my feet. They said they are not going to return my car to me, and there's nothing they will do for me, I'm out of luck. To go find another car. I offered everything. To pay anything they needed. They flat out said no. I even offered to buy it back, no response. They totally quit responding. This company obvi cares more about money, than their customers. They came Saturday afternoon and by Saturday evening I was literally trying to cancel this transition, they probs weren't even back to the dealership with my car yet. Same on Sunday except they just quit responding to me entirely. Nothing was electronic, it could have been canceled but they just didn't give AF and the management refused to call me back. When I did get ahold of a manager, he was superrrr rude and condescending. I'll be sure to leave reviews everywhere, contact everyone and do fb lives. Avoid this dealership, find one that actually cares about its customers.

Just have to say I was in the car business for a long time and the people at the Manly Pre- Owned center made it so easy to sell my car! I had my car appraised by Yesenia, and she made the whole process quick easy and surprisingly fun. Not to mention I got a GREAT DEAL!!!!! Would highly recommend! Ask for Yesenia Vargas and shell take great care of you!

Feels like you're walking into an old trailer that was turned into an office. I only went in to trade a car because I was promised a better offer than the competitors. I was told that if I went there, I would get the offer, even though I didn't have an official Kelly Blue Book offer. When I got there, the girl who I had talked to about the offer over the phone said that I would need to have an official offer for them to beat it. I HAD JUST ASKED HER OVER THE PHONE IF NOT HAVING AN OFFICIAL OFFER WOULD BE AN ISSUE, AND SHE HAD TOLD ME IT WOULD NOT. Do not waste your time here.

LOVE this place! They give top dollor and you won't be able to get a better offer for selling your used car anywhere else. We tried 4 other dealers. Manly used cars gave us $3,000 more than Carmax offered. They put the price in writing and let us shop it around. This place is so straightforward and up front and easy to work with it almost seems to good to be true. The car we sold was a Nissan Rouge and the Nissan dealer we got it appraised at swore they would beat any body elses price, after we got our quote from Manley used cars Nissan said they can't beat Manly Used cars' price and we should sell it to Manley used cars. Definitely get a quote from this place they are fast friendly and you will get an unbeatable offer. We worked with Margarita Verdin and Darrell Steed they are amazing!

I guess let me start by saying that I bought a Honda from Manly about 17 years ago and had a wonderful experience. The salesperson was helpful and worked with me to get my payments down to a manageable level. I had the car the entire time. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I went there because I saw a truck on line that I wanted to buy because I was giving my Honda to my kid. First of the truck was annihilated with new car smell...I mean you can smell it before they even opened the truck and windows were closed. The truck was in decent condition but every time I had a question, it was met with a "soandso has done the best they can, etc" And let me tell you their best sucked. Anyway, I needed the new to me vehicle so i ended up buying it and during the process, the salesperson tried to pad the payment which is illegal in California. After that was brought to his attention and he re-did the calculations, he left me at the finance desk and never came back. After I signed all the papers, he didnt even give me the keys. I had to go back inside and ask for them. Then I noticed something with the backend and tried to call..no one would answer the phone, so I sent an email. They called me back and said if I was unhappy with the purchase, that I should just return the truck and they would wholesale it out and make it someone else's problem. I dont know how we got here in terms of customer service!? I was so shocked that anyone would even admit that to me or to another customer. All I know is that I will do my best to get my Manly license plate holders off the vehicle and never recommend them to anyone. The lack of caring or even empathy was shocking. If they really dont give a s**** then why be in business.

First I have to say... we have bought 4 cars from Manly Honda over the last 20 years so of course it is one of my first stops usually... until now. I saw a RAV4 I was really interested in. I waited on the lot for someone to come out to talk to me. No one came out. I finally went inside, stood in the lobby, 4 people looked up at me yet no one said a word & went on their way. I finally approached a desk myself & asked how to get more information on the vehicle, they told me to look on their website. I went home annoyed. Looked up the vehicle & confirmed I really wanted it. I scheduled a test drive for tomorrow, and got my confirmation. Then about 30 min later I went to look at my dream car on their site & no matter how I searched, I could not find it. So I called, thinking maybe when you schedule a test drive it reserves it & hides it for a day or two. The guy on the phone kept asking who I was working with on it, I said NO ONE cause NO ONE would talk to me yesterday when I came to see it. I said I scheduled a test drive for tomorrow though so why can't I look at the car online again? He said let me check the key box.... comes back to tell me, oh it sold yesterday. I said why was it on your site? And why did I just get a confirmation that I had a test drive? I told him this was ridiculous cause I tried to get into the vehicle yesterday but no one would give me the time of day. So I will definitely not be getting ANY vehicle from Manly again!

This is my shocking experience. Took a 2hr Uber ride to pick up a vehicle I had purchased through "Manly Honda" used car/wholesale department. Car was not available for pickup. I dealt with "Nick" who had given me the keys and gave me poorly detailed instructions on where to find the car location on their huge 4 dealership properties put together. When you would expect the car to be ready for pick up as I had given Nick a notice in advance before my departure. I went ahead and began looking for the car which took me about 20 minutes of searching the entire property including the main street and the backroads of random dealerships and mechanic shops. I hesitated calling Nick or going back to the office as he did seem to have a bit of an attitude with me from the start. Then when I decided to call he did not answer so I walked back to his office. When I arrived I was apologetic about not being able to find the car but explained to Nick that I am tight on schedule and have came from a long ride and cannot look any longer than the 20 minutes that I have been searching for so if he can please send someone to get the vehicle for me or if he can get it himself, which what was originally expected as I had notified him of coming to pick up the vehicle I purchased from him. That's when Nick began to go off and began cursing at me using very inappropriate and unprofessional language that I cannot mention all in my review. He began by telling me to word by word "get the f^** out of my office" continuing with that type of inappropriate language as he began walking towards me not to mention but without a mask continuing to shout at me. I explained that all I am here for is to pick up my vehicle I just expected it to be ready for pick up that's how it normally is dealing wholesale at all other dealership properties. I had to stand outside of his office and sit clueless of what's to happen next. 2 hours away from home with no car. I then decided I have to call the police so I could get the dealership moving because the behavior they had with me was very inappropriate and I was not going to leave without what I had paid for. That's when Nick ran to get the car. After coming back with the vehicle continued with an appropriate language and told me once again to " get the f^** off his car lot" what he claims the car lot to be his. Very unprofessional experience I am surprised of the standard I have seen from this employee working at "Manly Honda". Be careful when buying from this dealership whether it's retail or wholesale I can't trust them based off the experience I had so just be cautious.

I recently sold them my truck, it was extremely smooth and easy. No haggling and gave me what I wanted for the truck. I did have a balance left in my original loan and they told me my payment would come once they received the title. I received the money with no problem once they got the title. Best car selling experience I have ever had

This place is the epitome of the bad used car lot with salesmen to match. Want proof? Go there after sunset. They will have you go to a dimly lit lot & the only way you can check over the car is by using your phone flashlight. If you're lucky, maybe the sales person will help. Next door is a BRIGHTLY lit new car lot, but customers buying used cars aren't that valued. Additional proof? They won't negotiate, even with a full cash paying customer. Then they will give you a piece of paper to justify their actions, which contains a lie. My daughter was in an accident & needed a car ASAP. There was a fully loaded 2017 Odyssey in Davis with $60K miles for the exact price as the Manly 2016 Odyssey with 54K miles that was not fully loaded. I agree, they're pretty even. Davis offered $20K out the door. My daughter preferred the Manly car even though it wasn't fully loaded. It had a few less minor scratches & a better color scheme. I offered them $20K, they said no. They wouldn't even credit us the $80 processing fee. I have never heard of this from ANY dealer. I wanted to walk, but my daughter really wanted this car. We went in to finalize. They gave us a piece of paper that showed the KBB for the max value of the car saying that's what they paid. If that's the case, then they'd be out of business. NO used car dealer pays that price. They pay the trade in price! Clearly they think we are idiots. This price was over $3K less then what they lied to us about. I have a chronic cough. Understandably, they were uncomfortable with me in the showroom. There wasn't anyone else & they did have the plastic window, but I get it. They offered us the option to charge $2,500 to my credit card, then drop off the car the next day & pick up the cashier's check. Fine. I just asked them to call us when they leave so I can leave work & get the check from my bank. We live about 1.5 hrs. away so I had plenty of time. They said they weren't sure of the time, they'd have to find a driver in the morning. Next AFTERNOON, the text my daughter & say they want a copy of the cashier's check before scheduling anything. I called to make sure there wasn't any additional surprises. That's when I was informed that they did not know when they could deliver the car. Could be a week from now. At my irritation the salesman (Greg) said if I don't like it I can just cancel the deal. Really?! You mean after we paid & passed on the other cars? We needed one ASAP, he knew it so he used it against us. We ended up having to drive all the way back to pick it up. Then they "pretended" to care. Offering us a "reduced" warranty. Um, no. Do NOT take any warranty offer. You can go to another Honda dealership & get the same or better price closer to your house. Although you really shouldn't get them in any case. Take the $2-$3K they're lying their butts off to get & put it in a savings account or 6 mo CD. If your car is totaled for any reason, then you lost that money. $20K is a base new car, I paid it out cash & this is how we were treated? I will NEVER go back to this bottom feeder dealership. They will mess you over any & every way possible. Research & verify, because they lie, lie, lie. No wonder they have 2.5 stars. I can't believe it's even that high.

STAY AWAY, THESE PEOPLE ARE A BUNCH OF BAIT AND SWITCH SOB'S! Who ignore you for the 1st 10min while you stand there watching LITTERALLY 9 people standing around doing nothing!I live in the east bay, but I saw a car online that I wanted to come in and buy it. The car had been on the website for over a week and was older, but I called ahead to be sure. The 1st guy, Scott intially seemed friendly and helpful, but he said "let me go see and put hands on the car to be sure its out there, I'll call you back in 5-10min. I told him no worries to take his time, I still had to get dressed to head out there (the drive was a little over an hour) he said ok. Well more than an hour goes by and no call back. So i call back this time i get Scott, agian seemed friendly over the phone, he put me on hold verified the car was on the lot and unsold. I said ok great, i'm in my car and on the way now. I get there and tbe car is magically gone 5min before i get there.....the car is STILL posted online as i type this. It's a dame bait and switch con job there. We left IMMEDIATELY and went next door to carmax, where people are genuinely friendly and helpful. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONSHOW!

Selling a car on the Internet is a nightmare. You don't know who a real person is and no matter how fair the price, someone's always trying to lowball you. Then you get the creep factor of having some stranger come to your house or meet you somewhere. I called Manly and got a hold of Pat. He looked over my vehicle, took it for a test drive and I was out the door in less than 30 minutes with a check. It was better than the normal trade-in value without the hassle. I think I will be calling them again in the future.
