  I don't write reviews very often, but this place takes the cake. My beloved 2005 Mazda 3s threw a piston ring on 9/29, and after intense research and numerous calls from here to Tennessee, I could not find an engine replacement, and was advised to let my car go. Meantime, I had also been looking for a new car in case I couldn't get mine fixed. Since we're moving to Placer County, I called dealers from Santa Rosa to Roseville for info on cars I was considering. I finally narrowed it down to a Honda Civic Sport with a manual transmission, and called Manly, among others. I got several calls from their salesmen, but all refused to give me a quote over the phone; said I had to come down. Since my car was essentially dead, I had to borrow a vehicle just to get a number from them. Didn't matter to them. I managed to borrow a truck today, and drove down to see what numbers they would give me. I ran into a seemingly kind and grandfatherly-like guy named Art, who said he'd help me. I sat down with him and told him what I was looking for, which was a competitive bid. First off, he thought the Civic Si (1.5 liter turbo) was the same car as the Civic Sport (2.0 liter, no turbo), and he kept trying to get me to buy the Si. It took a lot of talking to convince him that the Si and the Sport were two different models, and I didn't want the Si. I asked him a few questions about the accessories, and he flat out had no idea what I was talking about. I mean simple questions, like the difference between the floor mats the car comes with, and the 'High-Wall Carpet Floor Mats' sold as an accessory. Every few minutes, Art would excuse himself, say he'd 'come right back', and then disappear for a long time. At one point, he must have been gone about 20-30 minutes, and I started gathering up my things to leave, as this was becoming beyond rude. Another salesperson named Lorena popped up, and said Art was busy with another customer (so what does 'come right back' mean?). After she entered some of my info, which Art hadn't done, Art popped up again. I pressed him for a price, and he disappeared again to talk to the manager. I mean, how long does it take just to get a price? These new cars have almost no options, and all you add on is the usual destination charge, fees and taxes, doc/prep fee, etc. He eventually returned with an MSRP that was higher than any other quote I'd gotten, coupled with the usual doc prep fee and government add-ons. Not competitive at all. And get this - before he showed me the numbers, he asked me if we had a deal. I told him, show me the numbers, and then I'll tell you. When I told him he was too high, he asked me if I wanted him to tell the manager I wasn't interested, and I said, yup. That's when it happened. I have never seen a face go from sweet and kind to one curled with disdain that quickly. Like a shape shifter, or something. Beyond creepy. He went back to the manager, and returned right away to tell me that he would keep my file. And he didn't want to give me a copy of his bid.Bottom line is that I went in in the early afternoon, and didn't emerge until late afternoon, a complete waste of my time. I don't know what kind of games him and the manager thought they were playing, but if it's this difficult just to get a quote on a new car I intend to buy as soon as possible, I can't imagine having to deal with this dealership if my car had a problem. No thanks - I'm buying anywhere but here.

  Got my new 2024 CRV from Manly dealership. Great experience. No hassle, no pressure from the sale person. A little uneasiness with the finance guy though. But overall a great experience. Highly recommended!Thanks Alex Iniquez for helping to get me the EXL!

  My wife decided she was getting a new car, so off she goes to decide what to get..... I for a long time have been completely against dealerships so this was a hard no from me... so she comes back "ok so I decided on the 2024 crv hybrid sport and my friend Artie is ordering it and will let me know when it's getting close to delivery. I'm like yeah my friend Artie ok... Well after a little bit of a wait Artie staying in constant contact with my wife we get the call that they have the car and come on down. The second I met this guy I'm like "yup this is exactly who I would want to buy a car from" happy, friendly, kind man that you can tell he loves his job and he loves doing what he does. He cares about his customers and it definitely shows. He stayed well over 4 hours after he was already off just to finish our paperwork. And even followed up the next day to check on everything and make sure that everything was ok. We laughed the entire time often distracting him from his paperwork (sorry) The world would be a much better place with more Arties in it and I appreciate you. If your looking for a car with a no stress no fast paced rushed sale this is the guy you want to see!!Thanks again Artie

  Jacob was amazing and so much help with trading in my old car for a newer one. It was a great experience and I’d recommend him to anyone wanting a new car or even just looking for information. Even after purchasing the car, he checked in to see how I was liking the vehicle and how everything was going. I’d definitely come back to Manly Honda in the future!   I moved to Santa Rosa in March of this year.I had been taking my Honda there and they have provided excellant service.Recently I upgraded my 2018 Accord for a 2023 Accord EX.Everyone who helped me did a great job and it was a painless process.The new car is awesome.

  I had a wonderful experience here working with Javier. Professional and easy to talk too. Persistent but not pushy. Even though we didn't end up finding what I was looking for, he made the experience much better than the general car shopping experience tends to be. Would happily come here again next time I am in search of a new vehicle.

  Service department is horrible. I will say the counter worker was nice. The problem is, last time I went in for a simple oil change, I told them in advance I would wait for the vehicle, it took over 4 hours.Last week I scheduled an appointment for today for an oil change and transmission fluid change, only to be told they do not have the parts needed.Unfortunately I allowed them to convince me to buy GAP insurance that includes a service package ( I was told at the time that it covers ALL necessary services and includes a roadside package) only to be told when I brought it in that it only covers an oil change, and if service is not completed on time, the roadside coverage is canceled.This is a complete joke and I will never purchase from Manly again, I have bought my last 4 cars from them, but never again.

  DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! I have had a car I bought from Honda/Hyundai for 10 months and it’s been in the shop for over a month in total with nothing being fixed!! The people tell you they will call everyday and give you an update but they call the first day and when it inevitably doesn’t get fixed the first day they have your car, they don’t call anymore!!! I usually am the one to have to call to get any info whatsoever. This time I didn’t call to see when they would, 6 DAYS WITH NO UPDATE! They finally call and tell me the part they ordered last week is on back order. This is what they told me last time and the part wasn’t available until 2 months later! I asked them when I could have my car back and they said it was still taken apart, so they are just excepting to continue to keep my car and have me pay for it while they have it. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! After this trip and it once again not being fixed (my whole panoramic sunroof has been broken for months, I have only had the car for 10 months…) I will be turning my car in and expecting my money back because this isn’t the only situation, just the most frustrating. ⚠️THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTIST, PLEASE STAY AWAY!!⚠️

  Manly Honda And Honda in general. My wife purchased a 2016 HRV brand new, and now at 130,000 miles we have a blown transmission. We have been in and out of Manly Honda many times for service, repairs, and other things... We were never informed about a transmission fluid change. One night on our way home from shopping Our car died on the freeway, All the dashboard lights came on in the car and it slowed to a stop . We took it to the dealer where we bought it And Our service representative at Manly Honda replied that if this had happened two months ago, it would have been completely covered, because there was an update to the computer that would've stopped the transmission from doing what it did. We were never informed of this update. We changed the transmission fluid at 110,000 at Manly and 20,000 miles later boom goes the transmission. After a week of negotiations with Manly Honda... To no avail. (sorry can't help you )and then two more weeks of negotiations with Honda corporate... To no avail. (Sorry can't help you.) we are left with almost $8000 worth of repairs and three weeks of car rental. ( almost $800) I must say that the people I worked with a Manly Honda were very nice and very apologetic and explained to me that they were just following corporate guidelines. The people I spoke to at Honda corporate, Were also very apologetic about how they could not help. And just following the guidelines. I really wish I knew who made these guidelines. it's just amazing to see how Honda treats their customers. I'm not sure when the meaning of customer service changed to mean no service at all. I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope this little bit of information might help someone in the future to reconsider buying a car from Manly Honda in Santa Rosa Ca. or a Honda at all for that matter.Signed Frustrated and forgotten

  This review is about the service department. I booked the appointment online, requesting a "while you wait" appointment to get an estimate for collision repair. When I arrived at the appointment time, the greeters were not ready nor expecting me. The Manly rep struggled to find my appointment info. When I told her I needed an estimate for collision repair, she announced in a condescending tone "we don't do bodywork here!" as if that's something I would be expected to know. To be clear, I'd booked the appointment at least 24 hours in advance, if not 36-48 hours, so their staff had plenty of time to preview appointment requests and redirect any that couldn't be handled. This was strike 2 -- I had a prior bad experience the last time I went there. I'll add it to the list of things Manly's service department isn't capable of handling, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere.24 hours after Manly's crackerjack team refused to help me, I got an automated email notifying that I'd "missed" my scheduled appointment. No thanks, I don't need to reschedule!

  I'll never buy another Honda as long as I live. Bought my very FIRST new car in 2016 after saving forever. Was a loyal used Honda customer for ages. Bought a new 2016 Honda HRV. Just finished paying it off recently and all of a sudden the transmission is SHOT! I'm told it will cost me SEVEN THOUSAND dollars to repair! Despite this being an apparent well known FLAW in the 2016 HRV! Unbelievable! And I come to find out that HONDA would have fixed my car for free if I had had this happen a few months ago when I was still under the seven year extended warranty time line! I had taken my car to Honda dealership for all of my tune ups and scheduled maintenance FOR WHAT! Asked them to at least pay for parts or labor. NO DICE. I'm letting everyone in my world know what my experience was!!! I'll be a customer of a different brand of car from today forward. #dissapointed.

  Alright alriiiight now! Here's my opinion. I was there a couple of days and was only there to -as I said to the salesman who attached himself to me and my boyfriend without being asked to- gather information.I'm barely walking past the building when Juan the self proclaimed -top 10, 5 month- employee of Manly Honda says "Do you guys need help?""No. We're just looking."Well Juan responds, "You are gonna need help then because the cars have no price on them and blah blah blah," he proceeds to follow us to the used car lot. Mind you, this guy didn't introduce himself. Straight off the bat he's not friendly and has a crap approach to where I knew for a fact... He js lacking in experience. Mind you, I've been to Manly before when my boyfriend purchased his new accord. We worked with Dylan who I had known from my many years of being employed at another dealership network in Marin. Dylan knows what he's doing he was friendly he gave us info and didn't try to push a sale so we did as we told him and later returned to purchase a car from him. Now. This juan guy asks me my price range and I say I don't want to pay over x amount a month and he says "great sounds like an 18k car you're looking at..." He takes us into the building and proceeds to again ask me what my price range is and I say 15-18 then. But I prefer cheaper also we are not putting a down payment if we don't have to. "Well if you don't want to pay me blah blah blah," Okay strike 2 for juan. I'm not paying you. This isn't your car and I'm here to LOOK! He mentions if I want to take the car home. Anyway this was such a crap and mediocre experience. I told him from jump. I'm here to look. I have worked in the dealership world for 5 years total and I have friends and family who are managers, salesmen, porters everything you can think of. I KNOW HOW THIS WORKS. He brings me an estimate that includes gap insurance (gap is b.s.) and service package. This jumped the cars price from 14.5 to 21k. So we tell him we don't want any of those things he added he comes back with a modified estimate where the payments are like 450 a month for a 17k car and this is a civic with like 36k miles. We ask him for his business card and he nods like "ok, just a second," he leaves and I swear to you.He doesn't come back. My boyfriend grabbed his phone from his car and as juan passed by me he blinks and asks "is everything ok?" I'm like... "Yeah... "WHERE IS THE BUSINESS CARD?! We were going to go home and seriously take money out of the bank to make a down payment and purchase the car. But this terrible salesman decides he's not going to bring his card. He's outside putting stickers on a car he just sold to the VP of some company. And how does he have the audacity to ask me to hook it up when I told him where I work? Ew.No. Just a big old no. I've met salesmen like him. Shady from the start. Go with your gut people. This is nothing against the dealership because they have awesome people like Dylan there but... Mr. top 10 and 5 months there juan is not it. Since he was bold to end our encounter at "I'll get you my business card." After I informed we were leaving since he left us waiting there the first time we asked for it. I'm gonna be so bold as to write an honest review of my experience with him. Not great. We were honest and courteous from the start and he was a bad vibe from the start. Barely cracked a smile and wasn't forthcoming with information.

  I had a great experience with Manly Honda in Santa Rosa. Miguel was super knowledgeable, kind and patient, while walked us through our choices and paperwork needed. Thank you to the rest of staff as well that helped us with extra coverages without feeling overwhelmed! I'm super happy with my Honda Clarity!!

  Mike helped us find a great deal and incentive on leasing a brand new civic. He was thorough and clear with explaining what each charge would be as well as dealing with trading in our current vehicle. I highly recommend asking for Mike in sales if you’re looking for a new vehicle!
