Came in for the Chanel makeup counter to purchase foundation (and sample a concealer for a ginormous blemish since my coverage had completely worn off at that point). Ulta (North location) next door doesn't carry Chanel makeup. The Coddingtown Macy's cosmetic department vibes are a little... depressed. It felt simultaneously cluttered and barren; a forgotten space. No Chanel makeup to be found. Disappointed, but I've been meaning to try 2 specific shades of MAC lip color, so I found my way to that counter. Perhaps working in a ghost town cosmetics department has the employees actually believing the customers are spooky boos. There were 4 employees tucked into the tiny kiosk, chatting in twos, and I was the only customer looking at their products... for a while. When a staff member finally bestowed upon me a reluctant verbal greeting, I could barely respond before she swiftly returned to her conversation with the other staffer. Not one to push my business on those who don't want it, I left. Macy's must be selling something to people to keep the lights on after all these years. Beyond the cosmetic counters, Macy's holds little interest for me. After today, I have no reason to ever return to this location. Hope to have better luck at the next one.

Well not as grand as it ones was . But no brick and mortar store is anymore its dying a slow death . From the shopping habits. Of people that find it easier to shop online . But it's holding on . And doing it's best it can . There's nothing they don't have for the. Every day consumers so give it a world when you can

I absolutely love this place, it's to close to my home, this can be a sin & a curse. I have a Macy's Mom who adopted me that took me under her wing. She makes me feel like I come 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. I appreciate her#Hospitality

This Macy's is a mess. Completely disorganized. Too much inventory crammed on racks and haphazardly thrown on counters. 20% of the clothes are on the floor in jumbles. The carpets are filthy. The tile floors are full of cracks. Go next door to the Nordstrom rack. Better organized. Staffed by employees who are doing their jobs.

6 years ago, we purchased a large couch from Macys Coddingtown. We also purchased the 5 year warranty. We were told that in the event that we do not use that warranty in the first five years, we could receive our $200.00 BACK. (We needed to "Apply" for the money back. #Macys has done everything in their power NOT to refund that money. Wonderful furniture, HORRIBLE scam on the warranty. Use caution when purchasing from Macys.

Reeses was very disappointing. There wasn't a lot of choices in clothing that didn't look like old lady clothing. I did buy a bra, but the line was quite long. They are short staffed and only one place that I could pay for my purchase. I stopped using your credit card, because they increased their interest rates to an outrageous amount.

I've always had great success shopping for what I need at the Coddingtown store. Staff go out of their way to assist me and they are extra courteous! I have been a Macy's customer for over 60 years and am proud to recommend them.

Macy's has always been a local go to for fashion finds-however today---not so much. I went in to get shoes and make-up essentials. I literally went in search of associate but it was a ghost town. No a person to be found. I felt like I was in the twilight zone with elevator music playing in the back ground. Make up was a no go-so -I went to shoe department to try my hand at purchasing shoes. I found one associate on his phone leaning against the check out counter. That was enough for me to leave. Service: No service.

When you look at where Macys was 30 years ago...when it was an upscaleDepartment store, with a class act at every turn...then you walk into the Macys at Coddingtown...well i could cry. What a sad state this store hasbecome! Filthy. The floors are worn out and disgusting. Beat up walls.I went into the men's dept. Jan. 10th to purchase a sport jacket as a gift.It made me sick. The men's dept. literally looked like a storm had hit it.Clothes strewn everywhere, unfolded, coming off hangers...what in the hellhas happened to one of greatest shopping experiences ever?If this store were in Marin they would have never let it get to this place. But hey, it's Santa Rosa, the "ugly sister" in the North Bay...

The only reason I even bother to go to this Macy's is because it's closer. Most of the time I receive very unprofessional return services here. Save your time and go to the Downtown Macy's. More inventory and the workers are actually decent. Thanks for all the attitude and wasting my time!

No wonder people don't shop at these places. No one is in the departments. You walk around looking for someone to ask or to check out. So frustrating.
