My husband and I enrolled our daughter at La Petite Academy when she was just 12 weeks old, and as hard as it was leaving her at such a young age, we couldn't be happier with our choice. The care provided by Ms. Janet and Ms. Kathy has been exceptional. They are not just caregivers; they are nurturing, patient, and genuinely invested in our daughter's well-being and development. We are so, incredibly grateful for them and everything they do.
Communication is key for us, and we've been impressed by how well the teachers and management keep us informed about everything happening with our daughter and at the school in general. We appreciate the consistent and timely updates we receive throughout the day on their app. It's incredibly reassuring to get photos and updates on our daughter's activities, meals, and naps. It makes being away from her much easier knowing she's in good hands and having a great time.
The dedication of the staff, especially Ms. Janet and Ms. Kathy, is unmatched, and it is clear that they love what they do and truly care about the babies. Despite the busy schedule of attending to all of the babies needs, the teachers still manage to do fun and developmentally engaging activities like art, music, and playing outside. We have also had the opportunity to meet and get to know the teachers from other classrooms as well. Ms. Lynn, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Ranee, Ms. Amita, Ms Lorhanda, and the director Sarah, as well as some of the other teachers have all helped out in her classroom and we have only positive things to say about all of them. We are confident that as our daughter moves up into older classrooms, that she will be just as happy and receive the same level of care that she has already received in the infant room.
I really cannot say enough kind words to show how grateful we are to LPA and all of the amazing staff. Overall, we highly recommend La Petite Academy to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing environment for their child.

Our LO has been attending LPA since they were an infant (about 2-3mo old). Prior to signing up for the LPA waiting list, which was extensive, we visited almost every daycare facility in the area. LPA was by far our top pick, we felt comfortable with the staff, and we thought the facility would be a great environment for our LO to grow in ... and to be honest, unlike some other daycare facilities we visited... LPA didn't feel like a prison for kids.
The first week we dropped our LO off, as a first time parent, I remember feeling inadequate because it seemed like the staff at LPA were infinitely more qualified to care for our child. They were so amazing. They helped us become better parents, honestly helped us learn things like how to spot ear infections very early, get our LO to eat more, etc ... Amazing.
We reached many milestones along the way, crawling, walking, speaking full sentences, potty training, explaining in detail their feelings, etc ... Every milestone was hit far earlier than typical, and I credit the environment that the staff help foster which has made our LO's head start possible.
It's hard to imagine what it will be like without their support, guidance, and advice as she gets much older and transitions into the K-12 system. I feel some anxiety about that eventually; but, in the meantime, like my LO, I will take in everything I can possibly learn from the staff at LPA.

All 3 of my children attended daycare here and we had an incredible experience! The teachers are amazing and the care and attention they give the children is unmatched. Some of my kids’ favorite people are their teachers and I am grateful they loved my kids like their own.The STEM curriculum employed here prepared my kids for public school and they were developed so far and above their peers without similar daycare experience. My kids were noticeably more advanced in social, emotional and physical development as well as behavioral skills and I attribute the majority of that to La Petite Academy’s curriculum and excellent staff. The facility is also incredible! The outdoor playground is one of the best I’ve seen in a public daycare setting and my kids love outdoor time at school. There is a lot of attention to cleanliness inside the classrooms as well which is great for kids to be learning at such a young age. The classrooms are always clean despite being filled with children and the emphasis on hygiene is great!Highly recommend!

I can't update my review from a year ago - so I'm going to do a new one. We are still so immensely impressed by the teachers and staff at La Petite. My twins love them, and their friends they've made at school. The twins still rush out the door to go to school and cheer when we arrive (and now ask if we can go to school on the weekends, and never want to leave at the end of the day!). They are learning way more than we thought they would and earlier than we thought they would - spelling, phonics, cutting with scissors, knowing their numbers, etc. They've had some staffing issues since the pandemic (especially over the last year), but with Sarah and Amita in charge everything seems to be moving in the right direction again!

I went last year for a tour, was excited and ready to enroll my son, so I asked what are the next steps to get him enrolled, their response was “we don’t have space for another 3 months, you need to get on a waiting list” so I asked to be put on the waiting list and gave them my info. 3 months passed and I called to check in on the availability for my son and the spot I’m in for the waiting list, they said I am not on any list what so ever and I need to be put on a “priority” list if I want a spot so I told them to please put me on that list. I called again the next month and they said once again I was never put on any list and now the spots have been filled. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A WASTE OF TIME.

My twins have been at La Petite for a year and a half now, and it’s been absolutely wonderful. They have been in three classrooms so far and every single teacher is amazing. The staff is amazing. They communicate not only via the app throughout the day, but let you know if there’s any concerns at pick-up and drop-off. They’ve been able to adapt to the best of their ability during the pandemic, and have helped my kids have a sense of normalcy & stability during uncertain times. They cheer “Daycare!” every morning because they love it so much!

I rarely write bad reviews on places, but how we were treated and my 28 month old was treated needs to be addressed. My daughter attended this location ever since she was 5 1/2 months old and we were blindsided when they decided to kick her out due to something that is developmentally normal for kids her age. The disregard to our concerns is unacceptable. Having a child that is going through a phase in their development they should have been more than willing to help her through it, guide her, teach her how to cope, etc. Instead what they did was constantly yell at her, put her on time out, singled her out from other kids, making her regress in her talking, potty training and willingness to learn. This place has caused trauma to my 28 month old and then decides to call us in the afternoon telling us that she is no longer wanted back, but they might be able to give us 2 weeks. Why would any parent continue to put their child in people's care that don't want your child there, nor have they been helping her through a phase and you pay astronomical prices for? How we were treated out of no where, brings me to NEVER recommend this place. I trusted them to care for my daughter and all they have done is cause trauma and disregard every concern!

After my experience with the Santa Rosa La Petite location I would never trust my child or anyone else's with this daycare. Let me digress... As most know childcare in Sonoma County is extremely hard to find right now which makes this experience with La Petite even more despicable. I initially reached out in March of 2022 seeking information on care for a infant this fall/winter and asked to be added to their wait list a couple weeks later. The women at the time said there was "over a year" wait currently but I could call back to get updates as people do drop from the wait list. Between March and July of 2022 I called 6 times seeking an update on the wait list and just hoping to get a general idea if La Petite could potentially be an option for care in the fall or down the road in winter or spring of 2023 if other people had dropped. Here is literally the list of excuses (paraphrased) I got each time I called from the same person whom I assume most of been some type of manager (Had a different person one time I called). 1. "Person that can provide an update is not in. I'll have her give you a call back when she returns". Never heard back from anyone. 2. "I'm working on a project. I'll call you back next week with an update. Don't worry though I'm sure we can get a infant in by fall". I never received a call back but this provided a little glimmer of hope. 3. "Someone called out so I can't leave the kids to check. Call back in a couple weeks for an update". Totally understandable until I called a couple weeks later and got brushed off again. 4. "We're updating the wait list. We will be able to provide an update next week, call back then". I called back one week later and got the run around AGAIN!5. "I'm going out of town. I'll call you back later today, if not today on Monday". Never heard anything back... Surprise-Surprise! 6. I think I'm forgetting one excuse or maybe the same one was used twice but I think you get the drift as they never follow up or provide you any info.Based on all this I would NEVER let you care for my child or recommend your location, period. If you can't even return a call or take the time answer a simple question what would you do when you have me locked in paying x $$$$ a month??? I can only assume because people are desperate to find child care right now that you just don't care and you treat people as you see fit. Totally unacceptable and a horrible representation of the La Petite franchise brand which I'm sure corporate would highly disapprove of! AND please don't try to rebuttal with some excuse as times are tough for everyone and there is never a worthy enough excuse for dropping the ball 6 times on poor customer service.

we made an appointment for 11:30 am, we took the road at 1:30 am to get here and when we arrived they didn't answer us, by phone they said they didn't have classes for 1 year olds. WHY DID YOU MARK AN APPOINTMENT? Nothing professional.

My daughter just spent the last couple years at La Petite Academy in Santa Rosa and I cannot say enough great things about this school. It is very safe and secure, affordable, and best of all is the amazing staff. Everyone from Katherine to all the teachers and staff are caring and truly focus on learning. My daughter left just prior to entering Kindergarten and was well ahead knowing how to do simple math and read. Thank you La Petite for your positive impact on Maddison.

My 2 year old son is totally thriving here. All the teachers are very loving, and he has a lot of fun.
