It is almost impossible to get a doctor visit with Kaiser Santa Rosa. I called for over 6 weeks to try & get a appointment. They would tell me my doctor had no appointments available This happened 3 times to me. I needed Cortisone Shots for my knees & had a spot on my face that needed nother treatment. I was you'd numerous times I could get a video call back. What good would that do me.Last year I broke 2 fingers & again I needed to have a video appointment before I could see a doctor for x-rays. Finally I had surgery to put screws in my fingers. Still having trouble with 2 fingers that I can't bend & one burns badly. Kaiser says it's Arthritis. I never heard if Arthritis making your hand burn. I won't get into it about my surgery day except I got ther at 10a like I was requested to do & laid there till 8p for my surgery.

I dont normally write a review But If I could give 10 stars I would. Lynne in the Optometry frame fitting department displayed perhaps the best customer service I have and possibly will ever receive. Down to helping me select frames to making sure that I didn't impulsively select the wrong pair. She even walked me outside to view how the different lenses look in the sun to ensure I would be satisfied with my choice in glasses. She's retiring in a month unfortunately, but good for her! She went above and beyond.

I've had more negative experiences then what I'll write here because I honestly don't have the time and don't care to rant about everything that has gone wrong so I'll just pick a couple. Every once in a while you will find a doctor that genuinely cares but if you have medical like me don't expect to get the care you need. This may or may not be Kaiser's fault because the healthcare system is flaws in many ways but what is Kaiser's fault is this: - Don't expect to get an appointment unless you actually have a problem - Don't expect the tests (blood tests for example) that you ordered to actually be testing for what you asked them to test for. - Dont expect anyone to know what your medical history is and EXPECT to tell every single person who works there the entire story all over again since they do not seem to have time to just check or skim through your medical history. - Main reason I'm writing this is because for almost a year I've been asking for a referral to a specialist since Kaiser doctors were cancelling most of my appointments. Now I have thousands of dollars I apparently owe to a specialist for a problem that causes me pain every single day (enough pain that it often brings me to tears for hours.. enough pain that I've lost jobs or had to resign from college classes). I need medical assistance and I am not receiving that from Kaiser so that is the main reason I am writing this post. My point is, if you have medi-cal or a partnership like I do and you really want to get help about something specific go to a specialist (but don't expect Kaiser to help you get there). P.S don't get me started on the psychiatrist/therapist aspect of Kaiser. In my opinion, it's a joke and don't expect to get the "help" you need unless you say that you want to end your life (or someone elses life).. and by help I mean medication (getting so drugged up that you become a zombie) because that's pretty much the extent of what they are interested in doing. If you need help mentally and you feel the need to take drugs then PAIR IT WITH A THERAPIST THAT WORKS FOR YOU. and don't give up on therapy until you find a therapist that does work for you. It's not easy but it is possible!

I was sitting in the waiting room while the eye doctor measured my grandmother’s eyes and the two front desk workers made fun of me while I was waiting. they were loud and disruptive and hurtful. I don’t recommend anyone come here. They acted like children when they were supposed to provide a safe environment for people in need.
