I am really disappointed with KIA and the service center in the recent experience of trying to get my mother's engine replaced. Metal shavings were found in the oil, which can eventually cause the engine to combust (a common issue with KIA). Rather than replacing the engine, the service center and KIA gave my mother the run around- stating that they could not cover it due to a loophole in their warranty coverage. The loophole being that my mother missed an oil change DURING A PANDEMIC, when everything was in the height of lockdown. She did her best to maintain her oil, topping up when needed, and booked an oil change as soon as possible. My mother went multiple times to the service center requesting support. Perhaps due to being a woman and from a different country, there was long waiting periods and refusals to assist. When I reached out to KIA about their global pandemic policy, the representative stated that the global policy applied only to certain countries (?!?! Hence, not global?!?!) and that HE had no problem getting an oil change during the pandemic, so CLEARLY my mother should have gotten one as well. There are a few people at the service center that were trying to help as best they could, I am grateful for that- however they also mentioned that they felt the policy was unfair, that the repairs have been done in the past for other clients, so why not now? I cannot support KIA or Jim Bone's dealership as a business. The policies are unethical, the convenient loopholes and red tape are infuriating, and to not help a senior citizen while your STAFF even realize and voice that the wrong decision is being made...is just a huge disappointment.

Kia and the Jim Bone dealership are unethical. My mother-in-law, who is in her 70s, recently had a problem with her Kia and they discovered metal shavings in her oil. Apparently, this is one of the many problems common in Kia's and it's extremely dangerous. But they refused to provide service. They said her warranty was void because she missed an oil change during the pandemic. Naturally, she missed the oil change because there was a lockdown, which made getting an oil change a tad difficult. Meanwhile, she's an essential worker and needed to continue driving to take care of a man in a wheelchair who can't take care of himself. The fact is, their own website promised that during the height of the pandemic they offered a "Kia Promise" that they would still provide service even if you missed normal maintenance because of the Covid 19. Worse than that, Jim Bone Kia's service department returned her car without the undercarriage guards that protect the bottom of the engine. They really have some of the worst service I've ever seen. And they should be ashamed to be so eager to cheat an old lady.

Bad service People are assholes Can't reach anyone They say they'll call you back within 5 mins but never do. Lady at the desk and the service manager yelled at me and basically cussed in my face. Pretty much the lowest unprofessional in my opinion. If I could I would give it 0/5 stars. Be warned if you go to jim bone kia. Their service department sucks.Do better assholes.

There needs to be a 0 star rating. One of the worst experiences I have ever dealt with. It took 4 hours for them to get all the paperwork done when buying my car. Then after I signed everything, they said oh actually we can't take that form of payment and said they are closing and to come back another day. Mind you I lived 4 hours away. Then made me pay to have my car driven to me.Then I had problems with my bank loan, only to find out that the dealership had to redo all my paperwork and resubmit my loan, but would not give me a straight answer why. Then they needed to confirm some of my information for my loan, which took about a month, and I got a text from the finance manager saying that I had 4 hours to confirm my employment verification or the bank would cancel the loan. I called the bank and turns out it was a lie, they just did not want to pay a fee. Bank said they had everything they needed from me and was waiting on the dealership. After I thought everything was done after dealing with that for 2 months, I contact the dmv to ask why my license plate has not been sent in the mail yet. They inform me that the dealership never sent all the documents to the dmv so they cannot complete the title transfer, 3 months after I bought my car!Getting through to anyone that is helpful when you call them is impossible! Either they do not pick up or send you straight to a voicemail. There is no reason to spend 3 months fighting with a dealership in the hope they can do their job right. PLEASE go to a different dealership, it is not worth it to buy an overpriced car from them.

ALLEGEDLY, IN MY OPINION: wish i could do 0 stars. sold us a car with a bad engine, refused to comply with the warranty after they stripped engine screws upon inspection. kept the car "for repairs" for longer than a month, then returned it to us via tow truck with the disassembled engine in the trunk. the car had been driven for maybe 3 weeks. awful service, awful ownership, and not a single attempt to at LEAST apologize. wish we had asked around prior to even considering jim bone kia, we've heard many horror stories now. unfortunately too late.you suck jim bone.SUMMARY: purchase from jim bone at your own (VERY HIGH) risk.

We had purchased two warranty's from this business. We had to go in two times to get the one replacement part. The first time they just didn't install it. They kept it all day and just did nothing. We had paint protection and brought it in 3 times to get painted for the chips. They brought the car out dusty, told us it was painted and the car was not even touched at all. They went through body shop managers like they were going out of style and decided to keep the one that lies to their customers. Kept the car for 8 hours to tell me to my face that my dusty car was painted to fix all the scratches. Worst company to do business with. Stay away.

Jim Bone and his dealership are underhanded and dishonest. I negotiated with them last week to buy a car. The salesman said they would sell it to me at MSRP. But then a manager stepped in and said they would not!!!! So I agreed to their over MSRP marked up price and made the deal and was driving into Santa Rosa from Jenner with cash in hand. They led me to believe it was a done deal.Just then the salesman called and said the manager was selling the car to someone else!!!! So I called that manager and he said it is a first come, first serve dealership!! I told him that was unethical to set up a deal for me to buy the car and before I could get to the dealership ( 40 minute drive ) sell it to someone else! He said the new buyer had previously bought cars there so he would not honor my deal!! ( There were no cars of this model on any showroom floor in the Bay Area )And car dealerships wonder why the general population sees them as snakes. Enter that showroom at your own risk! As you can see in the other reviews this outfit just doesn't care about their public image or meeting the needs of their community. Or being truthful !

Generally speaking, in the past, I'd balk at taking any of my cars to a dealership for repairs. I make an exception for Jim Bone Nissan. My Service Manager, Jason Grey, is a caring, courteous employee and person. I call him "my" Service Manager because I have his direct cell phone and he makes my appointments, understands and takes care of my automotive repair needs of my Sentra. He is a straight-shooter. Jim Bone Nissan has coupons for oil changes and repair discounts; all your info and service records are meticulously kept. If you wish, they will review your service record and make recommendations both verbally and via email. The staff are nice and accommodating especially Linda the cashier, phones are answered promptly, the waiting room is clean and comfortable with reasonably priced vending machines, free coffee, phone charger cords. I happened to have an appointment on the day the dealership had their holiday luncheon for employees; three different employees, including Jason invited me to join them. I did! Thank You Jim Bone Nissan for excellent service. Piece of advise for unhappy reviewers: call Jim Bone on his cell phone; the number is posted on the wall in a couple of places and he does answer.

The dealership (sales dept) does not respect their guest's time. Sales management does not seem to care a bit. never going back! it's a shame because they have good parts and service departments that have good management and staff.
