After living in our home for over 20 years, we wanted an updated look that reflected our unique personal taste, but didn't know how to even begin. A friend who had just completed a remodel referred us to Humanity Design Works, and we are so grateful. The designers really took into consideration our lifestyle and personal taste and had such clever and useful tips. The end result is a beautiful, clean (not fussy) and super functional home!
In addition to the design, we were impressed with HDW's ability to coordinate with our contractors and provide advocacy and additional project management services.

We aimed to enhance our outdated 35-year-old kitchen to better suit our needs, especially for our frequent large family gatherings. Upon recommendation from our general contractor, McMichaels Construction, we partnered with Humanity Home & Cabinetry (HHC) to oversee the design and renovation of our kitchen. Working closely with their interior designer, Rae, was a seamless experience. There were no unexpected hiccups along the way. Rae played a pivotal role in crafting a stunning and practical kitchen, perfectly tailored for our family gatherings. Highlights include our beloved coffee/tea station, elegant walnut cabinets, luxurious quartz countertops, and the convenience of a walk-in pantry. We're thrilled with the transformation!

We wanted to remodel our cramped and aging primary bathroom. We really appreciated the variety of design layout options presented to us to choose from as well as Humanity Home’s connections with good quality, trustworthy contractors. Alison, our designer, was easy to work with and we were very happy with the final design & material selections we created together. We had a great experience with Humanity and would definitely use them again for future projects.

“We wanted to update our bathroom and office in our home that we plan to retire in. We Googled “Aging in Place Interior Designer” and Alison’s biography from Humanity Home & Cabinetry popped up.When working with Alison, she really listened to us and understood what we wanted from the very beginning. Alison was able to take our ideas and then came up with suggestions and design elements that improvedupon and made those ideas even better. Our favorite stages of the remodel process were choosing the materials and then watching everything come together. As a part of their service, Alison created a projectbinder with all pertinent information as an on site tool for the contractor/subcontractors to utilize. We really appreciated that, since it was used often and helped keep the project on track. I had two bathrooms that were outdated and non-functional, so my contractor, Fondare Finish Construction, recommended hiring Humanity Home & Cabinetry to assist with redesigning them and choosing products and finishes. When I initially met with my designer, Alison, at the lovely HHC showroom, I could tell that we would be able to work together well. She is quite creative and skilled at choosing just the right materials that work well and look great. She successfully addressed all my needs and ideas, and I am delighted with the look and feel of the completed bathrooms. I would definitely refer family and friends to Humanity Home & Cabinetry.

We bought a mid-century home that had great potential for complete upgrades to the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. Because of a mixed experience on our prior home renovation, we were keen on choosing a reputable, trust-worthy company to work with. After researching online and discovering Humanity Home & Cabinetry and their great reviews, we decided to stop by their showroom and met Alison, one of HHC’s designers. We felt comfortable moving forward working with Alison and trusted that she could provide us with great service, products, and designs. She succeeded in creating the contemporary design aesthetic we desired and provided great suggestions that fit with our home renovation goals. An added plus was their relationship with vetted contractors as well as their high-quality cabinetry options. We wanted to update our kitchen with new countertops, cabinets, and appliances but were overwhelmed by the myriad of options and lacked confidence to make good choices on our own. Fortunately, a friend recommended we visit Kelly Silverstein in her showroom at Humanity Home & Cabinetry on Piner Road in Santa Rosa. Kelly designed and helped us build a gorgeous, highly functional, modern kitchen that we are thoroughly enjoying. From the start, Kelly listened carefully to our concerns and goals and then expertly guided us through the process of selecting high quality, reasonably priced materials and appliances. She also steered us to a reliable contractor and stayed in close contact with us throughout the entire construction phase. Beyond her excellent aesthetic sense and design skills, Kelly is a lovely person. It's been a pleasure working with her.

We were remodeling an old kitchen and outdated bathrooms, so we stopped by Humanity Home & Cabinetry. When we spoke with Alison, she was friendly, honest and very knowledgeable. We liked her so much that we chose to hire HHC to assist us in updating our kitchen and bathrooms. Alison succeeded in solving our design challenges and we are very happy with the results. We were pleasantly surprised how on top of the project Alison was as she looked after the details and informed us of all changes. She proved to really care for our project. We loved not having to deal with all the details of the project and choose between a few samples that Alison selected based on conversations about our style. We trusted her decisions. Alison was friendly, conscientious, professional and very responsive. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and bathrooms!

Our family needed a more functional, spacious and open kitchen layout, including much more robust appliances and a walk-in pantry. The original materials were not the quality we wanted for long term use and we had a vision that needed help coming to life. HHC succeeded in creating a spacious and beautiful kitchen design with a breathtaking stone feature wall and a much more functional and matching island. One of our biggest concerns design-wise, was the challenge of our back kitchen wall. We needed to make it work with the corner by moving our range wall back and our designer, Kelly, made it possible. She was goal oriented and professional throughout the entire process. She was flexible incorporating existing reuse materials for the pantry door. Even though the design was focused on the kitchen and pantry, she took the time to understand how the final layout and finishes would integrate with the rest of the floor when discussing molding and flooring options. We really enjoyed watching our vision come to life and would recommend Humanity Home & Cabinetry to our friends and family. "My wife and I wanted to update our original 80's kitchen and expand the living space, while also making it more functional and bright. As we were searching the internet for design assistance, we came across Humanity Home & Cabinetry. They had great reviews and the fact that it was a women owned business piqued our interest as well. Do I really need to pay for a designer? That was my big question going into the remodel. I could make decisions about flooring, cabinet style and hardware and color on my own. The answer turned out to be a resounding, "Yes!" Kelly's depth of knowledge in all of these areas was exceptional. I am thrilled with my remodel and don't think I could have done it without her advice and guidance. She is connected with many vendors and tradespeople which made for seamless transactions. I respect Kelly's eye for color and design. I felt as though I made better choices after I explained what features I wanted and what styles I admired; she could then direct me to samples of my liking. She was very generous with her time and I never felt rushed or that any question or concern was too small. She is also very detail-oriented and I appreciate that. I could not have been happier with my choice of Humanity Home & Cabinetry and Kelly's services. It was money so well spent.
