It's a great place to stay. Quiet, lovely rooms, and is centrally located near great restaurants. A'roma roasters across the street has really good coffee. The Internet is kind of sketchy, if that's important to you, but is balanced out by everything else.

I had a great experience here. I love historical hotels. The room was so cute and I just adored the bathroom. So many great restaurants and shops near by. The front desk customer service was top notch. I really appreciate the hospitality. I will be back.
Walkability: This hotel is right in historic railroad square a subdivision of downtown Santa Rosa. There’s so many shops and restaurants here.
Food and drinks: The restaurant attached to the hotel is fabulous.

Beautifully appointed lobby of main hotel & Carriage House room.
Walkability: Easy walk to a fantastic Thai restaurant right around the corner. One block from the train station but country quiet.

We had a great experience here! They do a great job keeping the place clean and comfortable. Our room was small with minimal amenities but I expected that. The bed was surprisingly so comfortable. We stayed on the top floor and our room had a huge window in the roof that opened up and let in a lot of natural light and air flow, it was nice. I loved all of the paintings with dogs. Great location, you can walk to dinner/shopping. I’ve always wanted to stay in a cute historic hotel and this place lived up to my expectations. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location, easy access for many nice things there. I was disappointed with the care of the building itself. The age would have the old hardwood floors, The doors would not be painted white, and a microwave would have been greatly appreciated. I love going to old, buildings, especially hotels. Bring the building back to its old self.
Rooms: Like I said, The building needs a couple of million to upgrade the whole building.

Good location and very reasonable prices rooms. We did not eat in restaurant connected to Hotel but the menu was interesting. We will try it next time.

We did a Climate bike ride in Santa Rosa and needed a central place to stay. Hotel la Rose was easy to find, affordable and safe off street parking. Rooms are small but well equipped. Very antique and charming hotel.
Rooms: Had air conditioning, small , no elevator. Very quiet and comfortable.
Nearby activities: Many good restaurants in SantaRosa to explore! We visited Kendal Jackson Winery, very close and beautiful gardens!

We loved our room & walking distance to food, bars, salons, movies, shops & the mall. We had 3 days & plan to return to do the rest. The place is very clean & relaxing. Parking is cheap & the staff is very accommodating.

Polite and friendly staff and the location is well worth it for visiting wine country. Restaurants in the railroad square are fantastic and within walking distance. Ratings could have been all 5 stars but for a 4 night stay we asked for room cleaning and service but had to wait for an extra day so can only give 3 stars for room cleaning services.
We will definitely stay there again!

The staff was very kind & welcoming when we arrived at 11:30pm after attending a wedding. I was very happy to find they offer a 24hr front desk for late check-ins since we didn’t make it before the wedding as planned!
Old Victorian charm, rooms were nice & comfortable. I would definitely stay again if in the area! It’s also very close to other Sonoma county jewels, so it would be a good base for anyone wanting to save a little by avoiding the over priced hotels in the main wine country cities.
