Very nice people. Unfortunately, the mechanics could not resolve a check engine light problem on my 2006 Toyota 4Runner even after 3 attempts, $1,251.62 in costs, and time spent driving back and forth to drop off and pick up the car. I had already checked the codes which suggested a bad gas cap. I therefore replaced the gas cap myself by buying a gas cap through an online Toyota dealer but this did not solve the problem. I took the car to Hahn. The initial $300 to diagnose including a smoke test did not pick up a leaking gas cap and the evap canister was replaced after being told that was the problem. Check engine light came back on within the week. When I returned, they suggested it was my fault and had over-filled the tank at the gas station because gas was found in the evap canister when it was removed. I had filled it up the same way for the past 5 years and they suggested that one fill-up had somehow ruined it. Nevertheless, they replaced the canister under warranty with another Toyota canister. Again, the check engine light came on and I returned 2 weeks later. This time, they smoked it again and said they had found a small leak through the gas cap and replaced it with a non-Toyota gas cap. The new gas cap was a better fit than the online Toyota part but a month later, the check engine light came back on with the same codes. At this point, I no longer had confidence in Hahn Automotive and it was worthless to take the car back to them. I strongly suspected a bad gas cap all along. Months went by and I finally got around to buying a 3rd gas cap locally from the Toyota dealer. This time there was a noticeable difference in how it fit. It’s been a week and no check engine light. Problem solved. Unfortunately, it was a very, very expensive gas cap and Hahn should have caught it from the beginning. Instead, they took me down a very expensive and time-wasting hole.

Would like to tell you of my experience today. Brought in my new chrome alternator. Need to switch a bracket off my old one. Didn’t have the tools to do the work myself. The staff was extremely friendly. They grabbed my new alternator. Switched the bracket around for me. They informed me that they used to focus on alternators and starters. So it was like they have done this before. As I was getting ready to go up and pay. They said don’t worry about it. How cool is that. Extremely grateful and definitely recommend bringing all your automotive needs to there shop. Thanks.

Turn signals was the issue they fixed the wiring which worked for about a week when I brought it back to them claimed the issue was the combo switch swapped out the combo switch with a brand new one myself to avoid paying an extra $400 for a simple job low and behold turn signals still don't work which means they didn't bother to actually check their work when I brought it back to them will be taking my business elsewhere from now on
