I bought a few yards of their organic compost over the winter to add to my raised beds. I have no idea what was wrong with this stuff but this is the worst garden I've ever had. All my plants look stunted--lettuce, tomatoes, squash, everything. The beds were I didn't add it were fine. No idea what is wrong with it but it did have bits of plastic throughout. It seems fine as mulch around my fruit trees. I've never had a problem from other places.

Great place to take your yard waste, with super affordable pricing. I went to the dump on santa rosa Avenue, and they wanted $85. At grab and grow it cost $20. It's nice that the yard wate is recycled into mulch and other products.

My mom has been raving about their compost for 20 years, so I checked it out. Picked up half a yard of good organic compost today for $30. If you aren't sure how much you need or can haul, that was enough to fill the trunk of a Subaru forester 2/3 to the ceiling and a few bags in the back seat. Guy at the front counter was friendly and provided good instructions since I hadn't been before and made sure I got the product I needed. Took 10 minutes from when I pulled in to when we started shoveling. Took me and the 2 people I dragged along another 10 minutes to get it all bagged and loaded. They had everything needed there -bags, bottomless buckets, shovels, and zip ties for the bags. A person could totally do it on their own, but it's a workout, the buckets mean you don't need anyone holding bags.

Worst compost I’ve bought in a long time. Zero humus structure, pretty much just expensive mulch. Will never be getting compost from here again. I’ll be sticking with cold creek who actually knows how to make compost
