Poorest Customers experience I think I ever received from a Macys and related store. Bought a Pair of kids Nike shoes 3 weeks ago . The heels were falling apart so I went to return them. Brought the receipt.. Macys/Finish line policy says 30 days for defects. The "Manager " I use that term loosely because of the disrespect and flat out lack of customer service displayed by Angel was some of the worst I have ever experienced. He Flat out refused the return stating that they had been worn and I needed to return to Nike . I told him Nikes policy was beyond 60 days they but before I had to return to original point of sales . ie Macys/FL I not gonna lie and say I didn't loose my cool a bit . I said I like to to talk to his manager he looked me dead in the eye and said "I am the Manager " I said great Give me your district manager's phone number . He flat out refused.. piss poor customer service. I'm not a "Ken" I leave a good review when I experience it but this guy was flat out rude and disrespectful. I will never shop there again.

If I could give it zero I would. Angel, the so called manager, refused to return a pair of shoes for my 8 year old that fell apart before 30 days was up. He refused to help at every turn and offered no resolution to my problem.

This place has a classic design. everything looking in order. This place is located at the second floor inside the Macy's. from inside the mall is right at the entrance. unfortunately i did not see anybody approach the salesman and business looks super slow. checked the prices and looked reasonable! Shop there!

Well, Mason just lost out on a $4000 purchase by not answering the phone after 10 minutes of us ridiculous voicemail option. I waited on hold and two departments for over 10 minutes. Happy to take my business elsewhere.

So, I hate to be the person that walks into a store 15 minutes before closing time and have to ask an associate for help, but that's exactly what happened. I'm in the process of moving, and last Saturday night I realized all my dress clothes had been packed away and I had nothing to wear to Church the next day. I got down to Macys 15-20ish minutes before closing and quickly scanned the mens Ralph Lauren Polo section for something that would work for me. I decided on a shirt, but they were all locked together by cable. It took a couple minutes to find an employee available, they were all preoccupied with closing procedures. Connor was leading a clothing rack through the store but happily agreed to come over and unlock the shirt for me. He realized he didn't have the correct key, so he radioed out for someone to assist who does. He received no response, so he asked me to please wait while he ran to grab the key. When we finally got the shirts unlocked, we had to go through and check the tags to find one in my size. There were many shirts to check and I wear an uncommon size(Extra-Large, Extra-Slim Fit), so I felt the need to apologize and thank him a few times, but it seemed unnecessary. Connor had a great attitude and was super helpful. Unfortunately they did not have my size in stock, but I saw some pants that would work nicely. These were also locked up but had a different lock, so Connor had to go grab another key for the pants. I apologized again, there being only 2 or 3 minutes before closing, and kind of expected him to be bent out of shape for taking him away from his closing duties. But it was actually quite the opposite, he was really friendly and had good conversation, even told me a little bit about his mother. After unlocking the pants, he walked me over to the register and rang me up. That's great customer service. I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 5 because the pants I bought, albeit very nice, had a price tag that I felt was high end for industry standards. I was also disappointed that they did not carry my size.

What has happened to Macys? It used to be such a nice place to shop. I don't mind the sales associates approaching me every few minutes - it's better than being ignored or weird vibed. What bummed me out was the presence of a group of guys hanging out in the dressing room lounge area (over by the Tommy Hilfiger area). Thought at first they were waiting for someone but nope. They were just kicking back, watching a movie LOUD on one of their phones. Maybe even taking pictures of women coming out of the dressing rooms? Once their buddy came to the middle of the floor and loud whistles for them to leave, I knew they were just being obnoxious. What irritates me is that there were sales people all over that area. Why would they allow this? Are they not getting paid enough to care? Wtf is going on?

What happened to Macys ??? This store used to be the store to shop at for all the best clothing at a great price. $$$ I went shopping in the store located in the downtown mall. No cashiers available. I had to goto the shoe department to check out??? Very little sizes available for all the styles I was interested in. No one to ask questions. I'm so disappointed in the service. Or should I say what service? There was no sales people on the floor to help me with any questions. How is this store surviving?

I'm carrying around 2-3 suits trying to find correct sizes and accessories while 4 employees stand around chatting. A few minutes was fine - it's the holidays I get it,but after about 10 minutes or so of struggling to carry everything and search I just put everything on the closest rack and headed to nordstroms.

Hello. I've been a customer of Macy's since I was a kid. Purchase a Adidas hoodie for $33 I go to the store quite often not dress just like everyone else. But when I went to the store yesterday, I noticed a theater in front of me. I mean they're all acting. Security was all over the place they had nothing else to do put bother me when I'm shopping. They were very intimidating to me. They acted like they were buying clothing but they was not. Well they had nothing else to do but bother me and my spending. The cashier lady was very nice but she was acting weird. I feel a little nervous going in the stores these days. The employees they're just being aggressive towards people of color.I've been shopping at Macy's in New York City. Their security never bothered as ever. Santa Rosa is a very racist town. Everybody starting to know it even the people that you don't see that look at you. I'm tired of being harassed by people that work in Santa Rosa stores. And by the way I'm a Macy's credit card holder with great credit.

Let me tell you, this is probably the only place in that mall that deserves any real recognition. I was not sure if Macy's was going to survive, but this location did: so far anyway, unfortunately there is really not a lot of people going to this more now that they reopened after Covid. I'm not from here but I've never perceived it as a good mall, it's 75% cheesy, but Macy's and Starbucks and a couple of other brands, are the only thing that I can say anything good about. this particular Macy's is at the very end, so if you don't park nearby you'll have to walk by doing so inside is easy on any floor. I was in the men's clothing section which was completely empty, but I needed some assistance finding some thing in my size and Marvin helped me out... And when I say he help me out, I mean he was an efficient employee --unlike the other incompetent people in that mall. The item was not in stock but he located it in a different area and he is having it mailed to my home with free shipping. The store is very well cared for and I also dealt with a girl at the Clinique counter to buy some items for my girlfriend and she was also very knowledgeable... I think this Macy's and the apple store are the only reason to ever go to this mall. The smallest is not well taken care of, even the soda machines are funky because nobody changed any of the soda during Covid so you will be buying soda with an expiration date that has passed. I think it says a lot about this place, run down and decrepit. But the Macy's is exceptional-- or rather, anytime I go into a place that I am already used to on the East Coast in New York, it's always a disappointment out here, this is the only one that I could actually say, Is run right. Because I'm going to be honest some people out here are very slow and have really bad attitudes, but not at this Macy's , they are taking pride in their work.

We bought a couch (3k)at Macys three years ago. During the sales process we were coaxed into purchasing the Worry No More protection program. I think it was $500 extra. Within the first two months of owning the couch our dog chewed the cushions (covered under the warranty We called Worry No More to file a claim. They came out a couple of months later and fixed two of the cushions when i asked about the other cushions that they omitted from the claim they said i would need to file another claim. I did. They fixed another part of the couch and asked me to file another claim. I did in july of last year. Its now April almost a full year later and two and a half years from the incident. The claim is still open. When i called to check on the status of the claim they blamed the delay on China and the Corona Virus. So I opted to contact the Store and speak to the department Manager Marshall. He told me he could fix this issue. After a lot of back and fourth he handed me off to Natalie who said she would get it to the regional VP for Worry No More. She didnt. Instead they gave me a number to call. When i called that number it went directly to a Man in the Philippines who shouted at me that he couldnt help me and he once again gave me the number to Worry No More customer service. He said i should file a claim. I told him I cant since i still have a claim open. My point is dont waste you time go anywhere other than macys when purchasing furniture

This review is customer service related. There is usually 3 levels of customer service, poor, food, or excellent, this store has a tendency to be EXCESSIVE, to the point that your feel harassed! Within a span of maybe 3-4 minutes I was asked "can I..." by three sales clerks, four different times, and they saw each other ask me, sometimes shoppers just want to look, maybe text some folks at home and see if they want, and which one they want, and confirm which size, maybe we need to check out C.C or bank account to confirm all is well before we make this purchase, as sometimes it is unexpected surprise to find items, especially in these scarce times; Other-times we may be calculating the discounts and totals on our calculators, and then sometimes we need to do all and maybe even other things prior to making up our minds. It was a terrible experience to shop there, and this is not the first time, ever since COVID the store is like a bunch of insanely board employees that are on the hunt for the lonely customer to pounce! I truly felt like an injured creature being circled by vultures! At a certain point your attentions to customers is not welcoming and helpful, it becomes unwelcoming and harassing, and makes me (and likely many other shoppers) uncomfortable and unwelcoming! You are not the only Macy's doing this, I have experienced this at your Coddingtown and San Rafael locations as well, I experienced clerks chasing me through the store hollering can I help you, through three departments, I had headset in and didn't hear them, but thought it strange someone was asking me that while I was in the middle of the isle not even looking at anything, I found out about the three department chase from a couple that watched her and were amused and a bit shocked, they said you must spend a lot of money here or thought maybe everyone now worked on commission. I was told by a security guard " you are the only customer in the store", it wasn't true, but I was one of only a few, maybe just maybe people aren't coming to the stores because your staff has made the experience so awkward and uncomfortable that people would rather avoid your store, I know unless I need to return something I will visit the web for my shopping until the memory of the hunted and unwelcome experience fades from my memory!!

I love Macy's Coddingtown because I never see any sales associates, except occasionally when I go to pay! I hate it when sales associates stalk you- I just leave wherever it is I'm shopping. Luckily I haven't had that experience at Macy's. I hope I never do. I sometimes go to shop as a form of relaxation honestly. It would suck if that sales person "watching" you started to happen at Macy's. There'd be no where to go, but the way things are going that's days I wouldn't be surprised. No one seems to care about a persons shopping experience anymore.
