Having to touch and check used drier machines shouldn't be part of the paid laundry experience. It's frustrating. I know for a fact that Laundry mats can be profitable. How hard is it to have someone come and check the machines once a month? The thing that makes me angry is that there are many illegal immigrants who don't really speak English very well and can't communicate and call the owner of the facility and ask for their money back -- granted, that's on them, but this seems to be the case at every damn laundry mat. I can't wait to have my own home, my own laundry & drier machines so I don't have to put up with this crap. I'm grateful I have the ability to communicate and demand my money back should one of the machines not work. A quarter is a quarter. If you go into a restaurant or a grocery store and pay your hard-earned money for something you're not receiving, is that acceptable? I think not...I can't wait to have my own machines. This experience has just pushed me over the edge to find a well-paying job, get my together and never have to deal with this -- ever -- again! Dutton Ave Coin Laundry, Avenue Laundry...if you have a car start going to the laundry mat in Windsor, or the one in Healdsburg, this happen to me once in Healdsburg, (drier ate my coins and didn't dry, but it hasn't happened since, & Windsor, this have never happened to me, ever! (Knock on wood ). I praise the business owners who give a damn and have enough respect for us, their customers to check and make sure that the machines work properly -- sadly, this is not one of those business owners.
