H&R block was much more helpful. Which you wouldn't think would be the case with the outrages rates Cromwell tax charges. They are far from professional or accurate.

Cromwell handled the taxes for my Mother-in-Law from the time she moved to Santa Rosa until her passing. This included the taxes surrounding her Trust, as well. Each and every year, the details were attended to, efficiently and ahead of any deadlines. Additionally, my husband is self-employed. He belongs to a leads group here in Sonoma County that is well over 40 years old. The reasons we sought Cromwell's services for his parents were: A. This is a 3rd generation CPA firm B. For his entire time in this leads group, other members testimonials never wavered from the positives; ahead of time, accurate, know the ever changing rules & regs inside & out which resulted in saving them significant sums of money C. Referrals to them that have never stopped from other members who are: Attorneys, Investment Professionals, Licensed Fiduciaries, and many small business owners in the group. (He is still in this leads group. If he had ever needed to change from his very long-time CPA firm he has been with for years before he joined the leads group, the choice was already made) D. Accessibility. Simply put, when we reached out we were able to get to the issue at hand right away because they would answer their phones &/or our emails. This is our experience for the last 8 years with his Mom and her taxes handled by the Cromwell Group.

Having a qualified, experienced and understanding professional handle your books/taxes, it is well worth the money you pay them.Call CTB and ask them to help you.Yes, It's true they can help save your business a good amount of money but more importantly they give you the confidence going forward too!

My taxes were done by a qualified person and money was saved due to her suggestion. Last year was my first experience. I just called to make a phone appointment and was booted out because their bookkeeper departed. Although I again requested assistance through their company (which had been recommended), they insisted I call the bookkeeper who left and would not help me. I was very specific asking for their help, but they would not respond to my request.

This is my reply to Cromwell tax service:Hi Pam, Nice to hear from you and I am glad you are happy in your new town. I would be happy to do your 2019 taxes for you. I will need all tax documents just like the year before. The final settlement statement will work for the sale of your home. That being said, since you will not have California source income this year, you may be better served by having a local tax preparer help you who knows the Oregon laws better than me (they will probably be less expensive too). But I am here for you if you want me! This was my 1st email from Madelyn, and then the next email she terminated our service with her. I believe one reason was due to a few remarks I stated about our Fudiciary from my mother's trust, and she knew the man I remarked on...afterwards she terminated working with us.....I felt I guess I don't have any right to make comments on a person who was supposed to work for our best interest and did NOT do that? Is that a good reason to drop a client? You tell me! Again she was "tart" as she explains it as being "direct"....Big difference when I am supposed to the customer....???? Thanks but NO thanks. I did find a local person who went above my expectations, and was kind, courteous, and respectful...
