Already sing loudly how much we love this place. Camp and riding is always great and staff is amazing but everyone also needs to get their amazing bbq sauce!

Cloverleaf is the most magical place! From going as a child myself, it has been an absolute dream to watch my own children go to camp here. The independence they learn while having fun is something you can’t get anywhere else. The amount of activities they get to partake in is incomparable to anywhere else. The staff are the kindest and most fun adults that my kids get to interact with all summer. They take safety as their #1 priority while getting campers to learn and try new things they couldn’t get anywhere else.

I have been going to Cloverleaf for years and have been a summer day camper, resident camper, and have taken horse back riding lessons and gone on trail rides. In all of my time at Cloverleaf I have seen that they take excellent care of their horses and all other services are great. Both types of summer camp were very fun with many different types of activities. The trail rides are beautiful and peaceful. The lessons are super informative.
I hadn’t ridden in some time and recently went in for a lesson with the instructor Tessie, within one lesson my riding skills had advanced a lot more. I was much more comfortable and confident with my abilities than when I started. I also got to learn new skills within horseback riding that I hadn’t known existed, even as someone who has watched a lot of horseback riding. In previous lessons as well, each instructor has known a lot of knowledge on horseback riding, and has been helpful, kind, respectful, and a good teacher.
I am also part of the LGBTQIA+ community and they have always been accepting and never discriminated. I can confidently say that Cloverleaf is an excellent business, is good at what they do, and takes care of their horses well.

I have boarded my horse here for coming up on 2 years, have been taking lessons for upwards of 3, and have been periodically doing the summer/resident camp for 10; and not once have I been disappointed with my experience! The sense of community at Cloverleaf Ranch is unparalleled, and I can say, with complete honesty, that this place feels like a second home and family to me. One of my favorite things about this place is how incredibly friendly and helpful the people are. As a new horse owner, no one hesitated to answer any of my questions with kindness and patience (even if it was a no-brainer). Over the years, I’ve taken many lessons at many other barns, and never have I progressed as quickly in horsemanship and riding experience as I have here. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also passionate about teaching, creating an environment for learning and growth for ALL ages, whether you are getting back into riding after a break or are a brand new equestrian! The entirety of the ranch is also very well kept with pleasant to look at "old-west" aesthetic; the trails are GORGEOUS and easy to navigate; the pastures and stalls are secure; and the arenas are large, level, and very clean. It is obvious that the safety and well-being of both the horses and people is a top priority here. Many precautions are taken for everyone to have the best experience possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Cloverleaf Ranch to anyone looking for a top-notch equestrian facility with a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional amenities.

Wow....Very unfriendly staff that I experienced at this place. I stopped by a corral that they have right off of the main street which contained 2 muddy horses after the rain. I am an absolute animal lover and I am a veterinary technician so I am around a lot of animals and know their behaviors well. I went with the intention of admiring them and petting them if they decided to be social? and approach over the fence. This employee who was located in a different area farther away was... I beleive teaching children at the time how to ride horses. She looked over at me and yelled out " dont feed the horses!!!' In an unpleasant rude manner in which I replied " I'm not feeding the horses" and I showed my hands in the air so she could see that I had nothing in my hands. The horse ended up approaching me and so I extended my arm for it to smell my hand. The employee/or owner at this point yelled again not to feed the horses which again I showed my hands in the air, and at this point she yelled that I am not allowed to pet the horses... which I informed her that I did not pet the horse (which I had not yet), she replied with " yeah.... but you were going too!.... I saw your hand reach out!.....You need to leave! Or I am going to call the police! , at this point she got her client children all nervous and scared by her behavior, I could tell by their faces and body language. I asked where the property line was because I really felt bullied at this point and backed up to where she said it ended and stood there to keep admiring the two horses. I could not beleive the ridiculous stuff comming out of her mouth. There was no reason for this woman to handle the situation in the manner in which she did. Especially in front of impressionable kids. At this point I was very confused by this whole strange interaction with this woman getting off on a wierd power trip, which began with me admiring 2 horses located in a small enclosed area right off the street. This woman behaved this way I beleive to show off her power to her clients or who knows why????? Or the fact that her acusation of me feeding the horses was wrong so she had to take it to the next level which was " dont pet the horses"! as to not look like she is in the wrong in front of clients. There are so many other places to take your business to. Steer clear of this place... unless you want your kids surrounded by this type of personality.

Our family has been having fun in all of these ways and more at Cloverleaf for almost a decade - we can’t recommend it highly enough!

As a horse woman with 10+ years of riding experience and have owned several horses, I can say for a fact Cloverleaf Ranch is one of the best facilities in the area.
Not only is the riding program carefully crafted for success, their care for their horses is exceptional and well thought out.
Every pasture has natural shelters, water buckets, and hay twice a day. Their barns are fully roofed and protect horses from the weather when resting.
All horses have custom needs and this ranch understands that - if a horse needs certain requirements like grain or a certain type of hay, Cloverleaf Ranch will provide it without hesitation.
This is peak care.

I don't believe they treat their horses right or fairly. I drive past this place every day. But today I noticed more than half of the horses were under cover from the rain, WEL 4 of them stood outside the Covered area huddled together under a small tree. WELL I called and asked the lady why they were separated and if they had access to Cover like the other horses did, she seemed annoyed in responding that they can't FORCE the horses under cover and they did in fact have access to the covered area with the other horses. I did in fact have to go back that way so I stopped to check if she was telling the truth AND SHE WAS NOT THEY HAD ZERO ACCESS TO COVER ALL GATES IN FACT WERE CLOSED AND LOCKED. ITS POURING RAIN AND ITS NOTNGOING TO STOP RAINING. WHAT IS WRONG W THESE PEOPLE?!?! not ok I feel as it'd cruelty in a way and maybe they should go be with the horses and know what it feels like cause that's not okay. And why would you lie if I already right there and can SEE she's not being an honest kind horse owner. Have a heart!! And yes I did make sure to do more than just write this bad review. For the horses. :)

“I don’t want to be a cowboy anymore.” This is verbatim what my 5 year old said after a set of interactions with this place. Strongly advise not to come to this place if you are looking for good quality riding lessons, grounded in empathy for young children. If you do, try to insist that they start your ‘30 minute’ session on time. You can be sure that they will finish on time…which can leave you short changed by 5-10 mins of time. Either way, would advise looking elsewhere.

Very racist. I was discriminated against and eventually kicked out for something I didn’t do. Even when I explained my side of the story they yelled at me and said very horrible things to me. People at my session had done things much worse than I did but weren’t reprimanded (all of them were white). I may be wrong but i know I’m never going back. Also don’t send children over 10 there. It’s not a welcoming space for teenagers who are going through puberty.

Our four kiddos attended camp for the week of 4th of July, and had the best time! They loved the camping under the stars, the s'mores, the staff, and all of the specialty activities. Best of all, they have developed friendships that have continued after camp. They all asked if they could return for another week this summer! I enjoyed receiving photos and videos of their activities throughout the week. I would definitely recommend Cloverleaf!

What an incredible summer! My 13 yr old niece went to Resident Camp this summer and had the time of her life! She has never done a sleep away camp before and she was VERY nervous about spending time away from her family. (And her freeking phone.) The staff there did such a great job calming her nerves and tackling her fears. She sent us a letter telling us she didn't ever want to leave. I have never heard someone talk about a zip line so much. Her counselor Reef was fantastic. We can't wait to sign her up for next summer!Thank you for teaching her there are much better things in this world than spending all your time on your phone. She will walk into middle school this year with a bold new outlook and camp friends too.

Cloverleaf does it again! Year after year, this establishment never disappoints. From the amazingly cool counselors, to the various activities. Everyone knows who you are, and I feel super safe dropping my child off. You get a little bit of everything here, and it's the best.

My 13-year old son attended the sleep-away summer camp, and the vast majority of the other kids were much younger (under 10). Within the first two days of camp, two of the older kids were sent home from the camp for actions which were absolutely not reasons I would think would require sending someone home from the camp and forfeiting their parent's (not inexpensive) tuition money. The worst part of this was that the camp did not explain, in any way, to my son what happened to his new friends. He was scared and worried and concerned for their safety, and the camp refused to confirm that they were safe. Many of the counselors were very nice and my son really liked them. Two counselors were not good. The first was a male who actually physically pushed my son's friend out of the way. The second was a female who, when my son was upset about his missing friends and was crying, told him to "stop acting like a baby" and said his friend who was no longer at camp was a "bad person." When we picked our son up from camp after his first solo week away from home, this had all built up to a point where he was emotionally distraught. We had spent the week thinking he had had a wonderful time, only to find out that he had been struggling emotionally for days and no one had offered him any support. I cannot recommend this camp for anyone, but especially not kids over 10. The camp does not train their counselors how to deal with older children who have more complex analytical and emotional capacities than the little ones, and the camp's response to dealing with the older kids appears to be to send them home with the slimmest of excuses.
