Zack Swad has been our financial advisor for more than 4 years. Over that time he has provided excellent advice for investing our retirement portfolio to make it last as long as we do! Earlier this year, he talked us off the ledge when we were very concerned about the impact of election uncertainties on our investments. He did this by providing us with an updated analysis and projections on our accounts under various scenarios. After reviewing the analysis with Zack and an associate, we decided to stay the course and were glad we did. We highly recommend Zack. In addition to his financial and investment creds, he is personably and friendly.

The last few months, I have been working with Zack Swad at the Santa Rosa Charles Schwab office, and his assistance and advice on Retirement Planning, Risk Assessment and Asset Protection have been invaluable in planning for my financial future. His services have been extremely educational and useful in my future financial planning. I never felt any pressure to purchase other Charles Schwab's services, but I have come to realize the utility of some of the offered services and will be seeking those in the near future.Zack was very thorough in learning about me and my financial goals. He took the time to utilize that knowledge in the most financially beneficial way for me. I would highly recommend him!

I've received consistently excellent service from Charles Schwab for over 20 years. They've offered needed investment advice and monitored my investments throughout the years. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

For years I kept getting emails saying that a Schwab consultant would work with me and I ignored them. A few months ago I was making major decisions and decided to give it a try. Wow, was that the right thing to do. Zach Swad has been amazing. He took the time to understand what we wanted and helped build a plan that allowed us to achieve our goals. After that he helped us find a partner organization that could help us manage our finances. Making that call was a very good decision!

I transferred all my investments from another management firm a few years ago because of minimal response from the manager. Years later, I'm still so happy with that decision! Zack S. has been there every step of the way and my investments take care of themselves. We have at least an annual talk and when I do have extra questions, they're answered quickly and completely. I moved out of the area a few years ago and have been successfully working with Zack S. to take care of my investments via email and calls. Thank you, it's one less thing to worry about!

My wife and I have had a brokerage account and bank account with Schwab for 20 years. Currently, we are transitioning to our retirement. We contacted Mark Vera at the Santa Rosa office who has been providing us with invaluable help and guidance through the multitude of decisions that need to made in rolling out of work and into retirement. The ultimate decisions are ours but making prudent decisions must be made with advice from experts, like Mark. Mark is professional, friendly and knowledgable. Along with a professional support team Mark has set our minds at ease and given my wife the confidence to "pull the plug" at work. Thanks Mark

I inherited stocks after my Dad died that were managed by Charles Schwab and my 2 daughters also inherited them. Our daughter who took care of my Dad lives closest to the Napa office about an hour away. The Napa Financial Adviser for our account called me on the phone and was very friendly and wanted to come all the way to our home in Santa Rosa to introduce himself and stay the advisor for my account like he is for our 2 daughters who had visited the office in person after my Dad died to sign papers. I said it was more convenient for me to work with the Santa Rosa branch and walked in to have appointment with one of their advisors. He was pleasant enough but when tried to call him over a year later about adding money to my account, he wouldn't return my call. My husband and I decided to move his traditional IRA from Fidelity to Schwab since had been losing money in most of the Fidelity Mutual Funds and his financial advisor wouldn't even let our calls go through to him. Everyone I talked to on the phone with Schwab in their Denver office was very helpful and professional, but what they stated in emails after phone conversations turned out not to be true. First an application to open and move my husband's IRA was emailed to download with a mailing address or said to take into the Santa Rosa Office. We took it in because taking a check to add to my account, and we wanted to make sure had all the correct information on the application. The woman who runs the front office, first said, it was an old application - it had been sent by email only a few days before. Then she said a page was missing. I accidently left at home the one page that requires only that one box not checked if agreed to online communication. First she said we would have to take the whole application back home to get the missing page - about a 30 minute drive and inconvenient. Then she printed the page and was able to accept the application. I help manage my husband's IRA account since we are seniors with health conditions. Schwab emailed a Power of Attorney form and said had to be notarized and just take to a Schwab office to have done. After making another inconvenient trip to the downtown office was told that we had to make an appointment to have notarized. While there I asked for a mailing envelope since we have a notary who comes to our home. The envelope wasn't even long enough to hold one sheet of paper without bending the ends and couldn't hold the 8 sheets of the Power of Attorney doc at all. The last visit to Schwab there was a pleasant young man also helping us at the front desk who wasn't there before. There are many financial advisor individual small offices in back but the last 2 visits there hasn't been one other client there in the front or back besides us and only a few of the individual offices were occupied. I wish now I would have stayed with the Napa advisor, a very friendly mature aged man who is always available on the phone when our daughters call to make withdrawals. He seems to be the only Schwab mature aged advisor and all the phone reps sound like young men also. Nothing against young men at all but wondering reason why. Also wondering how long the downtown Santa Rosa office is going to remain profitable.

Schwab staff - by phone, not this branch - made a lot of promises to get my money. They stated they had products that I wanted, but it turned out they didn't. They stated they would help me figure out a reasonable accommodation, they didn't. I kept hearing different descriptions of policy from different staff and kept hearing promises of how they were going to make things better. More falsehoods. They did open accounts without my permission. They also transferred money between my accounts without my permission (to get around company rules in the way of providing services.) I know nothing about this branch, but I'd stay away from Schwab.

I walked in to the Santa Rosa Office to find out how to add a power of attorney to my brother's account. The receptionist had an advisor come out to the lobby and he questioned me in front of another customer. I was embarrassed and quite frankly shocked at his unprofessionalism. He then told me that they don't take a walk ins but that he could make an appointment for me. I told him no thank you and that I would visit the branch where my brother's account was established. The fact that I was a woman might have been part of his dismissive attitude. I have since learned that the Santa Rosa branch does not have any women financial advisors. It is 2018! I made an appointment with a woman in the Oakland office, who was incredibly helpful and professional!

Why did I wait so long to make the switch to Schwab? I don't know, but don't wait. Make the call. My advisor is Zack Swad and he's terrific. Let him explain everything and take care of your portfolio. I'm so happy I made the change.

I went in after calling and talking with the call center. They told me that they can sell my stock certificates. When I got there I explained what the call center told me to do. She wanted to have nothing to do with me. She said they don't deal with stock certificates, only compushare stock accounts. Then tried to tell me how much it would cost like I couldn't afford it. Good by a*** Went to scotttrade and they took care of me ,no problem.
