Overall people who care to make a difference the lives of the people who need help the most. They don't seem like they have any discernible hidden agendas.

I was offered a room here ,I am in shock that a non-profit organization who receives so much money could even offer a space like this.

It’s a difficult odyssey when you have nowhere to call home. It took many months to find the “right” counselor to assist with housing navigating. The Sam Jones Shelter was undignified and dangerous and 600 Morgan St is a bit of a circus. There’s nothing easy about this. I’m grateful for the level of help that can be found, but the help is limited and there are obstacles. A low barrier pathway to stability and dignified living and more solutions for affordable permanent housing solutions is an absolute must and the only game in town is here at SRCC. Their staff is overwhelmed overworked and under stress.
