My husband brought his work vehicle in and this guy diagnosed the car incorrectly. We fixed all these parts on an engine that we still had to replace. I WOULDN'T recommend this guy as he didn't know what he was doing. He called my husband in like three times and said he had fixed the problem and the car was still turning off & making odd noises. We took it to another mechanic & he diagnosed it within a few hours. When we tried to negotiate to get some of our money back he didn't admit that he should've known the engine was bad before he even started working on it. We're small business owners & we know how important standing by your work is & although he seems honest when I've heard him speak, HE'S INCOMPETENT. It doesn't seem like he's trying to get over on his customers, it's just he didn't know what he was doing. I very rarely give bad reviews (look at my YELP history) & I try to be reasonable in my expectations but this experience wasn't good. Long story short we paid $1600 & the car wasn't fixed. We went & paid another $2500 to replace the entire engine. BUYER BEWARE!

No one likes getting the dreaded smog test needed on their yearly registration but Car Clinic made getting a smog a total breeze. They were able to get me in within 20 minutes of calling and I was thrilled to find out that I didn’t even have to get out of the car while it was being done. The appointment took less than 10 minutes and I was on the road. Cannot recommend this place enough for a fast and easy smog. Thank you!

The check engine light kept coming on. Edwin had replaced the EGR valve. He was really patient and put in a lot of work on my car to get the check engine light to stop coming on.

From now on this is the only place that I recommend for smogging. Bonus, I noticed they have a repair shop on site to fix your automobile if it doesn't pass.I have taken my car to several places to have it smogged. The last place I took it I failed twice and they made me pay both times giving me very poor advice on how to rectify the situation. There was nothing wrong per se with my car the computer had not reset.I decided I don't care I'm going to go find another place and that's how I ended up at Car Clinic and Smog.Hands down this is the most personable shop I have been to, but that alone shouldn't be the reason you go here. They are professional, courteous and helpful, things I cannot say about the other places that I've been. I did use a coupon which gave me greater valued but perhaps if you mention that Joanne and her ? Manoli sent you they might give you the same discount as well if you don't have a coupon from valupack.

Found Car Clinic & Smog after getting my registration. Owner/operator Edwin was friendly, easy to talk to and quick to get customers in & out. There's not much room on the lot to park and I didn't see a waiting room. That being said, for such a quick turn around there was no issues. If you'd looking for quick, inexpensive smog, this is a great choice!

Got my car smog test here. Friendly staff and a fair price. I did a drive in and didn't have to wait long. The test was quick and painless.Would definitely go back again. ?
