tl;dr: gave away an item we won after spending a year trying to find it. Told me to wait til they found a replacement, we found it for them, on their site, at the same location, after 3 months and they didn't follow through. After winning an auction, they gave my item to the wrong person and tried to give me something in place of it that was 1/3 the MSRP of what we won. After I declined, they instructed us to wait as they'd find us a replacement. Since we understand the nature of the business and try to be flexible, we requested something comparable, even if broken. Just to be helpful, we watched the site for the last 3 months and found the EXACT item that was mishandled at their facility. After several unanswered calls, we submitted an email and were told that they can't help us anymore and issued a refund. It's also worth adding that since they sell returns, please be careful on bidding on things that they don't show inside the box. We've purchased several items from them that were clearly used and returned. Some to the point that they were unusable. It's incredibly disappointing that their quality of service has declined so much since we have been a good customer for years.

Pretty much everything I've bought from them has had some issue with it. Video game doesn't install, umbrella button doesn't stop it from closing when you open it, etc etc, or I get there at my appointment and they can't find my item, but need me to pay for it or they'll charge my cc and relisting my item when they find it. I won't be using this site anymore. Bummer too, because it was kind of fun, but it ends up that you get what you pay for. Buyer beware.

Descriptions are not always accurate and some items are broken returns or missing parts. I bought a ceiling fan they listed as having a LED light. Not only did it never have a light (the box was clearly mark as no light) it was missing the cover plate. In spite of that, they refused to let me return it.

Don't make the grave mistake of asking Richard to take a box back. I was given a giant box to hold the two small items I have purchased. I politely handed the box back to Richard and said that I do not need this box. He then proceeded to rant about the cost of garbage and how we *the customers* are responsible for taking the boxes with us. Any person with a pair of eyes can see that the box I was given was not the original packaging of the items I bought and it is simply a means for BidRL to dispose of their trash. Very unprofessional.

This is one of the worst company owners I've ever dealt with. Gotta get your stuff on time or they're gonna sell it and they sell piece of s*** stuff with everything broken in it don't buy from this guy they go through your stuff. It's a bunch of crap. I bought a dresser there and it's missing pieces. It's all broke up don't buy from Santa Rosa bid RL.

I’ve won two items through the auction and both times have been disappointing. The first time it was stated in the item title that the item was a DOWN comforter. When I picked it up after paying I saw that it was not a down comforter and actually alternative. I took it back and asked for a refund and they were able to take it back since “it was our mistake we wrote it incorrectly” which was very nice of the guy who was there. Then I received an annoying email trying to fight the refund that I had already received making up stories that I was allergic to down and that’s why it was alternative. Like what? Whoever it was on the email said they would do the refund as a courtesy to me lol anyways, moving on to today. I picked up another item and in the pictures they provided it looked like the items were in perfect condition yet all the pieces were bent and you can clearly see as soon as you open the box but they positioned it in their pictures to where it doesn’t show. All items are as is and I understand but it wouldn’t be that difficult to take one extra step and list the defects in the details description that they never bother to fill. Not worth it in the end to bid. You never know what you’re getting and it’s not like you can stop it anytime. They’re open for only three days out of the week and you have to make an appointment. At that time the item probably was won by someone else or you won it without being REALLLLLY being able to go take a look physically since they make it so difficult

Great business I just found out about based on a friend's referral and I will definitely continue to shop around the auctions.

It's what you'd expect from an auction house like this. Hit-or-miss items that are great bargains if you know what to look out for. Another location in the city coming soon is exciting for more volume.

The owner of this place is a real life douche bag British A hole. I would never buy anything from any of his locations again. His wife Ruth is really nice but her husband is a snobby old man. He treats all his customers like trash and we are the ones supporting his business. I will also be contacting corporate to file a complaint. Also they sell broken stuff and do not disclose that in the listings.

Love this place. People are nice and always helpful. Bought lots of items. Some are missing parts but the ad tells you.

This place is a joke. I purchased an item that was an open box, and the description stated that the item had a small dent on it. The item was considered a "premium" item therefore they charged an additional 13% of the final auction price. They also have a bidding policy that if the bidding continues before the last two minutes of the auction is still live, the bidding clock will continue to reset to two minutes remaining every time another bidder bids on the item until the exhausted parties bidding give up because the price has been driven up past what they are willing to spend for the item. When I arrived to pick it up, the box was completely trashed, and parts were hanging out of it. I unloaded the parts into my vehicle and noticed that there were many missing parts from the box, and additional parts had damage beyond the only "small dent" description. There was no other indication of any missing items on the auction or other damaged pieces. All in all, there were two additional "damaged" pieces with scratches and additional dents and a total of (3) Three missing integral parts that should have been identified in the description. They claim that the pictures are what they consider proof of what is included however the pictures are not that detailed and difficult to identify if all the parts are actually included. In the end, I bid and won an item that was very poorly posted with a totally inaccurate description and negligence to identify multiple missing integral parts (even when they had the parts list printed from the manufacturer), additional parts damaged with dents and scratches and refused to back down about allowing me to return the item. DO NOT GET MIXED UP WITH THIS FRAUD BUSINESS!

This place is run by immature children, not business professionals. You need to call them out on issues with broken/incomplete items with inaccurate listing details (yes, they reuse images and descriptions when they have multiple items that are the same, you need to make sure the item they give you isn't broken or incomplete when picking up). This happened to me a few times where I had to request another item (eg a ping pong table that was broken in half vs one that wasn't). Also, never have a concern about your item that was dropped at waist level by one of their employees (eg another ping pong table). This will result in rude communication (they can't be bothered to check for damages) and disabling your account. This isn't how you run a business! Maybe they could smoke that weed in their pockets (it reeks like a dispensary most of the time) and be more chill with their customers?
