Despite many hours spent with many different departments I couldn’t get anyone at BMO to help me with a rather tough issue. Emanuelle took personal ownership and got it pushed through corporate as diligently as she could which ultimately led to its resolution. Thanks.

BMO closed my account without an email or a letter. The staff at this location is clueless about proper customer service.Apparently, they gathered that my account was closed on January 19. And here it is January 29 and no written correspondence. And the staff handled around a computer and I sat waiting. They couldn't tell me what was the issue. The account was opened on December 1st of 2023.Opening the account was difficult because the banker was incompetent. It took forever to get the account open. And I am sure that co tributes to closing an account that didn't even get used except the initial deposit.Stay away from BMO, they are worse than the big American banks.I have other banks, and even have online.Imagine if this was the only bank account I had?It was an error message at the ATM and not being able to login online.I talked to an Allison on the phone this branch and she wasn't helpful on the phone. Told me she would have the manager contact me. No call after a week and I walked in and still.Thankfully I didn't have all but the deposit.Otherwise I would give an angry bad review. Is this the correct way to run a business?Stay away from this poorly run French Canadian Bank.Brick and mortar banks are almost a dinosaur.

I have been banking with this branch for years. Nothing has changed. Everyone is still extremely friendly and helpful. I will continue to bank here.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I have been banking with Bank of the West for 3 decades. However since BMO took over the bank I had several bad experiences. They bounced or did not process checks written on my Bank of the West accounts. They have affected my credit and cost me a lot of money and embarrassment from BMO mishandling my accounts. Even with overdraft protection and a large amount of money in my checking and savings account. When I went into the branch of 4th & Farmers Lane the new manager in training asked if I had an appointment. Since when do you need an appointment to discuss their poor business practices and gross errors on their behalf. I will be closing my accounts with BMO. The really sad part is Bank of the West had great employees Mayra and Cecilia the former manager Rigo... , and gave personal service to their customers. Now I feel like a stranger who doesn't belong there. I will be closing ALL of my accounts to Redwood Credit Union. They value their customers and treat them ALL with respect. The new corporate representative in training (tall African American woman) to be the manager at this BMO branch was so off putting, intrusive and cold that we didn't even recognize our bank anymore regarding the change in tone and attitude. Our entire family is moving our accounts to the credit union. Very sad after so many decades of fine customer service that made us feel so at home. I will be sharing this info with my family friends and anyone else who will listen.

Bank of the West is now BMO and the ATM's have been replaced. EVERY single time I use the ATM I am asked what my preferred language is!!! I am born and raised in America and the language here has always been ENGLISH. Shouldn't it be common sense to have these machines default to ENGLISH? Or at least save my preferences? The red carpet has been rolled out for the illegal aliens while I'm treated like a second class CITIZEN in my own country!

I don’t usually go in but when I do I always get good service. They have more than one teller there and I always get greeted. Even though they are slightly further away from me than Coddingtown, I almost always go to this branch.

Walking in there is a lady sitting right there but didn't say as much as boo, but greeted the folks that came in after me. The tellers were quick and Allison was more than helpful with assisting me with my request. Even upon leaving there wasn't any acknowledgement. There were only 3 other customers and they were all at the teller window so not busy at all. I guess my expectations for a friendly face and greetings should be lowered these days. Just be happy there are people working.

One of the most rudest person I have ever seen! I was in line waiting for my name to be called. I hear this gentleman practically yell at this young lady because she got confused on what she was suppose to do. She asked him for a proper clarification and he told her that she had a tone( she clearly did not) and then he started to belittle her. She left crying, for someone who supposed to be customer service, a branch manager, assistant Vice President. You sure have failed at your job! I asked for his business card. I'm very glad I do not bank there, nor will I ever. He made my decision of transferring my bank to them very easy. No wonder your bank has one star. Dear Mr. Ortiz, you do Sonoma County a bitter shame! Do Sonoma County county better and improve yourself before you fail another customer. Shame on you for bank of the west for hiring such a rude person. You probably won't do anything about it.

Family, friendly atmosphere, great carrying employees. Hassle free banking! Nothing but success, with this branch, and bank, backing my business up, with any financial need I have! I recommend this Bank and branch!

Same, if I could give no stars I would. No lie they literally take your money. In so many different scandalous ways. 1 of many, long story short, they just told me that they charge a 35 dollar fee just for TRYING to make a payment and there not being enough money in the account. Usually the bank would make it negative and after a few days they would charge you a fee on top of it if the balance wasn't paid. Multiple times now Ive had money in the account, today there was 2.18, and they charged me a 35 dollar fee, leaving my account at -32.82. But why would the bank take a fee when there was 2.18 in the account you ask? Well after trying to figure this out for the 4th time this year and talking to every person at this branch, I find out today, that they charge me every time a charge tries to go thru, but there isn't enough for the entire charge! Meaning, with 2.18 in my account, if a 3 dollar charge goes thru, they will not cover the .82cents and charge a fee, they will just charge a fee and whatever bill you had will go completely unpaid. Plus you'll owe $35. This has happened 4 TIMES this year. And it took until today to get that answer. I would have left the bank the first time this happened. Every time in between when I've called and even waited to the extent of 45 minutes to speak with someone, all they can tell me is, "well we won't be able to find out what that charge is until tomorrow, for some reason we can't see it on our end just yet" "some reason" "just yet" every single time from all of them. The saddest part was when I called the 800 number on the back of the card. Waited an hour to have the guy tell me "our text message verification system isn't going thru, so unfortunately there's nothing we can do for you today" even though my account had hundreds of dollars taken from WHO KNOWS WHERE. This bank has no idea what is going on with your money. Please do NOT trust them with your money. I will be going there today to get the last of what they haven't stolen from me, and close the account. Not going to be getting my fees back from the 2 times they did it this week, that's for sure. Please do not make the same mistake I did. If you are in a tough spot like I was and this is the only bank that will take you, go to a small credit union, or just keep trying til you find someone else. This is not the bank you want to deal with. P.s. I do enjoy the staff there. Everyone is really nice. The recourses they have to help you are just very limited.

If I could give zero stars I would definitely do it! My account was HACKED! Bank Of The West did nothing. The one thing they did do was credit me $300 out of $2100 in a month and a half later they took the 300 back. My grandmother, my mother, both my daughters and myself have been with them forever. I have never been more disappointed in my life life... keeping my money in any bank now makes me very nervous.
