I advise you not to buy folk shoes here. My daughter only practiced with them about 2 times before the clasp broke. The store policy is displayed at checkout and says all items can be returned for store credit. The cashier didn't tell me that the shoes couldn't be returned before I bought them and I couldn't get credit from the store nor could they repair them.

Excellent shopping store full of authentic Mexican wares and products. It is really amazing how much inventory is available for purchase. And the variety will knock your socks off. If you are looking to upgrade or update your wardrobe, then look no further. It's time to rock that Mexican apparel vibe. A totally great idea, brought to you by Arte Mexicano. Conveniently located within the Plaza Mall in Santa Rosa. Wait until you see the huge selection of hats! Cowboy hats, this is! The really cool ones that John Wayne used to wear. And Mexican cowboys who actually work on the range, rounding up horses with a lasso. They also wear them. And I've seen them being worn by bands that are usually like at least 13 people deep, and they all dress the same and play tons of instruments. How fun! You can actually rent out a band like this for any party you may be throwing. It's a great way to show everyone how festive you really are. And you can basically get anything you need for the party at Arte Mexicano. I love the keychains myself. And the boots. Leather boots. Cowboy style. To go with the hat. Now you have to master the Mexican apparel attitude, and you are basically living a brand new life, hermano. A fiestar! En Mexico!

ARTE Mexicano is fairly new to the Plaza. It is an opportunity to share the culture of Mexico with its handmade clothing, jewelry, blankets and many more traditional offerings. I was drawn into the store by the vibrant colors. The young woman working there was very informative about the store and excited by its future potential. They have another store on Sebastopol Rd mixed in with several other stores, but this Plaza location stands out on its own.
