Gary knows his stuff I brought in my modded Mustang 5.0 not knowing what happened until Gary took a look and found the problem right away. He's very knowledgeable in all sorts of cars I'm for-sure going back to him if my car acts up! One hell of a mechanic!

Gary is my go to mechanic! I feel like because I am a women, most places feel like they can take advantage of me because of my lack in knowledge when it comes to automobiles but NOT Gary. He was very patient in describing my issues and informing me about the costs. He was transparent throughout every process which I appreciate greatly! It's difficult to find honest, good mechanics out there with the experience like Gary. I HIGHLY recommend him for all your automobile repairs!

If I could give out awards for service, Applied Automotive Service would win a shiny tall trophy suitable for display in their shop. Traveling north to Oregon from Los Angeles on a Saturday morning, my wife and I were walking out of the Walmart a few miles away when I saw a puddle of radiator fluid forming under the engine of our RV. We made it to Applied Automotive Service and, although it turned out they are closed on Saturdays, Gary and his assistant Chris happened to be there. They looked at our problem and understood the situation - which was that not until Monday could they get a new radiator or fix the existing one if fixable; that is, we were stuck through the weekend. So they helped us open up our RV's awning for the first time, brought out furniture and put it under the awning, plugged us into their electricity, gave us access to the shop's bathroom, connected us to their internet, gave us the combination to the gate so we could come and go, and even invited us to use Gary's car if we needed to get around during the weekend. And we spent a wonderful weekend there! Monday came and they got on it. They took out the radiator and by the afternoon it was repaired. Gary had given me an estimate of what it was going to cost on Saturday and now, on Monday, the bill was a third less than what I expected to pay. Fast forward: It's now been 6 weeks since we were there and the radiator is working fine. It's truly rare to get this sort of service. We love these guys.

If I could do a zero I would. First of all, when starting out they seemed ok... was referred by a friend. Then, it was problem after problem there. I have never seen a crew of completely capable people acting so incapable. They scammed me and continued to do so saying they fixed a transmission- after the 3rd transmission broke, within a year time- I realized that they never even put a new transmission in the truck in the first place. They were patching the old one. They thought that because I was a girl I wouldn't realize it. Gary seems like an ok kind of guy, but has very very strange and corrupt people working for him- and I know this because I had to hire a private investigator after our truck went missing. Not only did it go missing, it got towed because he left it on the street. So, we had to pay over 2k to get it out of impound and still have a truck with a faulty transmission. We are now out over 15k without the car being fixed, and having to go to court to recover money's spent. They took advantage of me, and I highly recommend seeking out an alternative place other than APPLIED AUTOMOTIVE. They are thieves and liars. I'm so sad and disappointed in their behavior and want to share with everyone where NOT TO GO- especially IF YOURE A WOMAN!!!!!
