“I always enjoy taking my extra items here. They receive them in the back and happily give a receipt. I think it's one of our local downtown thrift stores it's always fun to visit with her well arranged items!”
“This store looks small because it's narrow, but it has back rooms and its chock full of interesting stuff! The lady running the place (Patty I assume) is very nice. She has antiques, collectables, tools, toys, jewelry, etc. Definitely worth checking out.”
“Great store. Customer service people always very nice. It's a hit or miss. Sometimes I find some good stuff and sometimes walk out with nothing. Two things I wish they would do... They used to have a few shopping carts until one day they were all gone. I have no idea why they took them out of the store, but I wish they would bring them back as it does make shopping easier because the little baskets sometimes just aren't enough. I also really wish that they would put in a couple of dressing rooms.”
“Large selection but you’ll spend some time looking if you really want something specific. Not a lot of sized racks which makes it difficult and time consuming. I did notice the jeans were sized which was so helpful! Prices were great. Definitely a fun place to thrift. No fitting rooms. Plenty of parking.”
“I am disabled and get winded easily. I was looking for some clothes for myself and was soon overwhelmed, a sweet young lady named Mary came and helped me find some things in my size and price range. She was so helpful above and beyond her duty. Thanks again Mary.”
“I have donated and shopped here since you were first opened.I have always felt that you have the cleanest Thrift Store! Your entire inventory is always clean and in great working condition. Your prices are very reasonable and I find it’s difficult to keep my purchases down…in other words, I always spend more than I had budgeted. ?I recently brought in a full car of carefully packed (in boxes ?) items and after a woman ahead of me was finished unloading all kinds of stuff, most were loose (drapes, pillows etc) there was a fellow helping her unload…I then started to offload my boxes and placed them together, off to the side. As this woman drove away the fellow was very agitated ? and started to open many of my boxes (in and out of my car) he started telling me “we can’t take any of this” and proceeded to put some of my boxes back into my car. Needless to say, I was terribly upset and told him that I only donate my good items to your business and all the other items of very little value or condition, I give those to Goodwill! He could have cared less!I had planned to go into the store after dropping off all of my items BUT I was SO upset that I took everything over to Goodwill. I then just drove on home. I have been hesitant to return much less donate or shop (I really don’t want to run into that fellow again)So sorry to have to bring this up BUT how many others have had this same experience? From now on I’ll have my items picked up via your truck… I will not stop ? donating to your incredible organization.”
“Everyone is I have had interacted with was extremely kind. The prices are so worth it.Just remember that the employees have to deal with public all day, by hundreds daily.Knowing that, maybe ? give them a smile and appreciate the fact you aren't working there. Not all of them are rude.Besides the concept of the business. So buy, from them. It's a charity. Been around for decades. And please donate.Thank you”
“This place has supported me through two jobs with their cheap clothing. As much as I hate giving money to goodwill, this location always has some awesome button up men’s shirts, short sleeve and long sleeve. Some warnings, though: pants selection are never good, either too big or too small. Employee retention here is terrible, and usually consists of teenagers and the occasional older person. Anything that’s not shirts or pants is going to be dirty, ripped, and super old. Any thrift store is going to be a surprise when it comes to what they have in stock, and so is this one. I’ve seen brand new products from a grocery store being sold dirt cheap, whereas other days they put a price tag on broken junk.In all, if you’re familiar with thrift stores, this one is one of the worst. Stick to shirts and pants, and you’ll love what you find.”
“This place is amazing. You can find anything here. What's good to me is that they don't put out a bunch of broken items. There's a great selection of all types of clothing and the employees are always pleasant & helpful.”

1401 Rice Ave, Oxnard“I just moved across country and I’ve been donating left and right at the ventura Goodwill located on Telephone Road. I donated and also purchased a dresser for my son today. I wasn’t prepared to take home the dresser. Aiden and Barrett went above and beyond helping me out with my donation items and then figuring out a way for me to get that dresser home. Thank you so much to the both of you.!”
“GREAT GREAT STORE! Went in and found what I was looking for and things I wasn't looking for. Definitely will be going back. Overall customer service was amazing and they have great selection of name brand goods.”
“For a small goodwill they have a very good selection. I was able to snag some good looking white van like shoes that were in mint condition. Very pleased in the fire kicks that I got”
