Not super clean but manager was very helpful. For the price point it's fair.

Rooms are clean and staff were nice and attentive. I would recommend this hotel for a quick visit to the area. There are a few restaurants and cafes right around the corner.
Walkability: Easy to get to other restaurants and walk down the main street.

A cute little hotel in downtown Santa Paula.
The receptionist was so nice and attentive when we checked in.
Rooms were clean and they’re so big! We were especially surprised at the size of the restroom, we felt so small!
There’s a cute little patio on the back and good enough parking for all guests.
Walkability: Plenty of restaurants and little shops less than 5 minutes walking distance

The Santa Paula Inn is in a great location. Just steps to its downtown area with many restaurants. The Inn has plenty of parking in the back. Best thing about the place was the innkeeper. He was very personable and helpful with advice on restaurants and attractions. The hotel was a bit dated, but definitely worth the stay.

Everything was perfect except one thing. There wasn't anybody there dealing with the other patrons who were making noise up to 2:30 in the morning. Unfortunately we didn't sleep for 1 night and they didn't offer to reimburse for the night. I had to call twice to reach somebody but in the end, someone did come by and tell the others to be quiet. It's a great spot but I won't stay there again unless they fix that issue.

Pros: The price is reasonable, the location is right next to restaurants and a downtown area, the room was clean.
Cons: the walls are PAPER THIN. Without exaggeration we could hear entire conversations from outside and other rooms. There was also no one manning the front desk at all so it felt like anyone could walk in off the street. While the rooms seem to have been updated recently (wood floor and no carpet on our first floor room), it still felt very old. You could see the light coming in from outside through the cracks around the tv and the bathroom door handle had to be jiggled to work properly.
Overall the quality for the price you pay was very good and the little interaction we had with the staff was friendly. If you’re a heavy sleeper then this is a good option on a budget.

The room was a bit small, but everthing else was great. Front desk service was very good. Got to check in early with no issues and the best part was apparently there was some fixing going on room right next to mine at 7 PM ish and it went on for awhile (noisy) so I called the front desk and they took care of it right away and I thought that was great service because they could have easily said I'm sorry we have to fix this issue right now. Fridge worked great, ceiling fan was a nice touch.Walkability: Close to downtown. Pretty cool

Wow what a cool little hotel. My room was just what I needed. Clean, simple, quiet. TV worked. Shower was hot. Only small criticism. Sometimes there is no one at the front desk. I didn't know how to get a fresh bath towel.Rooms: Simple room. Cable TV and wifi. Fridge and microwave.

The staff is very unfriendly and on top of that the TV didn’t work and she wouldn’t move us to a different room or give us any different rate on the room.
