I had a great experience with the Santa Paula Rescue Center! The staff is incredibly helpful and genuinely cares about the well-being of the animals. It's clear that they always have the best interest of the animals at heart, which is truly awesome. I haven’t adopted my pet yet, but I’m confident that when we do, it’ll be the perfect addition to our family. Highly recommend this center for anyone looking to adopt!

They made me feel ugly about myself and made me feel like a bad person for having to surrender my dog when I couldn’t have it anymore and there post made it seem as if I just dumped it and ran away when I stayed there till they told us we have to leave

Horrible experience the staff was not very welcoming they made the experience confusing after filling out a form and waiting around the asked again what kinda dog and when we wanted to see a dog they weren't right foe us but did not offer any other option for a dog we could see and adopt I would not go here and I'm very concerned they are not looking to place these dogs and the shelter it self dosnt feel clean they had knowledge it were not helping any way on adopting a pet my child left crying and we did not see one dog

I went in and saw a pup. Was told to come back the next day with my dog for a meet and greet. Came back and apparently the staff was not aware of my appointment. Did do the meet and greet went well. Took her home as a foster to adopt. She was emaciated. Took her back after finding objects in her stool. After her being checked was then told I had to leave her there or adopt because she was fixed. They didn’t want her to get attached. So they would rather keep her in a shelter? Something is very wrong with this picture. Horrible rude people too!

VERY rude staff. Asia at the front desk was insanely rude when I asked her about the process of getting a stray, feral kitten medical care. I ended up leaving with the kitten because of this rude, disrespectful and unprofessional worker, Asia. When I asked her what the process was she gave me a condescending answer, talked over me and argued with me about the kitten being stray/feral. I then proceeded to explain to her that she doesn’t know how I was able to trap this kitten, and she kept talking over me and telling me “that’s not a feral cat” “it’s not feral” fighting with me over whether or not the kitten is feral. In addition to this, the whole parking lot and outside of the building reeks of urine and feces. Inside the main lobby, it also reeks terribly of urine, and makes me wonder about the overall well being and care taking of the animals that are kept here.

Situated in the City, known as SPARC.
Helpful staff, Willing to show and discuss the Animals available for adoption in a clean, relaxed setting . Unfortunately, they did not have what we were seeking; but, we will return!

They are the most friendly and caring people. I have adopted 2 pups from them and they are both healthy happy pups. They genuinely care for these dogs and kitties. The staff is extremely kind and care a lot about the animals they rescue.
