I was very disappointed with the amount of noise, the small room that didn’t smell good. But the bathroom is ridiculous! No room and a dangerous step. I tripped and fell in the middle of the night!!! Apparently this place has its own building codes. The price is too high but lawyers are expensive.

Super cool building, amenities are pretty basic but we had a great stay and staff were helpful.
We stayed here after spending the day at Six Flags, and we found our single-queen-bed room comfortable, quiet, and clean. The bedding was impeccable, mattress was fairly new (and rather soft, which isn't usually my thing, but I woke up without back issues so I'll call it not "too" soft). The building is from 1911, so electric and plumbing were later additions and the electric in particular isn't extremely reliable -- but I think that's part of the charm. Front desk lady was extremely fast to get the building guy upstairs when I called about the A/C unit not being responsive (all it took was a few tries with the On button; again: older building).
Internet may be patchy in parts of building. Room has water, coffee, shampoo/conditioner are the no-fuss variety. Didn't try the TV. Slept great, and both of us are light sleepers who are very sensitive to noise. On a busier weekend the hallway activity would be more audible but the padded carpet definitely helps.
Walkability: Easy stroll a few blocks to downtown. The sports bar had excellent egg rolls and multiple veggie options and does not skimp on drinks. Anna's cider is fantastic.

Charming old property with plenty of character but lacking in terms of comfort. Thin drapes that let outside lights in at night, old-fashioned bath tub with no grab bars and old plumbing, etc. Stayed in for dinner. Old-fashioned style Italian cuisine. Do not recommend this restaurant and we would not stay at this property again.

The overall quality and condition of the mattress in the room was terrible. My husband was not able to lie flat because he kept rolling to the edge. The mattress kept sinking and squeaking, with every shift or turn. We both had a miserable night, with very little sleep.
Right outside our window, there was a man yelling at the top of his lungs fighting with someone. It was for a considerable amount of time, and a major distraction.
There were also a couple of spiders. We killed one within 30 minutes of checking-in. We also immediately noticed that the bedsheet was stained red.
There wasn’t any new soap (just a used sliver from the last guest), and no shampoo or conditioner at all. I had to go downstairs myself to get it, since there’s no phone in the room. I wasn’t able to call anyone, or ask anyone any questions.
I think the most important part of any hotel stay is getting a quality restful sleep. A good mattress is 100% the most essential ingredient. We feel like we would’ve gotten the same amount of rest, simply by sleeping in the car.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but it just wasn't too great. I paid $160 for my partner and I to spend 1 night here. The atmosphere was amazing, the decor and vibes were rustic.
The room was probably the worst bit. The tub struggled to drain and the toilet ended up gushing water so we had to move rooms. The receptionist was very friendly and moved us immediately.
The bed was really stiff and uncomfortable. Again, the vibes and the look was very haunted-esc, but it just wasn't comfortable. The TV reception was super slow, the room smelled dusty, and it was a bit dirty.
Overall, wouldn't stay again, but it was a cool thing to do one time.

We love this “haunted” old timey hotel. Enzo’s restaurant has great food and wine, the century old fixtures, movie posters and staff are friendly and charming.
Food & drinks: Great Wine and eggplant parmigiana.

The Tavern has the old charm of being back in time. You do have to keep in mind that the tavern is over 100 years old. The rooms were not impressive, but you can find the old charm in them. The rooms were quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. I really wish I had the chance to eat in the restaurant downstairs. The paino player sounded wonderful

Poor Service. Manager has problems.
Whoever cleans the rooms did so poorly!
Found Roaches in my room as soon as we turned on the lights.
Immediately went to front desk.
They refused a refund and kept my money.
Room smelled like restroom. Just trying to get away for a weekend and turned into a headache, money loss and no weekend getaway for us. Thanks Glenn Tavern for a horrible experience and for keeping my money. Low-Life’s!
