I am looooving my haircut from Agi. The whole team at Zaine is wonderful and made me feel very welcomed as the environment was very relaxed. I enjoyed that. I wanted a change from my long boring hair and Agi did just that. She provided a variety of layers and texture and brought my hair back to life. If you're looking for a change up, go see her. She'll give you the makeover you didn't know you needed!

This was my first time going to Zaine and I decided to splurge because the reviews ere so good and it was the first time I was dying my hair so I wanted to go to a salon that knew what they were doing. First, I want to start by saying that everyone was kind, polite, and encouraging. Sarah, my stylist, consulted with her peers and was incredibly thorough and patient with my very abundant hair. However, I feel like I wasn't really heard and I am not happy with the results of the coloring or the cut. I'll expalin why: - Color: I wanted to dye my dark brown hair to a purple-ish/violet color. Sarah consulted with another person who seemed to be the mixing expert. As they discussed the best alternatives, I emphasized several times that I did NOT want my hair to be red since I kept hearing them talk about red. When Sarah came back with the dye mix, it looked very pink and I insisted I wanted a purple and not red. She and the other stylist said it would look so. But that was not the case. My hair does look red, VERY red. Yes, in certain light it looks burgundy but under the sunlight, it just loks deep red or wine. These words were mentioned in the consulting process but I insisted I wanted the color to veer towards purple/violet. I feel like they didn't take me seriously because I said it was the first time I was coloring my hair, which is very sad because I was nervous about it. - Haircut: As mentioned before, I have A LOT of hair. I usually keep it long because the weight makes it more manegeable. It was very long and dry at the ends, so I asked to cut off everything that looked unhealthy. She did so. But when the coloring was done (and my hair was clearly red) and the cut started, I said I didn't need volume and that I do NOT regularly blowdry my hair. After one was, it became clear the haircut only works if I blowdry and straighten it. Yes, I am aware that in the US people follow this process, but I am always adamant about my preference because I have very sensitive and particular hair. Overall, really dissapointing results for over $300 and a place with such great reviews. I wont dye my hair to fix the color because I don't want to keep stressing my hair, but it's likely I will try to fix the haircut.

Came here for a haircut with Agi and got just what I wanted! I asked for long subtle layers with some face frame and to keep the bottom blunt. She listened to my exact needs and executed it to perfection. I love her hair cutting technique and how meticulous she was making sure all the layers flowed perfectly. Also the salon is located in a super cute area with lots of coffee shops/restaurants nearby and the entire staff was really friendly and not pretentious. Thank you Agi! :)

That was my first time cutting my hair at Zaine Colour Salon and Agi did a great job! My hair was long but not in good condition so I wanted to cut them pretty short. I love how Agi listened and cut it exactly as I explained. I was a bit nervous about going too short so she suggested to get used to new length before cutting even shorter. I was so happy with the finally result and am not regretting it at all (a big win If you know what I mean :)). I can't wait to go back, she's really the best!

I have been going to Agi at Zaine color salon for years now. Not only is she an amazing stylist, she is fun to be around during salon/pampering time. In addition to that, the whole team there seems like a happy family, definitely including Zaine himself.

Agie is amazing at blonde. I have naturally blonde hair with dishwater roots, went to a different salon and ended up with hot roots and very damaged hair. It's been now 2 color corrections & a cut with her and I am so happy. Salon is very clean, friendly, no-nonsense just pretty hair, has easy parking and Montana Ave is great.

I have been a loyal patron of Zaine Colour Salon for almost 8 years! Everybody's great here! Melanie, who is awesome, is my regular stylist. Due to scheduling conflicts, Julie is my new go to stylist for color and cut! The first time I met Julie, she took me from light highlights, to my natural dark brunette. I'm a television actress, and a television show required me to go dark for a role. Not having my natural color for over a decade, I was naturally very nervous. The end result which included a cut, was so much more stunning and healthy than I could've imagined. I was literally lights, camera, and action ready! To say Julie is fantastic is an understatement. Her skills are exceptional, she answers every question I have, including giving me suggestions on how to keep my hair healthy, and recommendations on hair supplies that are specific to my hair's needs. She is also kind and personable. Thanks Julie! 5 stars all the way *****!

Katie is an absolute gem! Super friendly, easy to chat with, and just an all-around cool human. She not only listened patiently but turned my tangled mess into a masterpiece. The salon has a really nice environment and you can tell everyone loves working together. I'll definitely be back and would strongly recommend this salon to friends!

Sharleen is an expert with cutting curly hair! I would never get my hair cut because every time I've ever did it Always cane out in even. It was a miracle, I won't use anyone else

I'm relatively new to the area and went a few places before I finally found Sharleen to take care of my high maintenance long blonde hair. The vibe of the salon is chill and not stuffy or intimidating. Sharleen is quick but never hurried, and goes the extra mile to make sure I feel fabulous even for a partial highlight. I always leave feeling well taken care of, and would recommend to my closest friends.
