I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Pico in Santa Monica, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff at this Rite Aid location goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Not only were they knowledgeable about their products, but they also took the time to address all my questions and concerns with patience and care. It's evident that they prioritize customer service, and it truly sets them apart. Moreover, the pharmacy team demonstrated efficiency and accuracy in filling my prescriptions. I appreciate how they prioritize safety and precision in their work, ensuring that I received the correct medications in a timely manner. The cleanliness and organization of the store were also impressive.

The manager in here watches her employees work and doesn't do anything. A whole line and she is just in the room not doing anything. She does this every time I'm here. Only one person on the register. And I've been waiting in line for 30 minutes to get a refund on ice cream. Margie is the only person working here! By herself!!

I have been here a few times and I think this is a relatively quiet branch that each time I visit, I have never seen more than one cashier. The cashier today is nice and friendly, but I still have to wait for her to take care of the return and 3 other people ahead of me. She is definitely busy when I visit today especially when it starts to rain. And all the self-checkout machines are not working even I want to save time, I cannot do so.The reason I like this brach is because it has ample parking lot that never seems full, the store inside is always clean and bright, and it has beers, milk, pharmacy, snacks among others. The only drawback is occasionally we see homeless outside, but they never bother me or others. The pharmacy has more people than the front cashier, and they seem to be eager to help whenever there are people around. They seem nice as well.I rarely see kids in this store and it seems mostly adults or seniors, that is also unique for this branch. Others are not like this though.Even only one cashier, the wait is still reasonable, not too bad at all.

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND the low Stars I JUST LEFT already OVERPRICED RITE AID angry. I questioned the cashier about something on my receipt called KIDCENTS CONTRIBUTION charge and she she it's too late to opt out and she can't return my money. I never opted in; what is gong on here? I'm so angry that RITE AID would steal from me. I'm on a tight budget.

Horrible pharmacy! Run don't walk away from this place. This is the worst managed pharmacy in the USA. They have no staff and the ones they have are rude and incompetent. They do not fill prescriptions ordered by doctors offices. They are rude. They hang up on patients and physicians. They do not store their vaccines properly. They are sadistic and do not care about patients and they take breaks and have no coverage and act like they are serving burgers at Burger King not drugs people need to live. The CEO of rite aid should be fired for the abuse patients suffer here!!!!!!! Do not use. Ever.

Wow brutal, completely unacceptable customer service at the pharmacy department! That lady should not be in any customer facing role whatsoever. Just plain old rudeness that I really can't remember ever experiencing before. It's unfortunate because this is the closest drugstore to me but I will gladly be making the trek further down pico to Walgreens from here on out.

I am a physician I and advise all of my patients to use another pharmacy. They have misplaced, ignored calls and "lose prescriptions". This is after I spoke to the female pharmacist after confirming a called in prescription. There are too many other decent pharmacies in the area. I am pretty sure most patients would want their pharmacist to be responsive to their physician..... stay away!

I have kept thinking if I should write this review or not, I decided to write it when I am not upset any more...I came to my neighborhood Rite Aid on Sunday afternoon to pick up a couple of things for my daughter. I came in on my bicycle. It was getting dark outside, so I walked my bike in, while digging for my lock key inside the store, right next to the entrance. I had an intention to keep it with me if I don't find my lock key.. It was my neighborhood store, and I am a regular frequent customer. Not only I wasn't greeted or welcomed in any way by the only attendant at the register, but she gave me one look, and she said: You can't stay here with your bike!" To which I said, Wait a moment please! While she was helping a customer, she picked up a phone and threatened me by calling security. I explained, that I am looking for my lock key, and please to not escalate the situation. She called the security. MARGIE the woman at the register, you shamed me for no reason, you made me feel unwelcome and not valued as a customer at all!!!! I ended up leaving on my own, and I will think hard if I will come back to that store any time soon. Margie-you were unprofessional, mean, and not trained at all! I hope you don't run the operation in the store, since your approach towards customers will only make sure that they don't return'

I am unsure of her name, but the women pharmacist here is extremely dangerous and I highly suggest going to a different pharmacy. She loses prescriptions, does not put the correct amount of medication as prescribed, refuses to refill orders, will not communicate with doctors offices and refuses to talk with patients. You shouldn't be a pharmacist if you are going mess with people's life saving medications. I highly suggest going to any other pharmacy until she is fired from here. Don't risk your health over a healthcare worker who does not care about you or anyone else.

Horrible service. I came here for a medication that my doctor called in. He called the pharmacy and confirmed that they had the medication. When I arrived, I was told that it wasn't available and then I got attitude from the pharmacist that, "Well your doctor didn't talk to me." I was told to call around and try other Rite Aids. They didn't even try to confirm another pharmacy that had the medication. In the meantime I'm feeling ill. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Avoid this place at all costs.

I was surprised at the negative reviews, as I have always had excellent service at the pharmacy. The people who work there have gone out of their way to help me. There may come a time when something goes wrong, but I've gone to this pharmacy for many years and have been fortunate enough to always be helped in a timely and courteous manner.

HORRIBLE SERVICE . Avoid at all cost. Lady clerk was on a power trip. I was trying to make a door dash order and this lady went out of her way to work slower and kill my time because I asked her help with an order. Like I know it's not your job but damn can you be a friendly human being and help out instead of Rudely saying "you are asking for to much"

After a long-winded argument with the Rite Aid manager about providing a service and not having the funds for it I am then informed that their machine doesn't even work.

Pharmacy closes at 8. Not 9 as posted on the entrance. Not 11 as listed on the phone system. Pharmacy always takes longer than quoted. Have never had an easy/efficient prescription experience. I'd go somewhere else next time
