Exorbitant wait times for the tellers. Dingy and depressing. In the age of online banking, I can't imagine how they can keep their branch this unpleasant. They should either upgrade it or close it.

Literally the worst bank experience one could ever have. It took my going in there THREE TIMES, and calling over 10 times for them to close my account and give me my money back. WORST BANK EVER.

Saturday , this is the only branch in Santa Monica and surrounding area open and only to one o clock . Recently US Bank merged with Union Bank , so the amount of clients increased substantialy. With only one branch open , and at noon i.e. peak time , they have two bank tellers. Result , people lined to outside the door. Very unpleasant banking experience !

Horrible customer service. Asked to withdrawal money and they only offered $20’s as they were “out of money”. Don’t waste your time with this location.

I had a fairly complicated estate issue to deal with and the two people I interacted with at the bank were both very helpful and professional. I have now been to this branch a half dozen times, and each time I have been impressed with the quality of the people who work there. I made appointments online to meet with bankers, and each time there were available within a few minutes of the appointed time. I see that many of the reviews were from a year ago or longer. I have the sense that the bank is now under capable management and I would not hesitate to use this branch for any banking needs.

Do NOT open an account here! They are the absolute worst! I deposited a couple checks in the ATM outside and In the middle of the transaction the machine just dies. It spits out my ATM card, but keeps my checks even though I had not finished the transaction. I go into the bank for help and they tell me they have nothing to do with the ATM, it's not their problem. The ATM attached to their store? The one that says US Bank on it? Jose, one of the tellers, tells me the ATM guy should be coming tomorrow to fix the machine and he'll give me a call the next day. The next day he calls and says the guy isn't coming in until the end of the week. By Friday afternoon I have still heard nothing so I call Jose who tells me that the ATM guy still hasn't been in and that guy won't give my checks to the bank anyway because it's a whole different company. He tells me I need to file a claim by calling the 800 number. The bank tries to transfer me 10 times and each time can't figure out how to do it. Finally I call myself and go through the ridiculously long automated system only for the representative to tell me I cannot file a claim because I did not memorize each amount of each check I deposited (btw, the bank knew I did not have this information). I call three more times only to have each rep tell me I cannot file a claim. But the bank is telling me they cannot help me because I have to file a claim. When I explain they say they can't help. They stole my money for weeks. Luckily I didn't need it immediately, but what if I did? What if I had bills to pay, credit card payments that would have bounced? US Bank didn't care one bit about that. Not one bit. This saga goes on from there. The manager Liltet promised me she'd help and then I never heard from her again. At one point I tried calling the bank to follow up and for 8 calls in a row no one even picked up the phone at this branch. I filed complaints (and will file another for Lilet herself), but US Bank doesn't care. US Bank doesn't care about you, doesn't care about your money, and sure as hell doesn't care about your time or satisfaction. Trust me, this bank is a NIGHTMARE to deal with. They steal your money and laugh in your face.

I am furious! DO NOT BANK HERE!! This is possibly the worst bank I have ever dealt with. I opened this account in order to save money for the future. Every so often I pull out funds to pay for unexpected expenses. This time I pulled out $440. I put it in a sealed envelope drove it 9 blocks to my regular bank. I regular bank only counted $340.00. Even though I showed them proof of both transactions. At this bank the customer is never right. They refused to help me with this situation. I will be pulling my money out of this bank. Do Not waste your time.

USBank is quickly going South. I visited Torrance Branch this morning. It was closed. I visited Lomita Branch next. It was also closed. I then drove to Carson Branch. They were also closed. Today is Wednesday, but all the branch offices near my place were off including ATM. I called their central office to find wherever opens today. The central office personnel switched my calls several times, and HANG UP suddenly. What happened to those people? I now feel like I'm in the third world, scared.

Oh, the arrogance of this bank!! What recently happened to me has to be against the law. I could list several examples of why I am dissatisfied with this bank, but this is the most recent example of the greediness of their Private Banking department. Given the closure of regional banks SVB and Signature and the uncertainty of another regional bank where I have two seven-figure CDs I wanted to move my money to a larger bank. I entered my local US Bank branch to open a simple checking account. A client relationship consultant IV helped me by the name of Wes Torany. After taking my information, he advised me that due to my deposit amount, I would have to deal with the Private Banking department, and they would be calling me shortly. I received a call from Theresa Kumar, from Private Banking; she informed me she could open the account if I agreed to pay an annual service fee of $15,000.00!! When she asked if I was okay with the proposed service fee, I replied absolutely not and ended our conversation. The next and last time I walk into a US Bank branch will be to close my last remaining checking account!!

US bank in Rosemead ATM did not dispense my money but did take $100 from my account. immediately I went inside and told them to look at the video above the ATM to prove that no money was dispensed. They told me to wait for the pending to go away. Pending went away and I didn't get no money. They told me to call the 800 number and I did. After a month they denied my claim. So I told them to look at the video to see no money came out but they still denied my claim. You would think that the video would convince them to give me my money. If they were dishonest about this what else are they doing. They are dealing with a lot of our money.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I had a horrible experience with this bank and I have still not heard back from the General manager as I requested. It has been over 3 months and I have not heard from anyone at US Bank. The service that I was encouraged to take advantage of by one of the Tellers (who was actually very nice) caused me more problems than it was worth - which I did not need it to begin with.I spoke to the manager who was very rude and did not take responsibility. I am still very upset…

Incredibly frustrating dealing with the revolving door of people at US Bank....after being told that a $7 charge for my account being "dormant" I was told the charge would be reversed...then that the computer system was "down" & that I should call back the next day...when I called they said they couldn't "reverse" the $7 charge....went back to the branch & all the "bankers" I had dealt with weren't there or had quit & joined other banks...I was then told only a manager at another branch could handle such a request...Avoid US Bank if you don't want to be "ambushed" by "fees"....

Avoid this branch if you can. Horrible service and mis-managed branch. It's been mismanaged for a long time. The 2 tellers that have been there for many years are great, but since I rarely go in I haven't seen them. The recent new hires are abysmal and rude. I The branch on 23rd and Santa Monica is way better and more professional. I would leave US Bank in a heart beat but their international department in NYC has been outstanding when I do large international transactions. I hope US Corp sees this review as they need to overhaul the whole management at this branch, hire better people. If you're thinking of opening a business account here I would go elsewhere. I have personal bank accounts at Chase and Wells Fargo and the service is exponentially better.

Horrible bank. Horrible manager. 22 years of banking there and not once seeing the same teller! Not even their teller lIke to be there. surrounded by homeless And no security guard in the bank, somewhere that security should be number one concern. long lines and very rude employees with bad manner. it seems like they don't need my $$$$$$ so happily I take it else where where I be appreciated. "building a personal relationships" is the key word here and since no one lasts there good luck with that. US bank please don't respond back, at this point your response means nothing.

Terrible customer service. They refuse to give change. I used their ATM and had to pay a fee and when I needed to change the bills, they refused to do it because I didn't have an account with them. People need to stop doing business with banks that do this to people because it is not a federal regulation. It's their own way of luring you in and forcing you to do business with them. Absolutely terrible
