This store could use customer service training for its employee, Adriana. Adriana is rude and screamed at a lady customer just because the customer asked if there was another cashier available to help since Adriana was with one customer for over 20 minutes and the line of 10 customers waiting was getting longer. Adriana's response should have been kind and empathetic. It is already a bad situation in Santa Monica having to deal with homeless people doing drugs right outside of this store, then customers have to deal with a rude employee. Just makes matters worse for this store.

I visited Unleash Petco today and was blown away by the service. Firstly, Erick was very nice and could easily be a vet! My dog was scratched a lot, and I thought it was ticks, but Eric immediately identified it as a heat-related allergy. He recommended the right medication, and my dog is already doing great! Five stars for Erick, hands down!

I already know what I will be shopping for, however at check out, I stood where the line usually starts and the cashier took the person who just walked up. Then, when checking out, the seated cashier rang up my purchases and I brought my own bag to put the cans of food in - she did not help or assist in packing the bag whatsoever - and she saw that I was struggling to get them in the bag. She was pretty bad. Didn't take the initiative to assist, ask if I needed assistance and just sat there.

Nobody greeted me, plenty of employees. I was looking for something specific, guy at the counter had his face buried in his phone, two of the female employees were in the very back doing something. Then when I did get up to the front I tried to use my rewards and my phone number didn't come up. Hence why I never go into your store. I'll stick with PetSmart. The manager should be monitoring the cameras to see what the employees are doing absolutely nothing that's what they're doing nothing!

Staff was helpful and friendly. They have what I was looking for. Two-star knock for the lack of parking. Pay lot behind building, but it's usually full and it's not free. Street parking is hit or miss.
