One of the few places that sell Gunpla model kits on the Westside of Los Angeles. Lots of anime stuff but a little overpriced, but it's still better than going to smelly bum ridden Downtown LA, I'd rather pay a little more than having to deal with downtown.

The man tending the store today was very friendly! (7/30/23, 7PM) They had the birthday and animal series 1 Sonny Angels in stock. Definitely recommend it over the collectibles shop a couple doors down where the staff makes you uncomfortable to shop, lol.

I've been coming here for years and the store is always so fun. Staff are always sweet and helpful and I always find what I need (and more that I didn't intend to buy). Some things are definitely pricier than other places but considering theyre imported from Japan it's not that bad

the lady working there today ( june 29th at 1:20pm) had a bad attitude right when we she saw us walk in! As soon as my boyfriend and his sister went to grab and look at something she immediately went to go look if they had taken the item or had made a mess (which they did not and all they did was grab and take a glance at something and left it the way it was) overall just a nasty weird attitude and made us feel uncomfortable enough to leave. Do better.

Extremely bad customer service. I was there with my two non-Asian friends -- as I told my friends that we should head out, one of my friend repeated what I said in a comedic way. One of the employee felt the need to call him a racist for "mocking" my Asian accent even though it was just his natural speech pattern and went on a full righteous savior rant on us. This made us extremely upset of the unnecessary confrontation she caused. I have the ability to stand up for myself if malice intent does occur but what she did was nothing short of shameful.

Great little shop full of loads of cute plushies and anime related merchandise and figures. A little expensive and overpriced on some of the items but guess some products are imported. Was visiting from the UK and wish I had room to take a plushie back with me though :")

Unhelpful staff, went into the crane section played machine for multiple rounds, item went out of bounds <unreachable area>. Asked for assistance they said that they did not have the keys to open the crane machines and scramble the prizes. I've been to othe tokyo life style stores with the same mini cranes, and they have been able too. So why not this one.

For the claw machines, I do not recommend to try to catch things that are not 2 layers e.g., toys on top of toys). I was able to catch a lot of stuff from the machines some other day but today I spent 30 coins on the Pokemon machine and didn’t get anything lol

I can’t believe this happen to my 2 year daughter: my daughter was touching toys like any other kid will do she was very interested in a little teddy bear an she was carrying it around but all the time we were in there she was all over my daughter an when we went to pay she went to count the items to see if my daughter didn’t take one.. an there were other kids there to annshe didn’t do that to them because there were white an Asian.. but like we are Hispanic.. an she is Asian an her name is supposedly Maria she said.. never will go back to this store..

Just like every other Japanese store with Japanese stuff in it. If a black person is in the store they follow him around aggressively. They won't do it to any other race. Rude, aggressive, and hostile to black people here. Sad.

Cute Japanese shop in Little Tokyo. Overpriced but that's expected in a niche shop you can't just find everywhere. Staff was kind and I found what I wanted.
